There is no excuse for the level of unprofessional behavior I experienced from Advanced IPM. I scheduled a service with them to come and treat our house and yard for fleas. They sent me, and I signed a contract for a service for today 5/1/2020. My family had to find a place for all 8 of us and our 4 pets to go for the entire evening. Not an easy feat during the shelter in place order. When the technician didn't show up I called to find out what happened and was told that they treated our house on 4/27(not true) Both the technician Bryce and the branch manager Jeff were rude and unhelpful. Thank goodness we were able to find someone else to come out today. I attached a copy of the contract I signed for the service that they did not honor and accused me of being dishonest about. I am amazed by the lack of compassion and and responsibility this company has shown me and my family. Beware! read more

I received a recommendation from a friend of mine who had been using Advanced IPM for several years to treat ants getting into her home. We experienced ants getting into our house for several months and every time I thought I had the problem under control, the ants just found new pathways for getting into the house. I called Advanced IPM as well as another pest control company I had used years earlier. Advanced IPM had a far better price and I've been extremely pleased with the work they do. They currently spray the yard and along the perimeter of the house once every two months. The ant problem disappeared almost immediately after the first application. The technician also destroyed a yellow jacket nest that I had found earlier that day after getting stung. I have found the Advanced IPM technicians to be thorough, knowledgeable, courteous, and personable. Climmie Hines, one Advanced IPM's technicians, just finished the most recent bimonthly treatment. Great experience so far. I reached out via Yelp to get a quote. Advanced IPM was quick to respond and set up a time to come give me a quote at my property. The pricing was in-line with what I expected, but I especially liked that they had options to service my home every month or every other month. Other companies I spoke with only wanted to commit to bi-monthly service schedules. Once I accepted the quote the Advanced IPM team was on-site within a couple of days for my first treatment. Just found this company after buying a new home. Unfortunately, it had some uninvited guest living at the home already. IPM did one treatment on the outside of the house and we found so many dead bugs. The main ones was the roaches and glad the treatments outside have helped. My wife has a long history of dealing with rats in San Francisco and has been traumatized a number of times in her interactions with rats. So, when she started to see rats running through our courtyard and deck this past holiday season she said "we need to do something about those rats" I remembered from a past conversation with an old friend who had a rodent problem at his house in San Francisco that he had mentioned that he had found a great pest/rodent control company. So, I reached out to him and asked for contact information of the company which was Joel Pangilinan at Advanced IPM. I followed up with Joel and setup a meeting for Joel to do a walk through our house, courtyard and deck to inspect for rat invasion. Joel came back confirming what we already knew but with even more information about a possible nest that the rats were working on under the house. Joel, put together a proposal quickly and we engaged Joel and Advanced IPM to "do something about those rats" Joel came back and executed his proposal of setting up traps with food but not setting the traps for a couple of weeks but instead to setup a peanut butter buffet on the traps for the rats to get use to coming in hanging out on the traps, eating the peanut butter and feeling pretty comfy. Joel did this for a couple of visits and on his third visit he started to set some of the traps. Joel came back and removed a couple of dead rats from under the house. Joel is continuing to execute his proposal and plan to conduct weekly visit for baiting and removing the rats until we can get the rat problem under control. Joel also recommended that we repair a door under our house that has allowed the rats to setup their condo complex. If you have a rat, rodent or pest problem I would highly recommend Joel and the team at Advanced IPM to help you deal with a problem that most of us would just prefer to ignore until they start to show up in our residents. I would beware of this company's employees and their anger issues. I recently had an encounter on the road and the driver of the Advanced IPM truck had gotten road rage for no apparent reason. I personally would avoid business with people who are like this because you never know what's going to happen when they come into your house to perform an inspection or if things don't go the right way. Called them up to check on a property that my tenants suspected may possibly have bed bugs. I contacted Advance IPM and they sent a technician out that same day. Tech wore all his PPE before coming into the building. He went over the property and did a meticulous search, explaining what he was looking for and if there were any tell tale signs of infestation. Fortunately for me, the tech confirmed the unit was pest free. Even better, there was no charge for the inspection! Afterwards, the tech gave me his mobile cell, indicating if there are any questions or concerns, I can call him anytime. This vendor is informative, responsive, honest and did a quality job. We work with Aaron Green from Advanced IPM for regular pest and lawn maintenance and it's been a great experience! We first contacted Advanced IPM when we moved to the neighborhood, and our yard was WILD- filled with ticks, bugs, spiders, all kinds of things with a lot of yard work to be done. Doing the yard work (removing trees, etc, cutting back weeds) sent all those bugs towards and into our house. (Ticks inside were scary!) Advanced IPM scheduled and immediate visit/assessment, and within a week or so had treated and solved the issues. Aaron has been a pleasure to work with besides, he comes to service our home every other month and we have not had any issues since. He's been awesome from day one helping us navigate our options, and being very upfront/honest about what really works. He's also really nice, and is a pleasure to talk to! He was able to identify and resolve the issue quickly. He was very knowledgeable about pest control and I was able to contact him easily. I called Advance IPM to see if I could schedule a termite inspection & service quote on my home. The gentleman on the phone was polite but to my surprise he told me they only service commercial buildings. I was a bit confused after reading the reviews. I'm not sure if it's due to the area of CA I live, but it was a bummer since it's termite season and a lot of my local exterminators are booked about a month out. read more

Excellent service from the start.  (yelp message to the business) Garette was very helpful and knowledgeable of my cockroach issue that I was having at home.  I needed a technician to come to my house that day since I was leaving the next day on a work trip which he was able to get Eber to check out my house.   Eber was an awesome technician - he asked questions and did a full inspection of my kitchen and garage - even though he did not see the cockroaches he could identity that there were cockroaches there.  He sprayed and set up traps so he could identify where they were coming from.   The second check up - Eber was able to see the german cockroach in my oven - he sprayed more in all areas.   In between check ups I did find dead baby cockroaches in my kitchen - good sign that the spray he used was working. Third and last check up - he did not see anymore cockroaches, but still sprayed in the kitchen and garage to prevent anymore coming into my house.  He was also nice enough to check outside our house and to identify how ants were coming into the house.
