If i could I'd give this place 0 stars. I purshased a firestick from this place thru amazon by mail. After only a few months it no longer streams movies. I spoke to Rajeev on a Friday. He claims that kodi has some problems and may up date over the weekend. He tells me to call back on Monday and he will let me know whether to send it back!!!! I'm in FL he's in CA!!!When I call back he starts rattling on about how the system hasn't updated... he'll call me back.. so on and so forth, when I try to questioned him for clarity he hangs up on me. So unprofessional. For those who are considering doing business with this guy DON'T DO IT.... now on to find someone local who knows what they are doing. This is my favorite go to shop in town. They carry everything from cell phones to Hoover boards and fidget spinners. They also carry the Amazon Fire stick with Kodi programmed on it. I brought in a decades old iBook but better built than newer iBooks that had stopped turning on (power supply?) along with the battery and AC power adapter. I gave $20. cash for estimate/deposit. I was told they could fix it. Well, when I came the FIRST TIME to pick it up I was shocked to see they had put my hard drive in a newer but more tarnished iBook G4 (cracked screen frame and scratched outer case, keys with characters worn off, etc.) and was told the motherboard on mine was gone and they didn't fix it because it was "too hard" to do so! Unbelievable! I then, with trust being gone, said I want my original iBook back with my hard drive put back in unrepairred! Another week passes and I go in today expecting to pick it up not working and find they put my HD in yet another iBook along with a different battery (mine had status level LEDs and this one didn't). They also tried to give me a different power supply! Luckily I had etched my initials so I will know which is mine! I finally got my own iBook back without repairs done and found that they forgot to put back (or stole!) three little feet pads (fourth is on battery). When I asked about them, the reply was "It doesn't matter if you aren't going to get it fixed!" I was so disgusted at that point I was just happy to have my originally back in hand and left! My computer had crashed and needed a good trustworth person to repair. I went online and googled a few spots in my area. Since Geek Squad would not take my warranty anymore, I did not have much of a choice. I found Advanced Computers and it had some good reviews. What peaked my interest was that they were cheap and fast. So I gave the guy a call, he told me to bring it in to check it out and that he would tell me what was wrong and how long it would take to fix. I dropped it off on Wednesday after work, he called me Thursday afternoon and told me what the problem was. Rajeesh, the owner was really cool and helpful, I told him to go ahead and fix what needed to be fixed and to make sure he backs up all my files beforehand because there are tons of baby pictures and videos that I would die if they were lost or erased. He called me later that day and told me to pick up my computer anytime, it was ready !! I went in, paid a very reasonable price and have been very happy with the performance of my computer. It's seems a tad bit faster now, so I am thinking he did an antivirus sweep and cleared all the bad stuff from it. I will definetly use him again and will recommend him to my friends and family. read more

They will listen to what you have to say and build a pc from scratch just the way you want it and fast and at a less expensive price than all the big box stores. Went to buy in Apple lightning to HDMI adapter for $30 purchased it went home plugged it in and it didn't work, did not show the screen or anything, I went back to the store to exchange it and when I got there I told him it didn't work and he got very defensive and rude, snatched the adapter back in threw my money down back on the counter in a rude manner,He then started complaining to me that he doesn't need to sell to me because he sells hundreds overseas, I was looking at it and it seems to be a fake adapter so he is selling fake Apple merchandise do not buy any apple or anything from him he's totally rude, and has the worst customer service, I asked him if I could trade in front of him to see that it doesn't work and he then again told me know he doesn't wanna do anything or sell to me just because I brought it back and said it didn't work, this guys a real piece of crap an a bad business owner never buy anything from them he sells fake Apple stuff and when I confronted him about it he then told me he didn't wanna deal with me or talk to me anymore, it's funny because he probably only sells overseas because the people cant come back to is crappy store to complain.. once again beware buying from the sky because he sells fake stuff read more

