So of course my AC goes out on the hottest weekend of all time while I had out of town visitors. I requested a quote through Yelp, and Steve responded quickly. He set up an appointment for me within two days. Which was pretty good considering the demand for home AC service. Steve came out like he said he would, and completed the repair quickly. I had a pretty good idea of what the issue was, and he confirmed what I suspected. He replaced the needed part, and was very friendly. All in all a great experience. Daniel came out to troubleshoot our condenser issue which was making a loud noise. He was kind and professional. He gave us a couple of options and did not at any point become a parts salesman. I will certainly be doing business with him in the future with any of our home HVAC needs. We ultimately decided to live with the short lived noise everything the condenser shuts off versus paying thousands to get anything replaced at this time. I have had Advanced out to my home twice for the same job and they never spent enough time to figure out what the problem is. I made an appointment for them to come back last week but a member of my household got a Covid Positive so I cancelled the appointment and said when this were safe I'd call them back. This morning they showed up and I told I cancelled the appointment and had not scheduled a new one and he basically called me a liar and as he was leaving he said loudly enough so I could hear him "That's why nobody will come here we'll never come back" WTF! It's not bad enough had I made an appointment this would have been the third crack at actually fixing my heater but he gives me attitude when he comes when I don't /can't have anyone around? I had called and scheduled a simple pm service call for my furnace. Essentially I didn't know where the filter is for my unit so I wanted them to let me know where it went, put one in, and conduct the basic preventative maintenance which is 85$ and includes filter replacement. They did not notify me when they were on their way so I got a call as they were at my door. I let them know I was 10min out. They wanted to reschedule so I gave them the door code so they could start and not reschedule. When I got home, 15min later they were outside putting things away at their truck. Said all done, changed some settings on my ecobee and maintenance complete. They told me there is no filter for the furnace itself. Weird. "Awesome, thanks guys". Paid and they left. I get upstairs and my intake filter is missing... go downstairs and BAM, no filter in that intake either!!!! I text, I believe John, the service guy... nothing. I text the main number, I think was Carey, she didn't respond. (She responded quickly prior to service). I called, she apologized and said they would bring and DROP OFF the filters the following day, Saturday. I texted after the conversation and asked a time frame, no response!! No one contacted me Saturday and no one dropped off filters!!!! I have not tried to reach out to them again yet. This is ridiculous and should refund the 85 dollars for the .... service? If this is how they run their business I do not understand how they are still servicing our area!!! read more

Very happy with the technicians that came out to the house. (Total of 4 on two occasions.) Three men came out to clean out the ducts. They were very professional and cleaned up after the work was done. Overall, great experience with this place; Daniel was reasonable, and honest. Unfortunately, they weren't able to help me the way I would have liked, but I get it, every company has policies and different levels of risk aversion, so fair enough. Our A/C was blowing cool-ish, and so I contacted them on a Sunday via Yelp, and received a response within an hour or two. Set up for them to come out the next day, and they were on-time and responsive. Basically, we have a leak in our R-22 system, and it's not repairable. We were quoted for a new unit (Coleman 14 SEER), and the quote was a bit high for the equipment they were offering. Maybe a 16 SEER bigger-name brand (Amana, York, Carrier), and it would've been a bit more fair. But, all-in-all, they were very reasonable with what they did for us. Got us up and running temporarily for a reasonable price, and were willing to help us out within their company policies. We had a little emergency with our a/c going out and the weather was getting super hot. I contacted them on Saturday morning and in less than 5 minutes Steve, the owner, messaged me back. He was super responsive and very polite. Within an hour a technician was on their way. Daniel came and immediately figured out what was wrong and solved the issue within an hour. He was very polite and not trying to push things. He even wore a mask and abided by all the current covid-19 regulations. I am writing this review as I had a very different experience than other Yelpers on here and hopefully my experience helps someone... I contacted this company to conduct an inspection on my 11-year old system. The two units were operating fine when I booked the appointment but we just wanted to ensure they were maintained and ready for warmer weather. It was a surprise, therefore, when the estimate from the company was that we needed to replace the unit at a cost of over $8k. After the technician left there were also some disconcerting signs; most notably oil sprays around the unit. One of the units had been bled dry as a result of either carelessness or intentionality on the part of the technician (it is unfair for me to judge which it was). The rubber seal was missing from the side valve used during testing and we now had a non-functioning unit. I assumed the company was trying to bilk me so I had a third party come out (who had over thirty years experience) to assess the situation. He found the unit completely empty (depleted of R22), discovered the leak at the unit, repaired it with a simple turn of his tool and a new cap, and re-filled the unit. I will say the owner, Steve, offered to come out and inspect the work by his guy but I missed him on his visit due to my mistake. Regardless, the problem happened, and no amount of inspecting after the fact would change that I had to refill the unit, be inconvenienced, and out several hundred dollars. In conclusion, I am not certain that they were trying to pull a fast one or were just careless but, time and money are not commodities I care to waste and so I would not recommend using them based on my experience. read more

Mike and Danny are awesome! I was having intermittent issues with my furnace and thinking it was the usual thermocouple or igniter, I decided to take a crack at it myself before calling a technician. Once that didn't work, I gave Advanced Heating and Air a call to help me identify the issue. Mike and Danny showed up right on time and were extremely friendly. I explained the issue I was having and what I had done up to that point. They asked me how they could best serve me, so I said ideally I would like for them to identify the issue and if I'm able to fix it myself then I would. They pegged the failing part in 5 minutes (a pressure switch), gave me a few tips on what I needed to do, AND they even got it working again temporarily. I was able to get the part, install it the next day and now I'm back in business! You guys earned yourself a customer, and I will definitely be recommending Advanced Heating and Air to others. What a fantastic experience with chilling results. Sorry for the pun. We had interviewed four (4) companies to replace our 27-year-old inefficient AC. Advanced Heating & Air Conditioning was the only company that calculated air flow measurements during the free quote review. I Googled HVAC best practices to prepare for these reviews. They added intakes, changed vents, and rearranged the unit in the attic based on best practices. There were never any high-pressure sales tactics to close or make a sale like some others. This team delivered as promised. The AC runs less, and the house is colder than ever. The temperatures in all rooms are now the same! I have never experienced equal temperatures in all rooms in any of the homes I lived. We always had either a cold, hot or stagnant room. Not anymore! They also communicated the entire process step by step. The team arrived on time on installation day and went to work. I also have an air quality measuring tool that records PM1, PM2.5, and PM10, along with VOC and air quality scoring. The air quality has substantially improved on all levels to the point where we notice the air we breathe feels lighter. Without getting into details, the overall air quality score increased from 82 to 96. I highly recommend Advanced Heating & Air Conditioning. Advanced salesman Dan, was nice, approachable , helpful, and spoke to me like a human being, not just a recipient of some slick presentation. An air conditioning repair company that doesn't work when its hot out lol. I own rental homes and I was notified by a tenant that has a new born baby that the air conditioning wasn't working right . I called on a Monday and they said they would come out and look at it Tuesday at between 1:00pm and 3 . They text me on Tuesday and said they cant come out because it was going to be to hot outside and probably to hot in the attic maybe 130 up there . I have been in attics myself that have been 160+ and i don't do it for a living so i never had protective gear or ventilation fans that are used in this industry, its not fun but its what needs to be done .
