I understand that during a pandemic, restaurants may not be able to serve at their full potential, however, this place was horriblee. There were flies in the restaurant buzzing around us. And we were given a couples size table for 4 people. That's barely any room. The workers were nice but the food was horrible. None of us even got through half of the meal. How can they mess up Buffalo wings?? The chicken was under cooked and it was drenched in hot sauce. Don't get their chicken piccata and definitely not the calzone. I decided to celebrate my 50-th birthday here, because we've been in this restaurant several times while passing by in a long drive and food was always great. Our reservation was confirmed twice: a month before and 2 days before for the certain table, certain time with certain appetisers on the table upfront. NONE was done, including candles weren't lighted. Wife of the owner took an initiative to say they weren't aware of the particular conditions for the reservation, but the owner had to apologise with 2 bottles of Champaign, which showed otherwise. Till we left the restaurant, the table that we reserved, but wasn't given to us, was NOT taken by anybody else, so the "false" reservation for the larger group of people that they use as an excuse for not assigning us the reserved table was just an excuse. Food was decent, but the "atmosphere" were not pleasant for the celebration, which I inform the wife of the owner. I hope better professionals will be running this business then the wife of the owner, in order to keep up with an excellent food and service as it was before. read more

We ate at Aiello's on Jan 19, celebrating my husbands birthday. Everything was outstanding. The calamari appetizer was the best we have ever had. We ordered Delmonico Steaks. They were so tender and flavorful. Excellent choices of wine and large portions add to the great dinner. Our server, Tyler, was also excellent. He was quite busy and handled it perfectly. He was attentive and friendly. We couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely go back. read more

I definitely recommend this restaurant! Everything was simply delightful! Every plate or bowl was beautiful and it tasted as good as it looked, it was amazingly tasty. I ordered the ravioli, it had the perfect amount of cheese and delicious tomato sauce. The ravioli in general had a scrumptious cream cheese and bright veggies, it was as smooth as butter and the way the skin looked was so pretty! While we where waiting for our food our waiter named Crystal was so nice and funny, and gave us some bread. The bread with butter was awesome! The crust of the bread was nice and crunchy but the middle of it was really soft and fluffy! Almost the best bread I ever had!!! It was all delightful. read more

Me and my friends stopped there for a what we thought would be a quick bite but after talking to Jeremy about the history of the place we ended up staying over an hour and a half. The food and service at Aiello's were both decent, but not in proportion to the pricing. The location is convenient, but not exactly scenic. I found the Greek salad to be quite good, but the margherita pizza rather bland. That said, what really detracted from the experience was the state of the men's restroom, with an unflushed toilet and water (best case scenario) all over the floor. At a restaurant where dinner ran $30+ per customer, I expected the facilities to be in better shape. While I'm sure that another patron was to blame for the mess, it was a quiet evening and an employee could have found time to check on the state of the restrooms once in awhile. read more

We wound up at Aiello's as it is one of the only sit-down restaurants in Whitney Point. We showed up on a Saturday night around 5:30pm with a party of 7 and were seated within 15 minutes. The ambiance is a touch strange but not enough to keep you from dining in (think: dining in your grandma's living room, complete with family photos and the like). The service was fast and friendly. We ordered 3 large pizzas including plain cheese, pepperoni and a house specialty with broccoli and tomatoes. All tasted great and I would definitely go again if we were in the area. read more

Just throwing this out there (not a huge review) but I've been going to Aiellos forever and it's always been simply fantastic. Love it there every time. The impetus for this review, though, is that my mom just brought home half a leftover BLT panini from Aiello's and I ended up eating it (cold, two days old). Now, I don't really like paninis and I don't really even like foccacia bread, or tomatoes, or lettuce, or mayo. I was eating the thing to get it out of the fridge. I do like bacon, though. A lot. And the bacon that Aiello's is using on these BLT's is absolutely fantastic. It's a heavily smoked bacon and it's magnificent. If you like smokey bacon, you will devour a BLT from Aiello's. Great place for amazing Italian cuisine! We went on a Saturday night and the place was packed. We sat in the bar area in the very back corner. Despite all of the people at the bar, our waitress Crystal which ALSO ran the bar was the BEST waitress I have ever had! She is very personable, efficient and really cares about her customers. Aiello's is our favorite place to go. The atmosphere is phenomenal. Charlie and Vinny are always willing to talk with their guests and ensure they are getting the best service and to make sure they are enjoying their meals. The Prime Rib on Friday nights is our favorite. The pizza is terrific as well. There is no competition around when it comes to their pizza. We went to NYC for the summer and our way back home to Canada, we took a pit stop as we were hungry. We had no idea we would find this hidden gem. WOW! Home made italian food and we even met the nonna who makes it. Talk about authentic. Everyone there was friendly and personable. The place was spotless and smelled amazing. Three things: great atmosphere and decorations, but slow service and expensive small meals. I came with a party of five and it seemed a little busy, but it took around an hour for us to finally get our meals. I ordered Fettucini Alfredo and was dissapointed on how small the plate was for 14 dollars. I order that almost everytime I go to an italian restaurant at home and it is always much cheaper with much more pasta. On the positive side, the sauce was very good quality and they had lots in the dish. If anything, they could have thrown in more pasta since there was so much extra sauce. read more

We order out from here probably once every two weeks. Their food has been consistently good over the years. Their garlic nots are very unique and not something you can get anywhere else. They are huge and are tossed in garlic butter, if I had to guess. Their subs good, fairly standard. Pizza is great New York style pie. Wings are very enjoyable. I can only really review the take out side of things. We never really stop into the restaurant to sit down for an actual meal. It's usually more on the expensive side. We just love getting food from here when we are all tired from work, and wasn't to drive up the road to get done great good to take home. The atmosphere of the restaurant was a little noisy for lunchtime. We went on Mother's Day, and we were seated in the lounge room, very near the bar. While this certainly detracted from the ambiance of a nicely furnished room, the food was really good and the menu was really long. I had a chicken spiedie sub. The chicken was really tender and seasoned well, and the homemade roll topped it off. The sub was quite large, probably footlong. I had a bite of my dad's pizza, and it was decent and the individual slices were big. The service was good. The bar is a full bar, and the beer selection is quite extensive. Blue Moon, Yuengling, and Sam Adams are among the premium beers they have. They appear to have good desserts, but we didn't try them. I've been here twice, and while this isn't the best pizza or sub that I've had, it was tasty. The quality furnishings, tavern-like feel of the lounge area, and decent seating counteract the noise, and this place really should be 3.5 stars. But since the chicken was just so good and at a decent price, this place gets rounded up. read more

I'm an NYC transplant to the area and a new acquaintance told me of this place. Said the owners born in Italy and came to upstate NY via Brooklyn. Ive eatin at some great restaurants in the city and these folks, I'll put them up against any of them. Sat at the bar, the owners son was behind the stick and very accommodating. Good selection of wines, was able to order off the menu with no problem. Looks like I've found a good spot for really great Italian food.