This was my 2nd visit to these guys. I went in originally to get my cracked screen replaced on my Note 4. Big mistake. I got my phone back from them, and everything seemed ok until I got home. I noticed the new screen wasn't glued properly into my phone, there was a side of the glass that was popping up on one side of my phone. I went back in to show Rajeev that when they replaced the screen on my Galaxy Note 4, the glass wasn't glued correctly into my phone, it was a subpar fix. He said no problem, we will take care of it, but it will cost you an extra $30 because this issue was from mishandling. WHAT?? I couldn't believe what I was hearing.. he wanted me to shell out an extra $30 after I had just spent close to $100 to get my screen "fixed". Long story short, I'm out $100 and my phone screen is still screwed. I don't recommend anyone go to these guys for phone, computer, or any other electronic repair. They will RIP YOU OFF! read more

I went to Adv. Comp. to have Outlook "sorted out" because of some problems I was having, being computer illiterate. Mr. Mehra agreed to help but, it turned out that there was an issue with the password and required the help of the hosting company. To make a long story short, I tried to get his input on the issue while the hosting was on line. He refused. After I hung up having received instructions as to how the fix the issue, I asked Mr. Mehra if if would now implement what was required. He began to make excuses and I informed him that I was prepared to pay for his services. I then asked him directly if he could but did not want to help. He said that he did not want to help. I then left the shop and took a card so that I could write this review. It was Sunday morning, and the shop was reasonably quiet, not that he was being taken away from customers. He was most unhelpful. His business is a people business and he simply did not understand or appreciate the need for customer service. I gave this shop one star. read more

Now other places charge 100.00 but I figured if he charges more it's because it's worth it. Noooooot!! I said I'll be there in 5 minutes , when I got there, the business is closed (and to my opinion it looks like a stereo car installation no signs of computer nor ipad repair office totally not a place that should charge $170.00 ) I called his number he answers and he says, " yea, I saw you on the parking lot but I left" and I sad "ok are you coming back ?" He said "yea, wait for me but what do you need?" I said "my ipad but I have some questions" he said " what kind of question can you have ?" In a bad tone!!! I said "i want to know how will it look like at the end do you have any samples?" He said ... "No" in a bad way. And I can go on and on and on .. My Mac hard drive bit the dust so I made a few calls and got a very reasonable quote and it was very close, so I gave it a try. I got excellent work, great price and the owner was very helpful. I had a minor issue after the fix and called Rajeev after hours. Boom! He got back to me in minutes. Can't beat that. My problem needed a trip back to the shop but I got my Mac back that day, no charge. I'm very happy with the service and value that I got. Excellent, excellent, excellent service. I contacted this company to update my FireStick and then sent it from the East Coast. I was expecting the turnaround time to be a week or so, but was surprised to find the package waiting in my mail within a couple of days. They were fast, efficient, and the cost for the update was exceptionally well valued along with the free return shipping. We emailed back and forth a few times and they were always timely with replying. It is nice to have a company where real people work with you and you are not just a number. I might be buying a refurbished Sony he had in stock. Great location. I went and ate at the South Bay Galleria across the street after I picked up my computer. Great find. Terrible company. Took my laptop to get looked at it took them 2-3 days to for them to get back to me to let me know what was wrong with. Every time I called to get an update the guy would say he would find out and call me back and every time he never followed up and called me back. Customer service is terrible. When I dropped my laptop off he said it would be ready Monday or Tuesday and when Tuesday rolled around I never got a call so I called the guy and asked for an update and to pick my laptop up and of course he said that he would find out and call me back. Of course, he didn't call back so I called back and the part they ordered was defective and was told it would take another three days and by this time they have had my laptop for about a week. I decided to take my business else were. They have no sense of urgency to fix my problem and are rude. Do yourself a favor and don't take your computer here. I dropped my printer off two weeks ago around 10am. The paper kept getting stuck in the roller. The owner of the shop said he would take a look at it and get back to me no later than 1 or 1:30. He never called me back so I called the next day during store hours and there was no answer. I left messages on both his cell and store numbers. Over the course of a week and a half, I left numerous messages and did not receive one return call. I finally drove back to the store yesterday and thankfully the owner was there. No apology what so-ever about not returning my calls or giving me an update as to whether my printer was fixable. I think he was hoping I would just leave it there. He told me he couldn't fix it. When I got home, I discovered that he had switched out the ink with some other brand. He kept my ink cartridges which happened to be new. Do not try this place. It's a scam. I also gave him $20 when I dropped off the printer which was his fee to evaluate the problem.I don't think he ever looked at it. I feel completely ripped off and wasted a lot of time. read more
