When I'm craving sushi and want to go all in without destroying my wallet, Ahi & Vegetable is my go-to. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's lots of parking and plenty of seating inside, which already makes it an easy choice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For around $35 AYCE, the quality is honestly a steal. The variety is solid too -- tons of rolls to choose from, plus fried sides, miso soup, veggies, and more. You definitely don't feel limited for the price. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The AC is always bumping so bring a jacket if you're cold easily.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is always quick and helpful, and the food comes out at a steady pace so you can keep the rounds going. My personal favorites? Anything with shrimp tempura and spicy ahi. I always ask for unagi sauce on the side to dip everything in -- it adds that perfect touch of sweetness. All in all, if you're trying to eat a ton of sushi without breaking the bank, this is the move.

This review is based off of the Spicy Ahi Salad with Sesame Dressing, due to that being the only thing on the menu I have tried. The Spicy Ahi is great and I love how they diced the ahi up small! The lettuce is crispy and fresh, but I would love if a tad more was given in the salad. The dressing is so Ono and pairs super well with the spicy ahi! The staff when I walked in greeted me and was very nice! [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are tables to dine in, but I haven't tried dine in yet! It does seem like a nice spot to dine in and hopefully I can dine in and try some other items off the menu![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

AYCE sushi, $36 per person and everyone in your party needs to purchase AYCE. Workers are awesome, always checking to see if drinks need refills or if more sushi needs to be ordered. Food comes out pretty quickly and fish is fresh. Sushi cravings satisfied close to home.

First timers here for lunch and left very pleased. Just happy to see a sushi restaurant in our neighborhood. Our waitress was very friendly and polite. Our food came fast and with a side salad of one of the best dressings. Pictured is my Oyako Donburi, miso soup and a specialty sushi with Shrimp tempura. Disappointed there was no Salmon skin as it's one of our favorites. Everything was delicious and we like that Ahi and Vegetable honor Military and Seniors with 10% discount. Ahi & Veg is usually a solid choice for us so we went here for dinner since I was craving sushi. However, the quality that night wasn't as good as usual. It wasn't bad but I know I've had better quality from them. Bento B2 is usually my go-to. Our server was really nice. He allowed us to use his bottle opener to open our drinks. OMG!! THE 3 "P's" PRICE PRICE & PRICE! Plus THE 3 "Q's" QUALITY QUALITY & QUALITY! All items for the 6 of us were delicious! Asia our server was awesome! She was the only server in a packed full house on a Friday at 11am! But she kept her calm and her smile throughout so we tipped her 40%! She was worth it! And then my daughter gave her an extra $10! The $35 buffet on Fridays is to die for! I love the 10% discount for those over 65 too! But if the buffet STEAL of the week doesn't suit your fancy, the sushi rice spicy ahi for $8.99 is the deal of the century! I loved it. When in Ewa, you got to check this place out! It's a must! And it's probably why it was packed as soon as it opened! Hats off to the cook and staff that run this place! See you in a few days!

Ahi & Vegetable has quickly become one of my go-to spots since moving to the beach! I almost always get the Sumo Plate Combo, which is around $10, and it's such an amazing deal. The portion is huge -- I can honestly never finish it all. You get so much food for the price and everything is always fresh and satisfying. I also love coming here for their poke bowls, which are consistently good and hit the spot every time. Another thing that makes this place special is the staff. Everyone who works here is always so kind and welcoming, which really makes the experience even better. Great food, great portions, great value, and wonderful people. Definitely one of my new favorite spots!

First time here and I must say, I don't know why it took us so long! I've seen this company at a few parties. They were providing their mobile services... So we always wondered what the store location would have. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When you first walk in you wouldn't think this place would be an AYCE restaurant... but we seen the option on the door.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] At first we were just going to order bentos, but their AYCE menu we couldn't just pass up. One thing we did notice was that there would be a charge for my 1 year old who barely eats much... But one of the owners were there and waived the fee for my son. That may be a downfall to come back with my kids if I need to pay $11 for my 1 year old to eat a few strips of noodles. Hoping they can reconsider that charge in the future. As for the food, I could not complain! Everything was fresh, quick to be delivered and it was worth the price we paid. Will be back again when we are in the area.

Food is ok... their spicy ahi and salmon is more on the bland side, not much taste.. their California roll was actually good so overall it's just ok. Personally would I go there again? Probably not unless I'm already near. In all honesty... I'd probably go elsewhere because prices for their bentos is not worth what you get. For instance, I got a bento with 3 types of poke for $18 but food was bland and portion was not great. I could understand if portion was the way it was but the food gotta taste good at least but small portion and bland food... that's not it. The other bento I got on the other hand was good because it was just sashimi, California roll and spicy ahi and that was about $19 so is it worth the price? Maybe... I don't know. Overall it was just ok.

We tried the $36 AYCE for the first time. 90min time limit to enjoy a menu of 50+ food items (includes soda too). Really nice variety to choose from... raw fish, cooked items, salad, veggies, soup - only dessert was missing. Service was great and food came out timely. Portions were perfect. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were lucky to have dined before the entire place got packed, and left by 8pm completely stuffed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Sushi cravings (and more) filled.

Came here craving a poke bowl so I went to Ahi & Vegetable. I went a few days after their grand open. The store was pretty clean, and service was quick. I ordered the spicy ahi bowl. The food was a 1/10 and the service was a 7/10. The cashier smiled and treated me very good. Sadly, the food didn't live up to what I was expecting. The spicy ahi was straight mush. Service was so bad. Server was eating behind the register. She came to our table chewing her food while talking. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Food is bad. Not worth AYCE at all!!! And they forgot some of our order so idk what's the use of those order forms when they can't get the order right! Good food! Parking was easy and wait time was decent, but pro-tip get there early because as we were eating a LONG line/wait formed. The food is ono!! We finally got an awesome poke place to sit and eat at right here in Ewa! Service was friendly and everyone looks happy. You don't want disgruntled people making your poke! That's bad juju! It was nice to see people dining in and enjoying their food, from keiki to kupuna! There's a great soft opening special going on now, only $10.99 for a sumo spicy poke bowl! And best of all, there is AC in the place! Nice roomy space. I'll be back to try more dishes and the ono snacks the got! I knew this place would be awesome cause Darol is running it!! First time eating here and overall I had a great experience. AllYouCanEat sushi for just $35 (11am-8pm)! Now come on that is awesome especially if you are a sushi lover like me. The AYCE menu comes with specific items that you can choose from. Some of the options included nigiris, gunkans, poke bowls, rolls, sashimi, fried items, and even side items. I was in sushi heaven. It was a bit busy being that it is kind of a small area but our waitress tried her best to make sure we was well taken cared of. But everything I ate was on point. It tasted so fresh and melted in my mouth. In the end, I felt like a stuffed turkey and I got "kanak attack". The only downside would be that it is a small space with limited tables so when it gets busy there is a wait. Hopefully later on they can open one in Kapolei. Totally recommend! Guarantee I will come back again. read more

Sushi was okay not great. I haven't eaten inside but I did do take out. I got the bento #1 which had ahi, salmon, California rolls, and spicy ahi. It's nice that they had a variety of things, but I just don't think I'll be craving this place. I hear a lot of people enjoy the A.y.c.e there. I have been seeing this place all over my social media so I was excited to try it out. The cashier was friendly and the service was fast. I got my order, the Spicy Ahi Sumo Bowl, in less than 20 minutes. The spicy ahi was not spicy at all and was mashed up. It had a texture that was similar to canned tuna. It was not what I was expecting at all and had a very strong sesame oil flavor. I really wanted to like this place but the food wasn't what I was expecting it to be. If I am in the Ewa Beach area, I probably would return to try something else on the menu, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here. read more

Food: We ordered Spicy Ahi Bowls and Tempura bentos. The sushi rice, the miso soup and the tempura were tasty. The miso soup was piping hot and hit the spot! The spicy ahi didn't have any "spicy ahi flavor" (sriracha, mayo, tobiko, etc.). It was mashed into a paste-like consistency and drizzled with Sesame oil. Odd. Service: We were greeted by a very friendly and personable counterperson. She was very nice and energetic and made us feel welcomed. You could tell she enjoyed working there. Ambiance: Pro's - It's nicely decorated and clean and bright. They also offer dessert options like Asato Sherbert, cheesecakes and other assorted baked goods for your sweet tooth. Con's - The volume of the music was just too loud. The 2 cooks were talking and laughing louder than the music. The music and the loud talking were distracting. That energy is more appropriate if you're bbq'ing at the beach. If they rework the flavor of the poke and lower the volume of the music .. and the staff, they can be very successful and be the "go-to" poke and bento place in Ewa. read more

Only the sashimi is good Service is also pretty quick and the workers seem alright. The whole atmosphere is pretty good overall the whole design is awesome. But the spicy ahi doesn't taste very well. It's like slop. Some other stuff is too expensive and definitely not worth it. read more

Nice addition for the Ewa beach area. Another option for dlsushi/sashimi. I did order the Hamachi/Salmon Sashimi salad sunbsushi rice for greens (no additional cost) and 2 pieces spicy salmon sushi. The hamachi was excellent and truly fresh. The salmon however was not so and had an off taste. Sushi rice flavor and texture was on point with a generous amount. What was most impressive was the fresh wasabi provided in this could be bento. Spicy salmon sushi was also very good too. The store was clean and very welcoming. Menu board was bright; an abundant selection with pictures and very friendly staff. As stated, a nice addition to this neighborhood, but I feel the prices are quite inflated even as we are experiencing inflation in every corner of life. I do feel that there are other better options with higher quality and more favorable prices are available nearby. I'd say give them a try. Buen provencho! read more

We came and got the all you can eat. The waitress was very sweet and the fish is decent quality. BUT BE AWARE I brought my one year old with me (literally One year old, his 1st bday was in July) and I ordered him a tamago nigiri. When I went to pay they tried to charge me $10 for a kids all you can eat price. I could understand if they charged me for the nigiri I got for him but to charge me for an all you can eat kids price, GET REAL. The waitress was understanding and seemed hesitant to charge me but her manager (I'm assuming it was her manager because the waitress asked this lady for guidance) did not look friendly and looked annoyed that I was about to argue about paying the all you can eat price for an infant. All in all they ended up not charging me because I spoke up. I definitely recommend giving this place a try. I do not recommend coming with your baby if you want to share tamago or rice with them. read more

We were excited to try this place out for dinner and drove there after our grocery run, I was pretty sure it was open till 8pm. Got there before 6p and opened the door only to get greeted by the staff saying "sorry we're closed" There were customers eating at the table still, the sign was on, so we were shocked especially if they just had a soft opening and promoted specials. Then we hear another couple that told us they drove all the way from Aiea to try the place out and at around 5p was told the same thing. "It's really bad we're seeing everyone being turned away" Did you guys run out of everything? Or short staffed? There should've been a sign posted on the door or something to explain being closed early. Hopefully get to try this another day, probably gota go during morning hours. read more

I went when they stated their all you can eat sushi. I just didn't like the thought that they took so long with our food that I was tired waiting on it so I didn't eat my worth of sushi. But the kalihi location didn't disappoint they were so fast. read more

The place is not big and it's usually 1 or 2 people working the place. If you don't like their Wafu Steak then your mouth is broken. I hope they stay open for a long time.

Disappointing Experience with Unwelcoming Service AUGUST 7; LATE POST My family and I visited the sushi all-you-can-eat restaurant for the first time recently, and sadly, it didn't live up to our expectations. Despite the promising reviews about the food quality, our experience was marred by unwelcoming service and an uncomfortable atmosphere. Upon arrival, we were pleased to find the restaurant not too crowded, allowing us to get seated quickly. However, the initial excitement quickly faded when we encountered an unenthusiastic and uninviting staff. The young employees seemed more interested in their conversations than in serving customers, leaving us feeling like an interruption rather than valued guests. Our initial interaction with the boy who greeted us set the tone for the evening. His lackluster and monotonous demeanor conveyed a sense of indifference, as if taking our order was a chore. When we sought guidance as first-timers, his curt explanation of the rules came across as dismissive. We were taken aback by his attitude, which unfortunately persisted throughout our visit. The food itself arrived relatively promptly during our first round, satisfying our initial hunger. While most dishes were enjoyable, the spicy ahi failed to impress. We've had better elsewhere. As we began considering a second order, we were abruptly informed by the same boy that we couldn't proceed until we finished every last bite on our plates. This embarrassing encounter highlighted a lack of tact and customer-centric approach. Our subsequent orders were met with lengthy waits, and we had to prompt staff for missing items. The delays seemed unjustified given the moderate number of patrons and staff on hand. Frustratingly, even our third order took an unacceptable amount of time to arrive, leading us to abandon any further rounds. To add to our dissatisfaction, the quality of service extended to the cashier as well. We were billed for a diet drink we never received, and while the issue was resolved, it underscored the overall unprofessionalism and inattention to customer satisfaction. Regrettably, we won't be returning to this establishment. The uncomfortable atmosphere and the rude and unfriendly demeanor of the staff overshadowed the food quality, which was merely passable with a few exceptions. The second round of poke was saltier and the fish appeared aged, causing us to question the freshness. In conclusion, this was the worst all-you-can-eat experience we've encountered. While we understand the need for rules, the lack of communication along with the attitude regarding the "eat-all-your-food" before ordering rule, combined with the 90-minute time limit, left a sour taste in our mouths. I recommend going to the Kalihi location instead. This place isn't good. They gave us items we didn't order, and when I pointed out that the ahi nigiri and ahi bowl weren't part of our order, the guy insisted, "You marked it on the sheet." I DID NOT--I even double-checked my order! Basically, we had no choice but to take it. I don't understand why he couldn't just take it back to the kitchen. In the end, we had to pay for it even though we didn't eat it! Feels like they're trying to scam customers here. They also charged us $6 per uneaten roll. We only had ONE piece of sushi left--just one!--and they still charged us. On top of that, they even tried to charge for a 1-year-old. Seriously?! Never coming back here. Kalihi location is way better. Don't waste your time here. read more

Our family of 5 went to the Ewa Beach location on the eve of 1/22/25. We each had the all-you-can-eat (AYCE) menu and was pleasantly surprised as there were lots of choices. The service was great and pretty quick considering we ordered a lot as our 'ohana loves sushi and Japanese food in general. The food was tasty and fresh. The only suggestion is that the salad comes out in a deep square dish, so I wasted 1/2 as it was a lot for (1) serving, whereas I could've split it as my husband also ordered a salad (it should be served in the miso soup sized bowl). They let you know in the beginning if there's a lot of "waste", you'll get charged extra; so I suggest to order what you want and go from there. Will return again when we're craving sushi! read more

Went to a last minute dinner with the hubby and came to Ahi Vegetable in Ewa for the all you can eat sushi. Sushi was great especially at $35 pp and 5-mins from the house. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time as there is a slight wait for a table as this place is pretty crowded, which is a good sign of good food and good service... which I have to say the service was excellent and the servers are so kind and accommodating!
