The Naan was excellent--perfectly crispy and fluffy. Both the Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Vindaloo were delicious; the chicken was incredibly tender and the spice levels were just right. However, there were several disappointments. The Samosa appetizer only comes with two pieces (not mentioned on the menu) and they were mushy inside. Additionally, the portions for the mains were small--not much chicken and very little rice. The biggest issue was the atmosphere. It was already very hot inside, and they kept running the heater directly over us, which made eating spicy food quite uncomfortable. Also, be aware they charge an additional surcharge for credit cards. I'd likely give it another try for the flavors, but I hope they improve the portions and climate control.

We started with the spring rolls as appetizers, which were a great start to the meal. For the main course, we enjoyed a variety of dishes: chicken biryani, chicken karahi, and chicken kabobs. We also had three different flavors of naan. Although I frequently eat naan, this was my first time trying sesame naan, and it was incredibly delicious! Out of everything, the karahi stood out as my favorite--it was super tasty and full of flavor. To finish off the meal, we indulged in Gulab Jamun for dessert, accompanied by Peshawari Kahwa Chai. The dessert and chai were the perfect ending to an amazing meal. The service was good, and overall, it was a great dining experience.

If you're in the area give them a try!

Parking is a bit narrow and gets crowded in peak times. Loved the interiors... lots of seats inside to sit and dine . Loved the dhaba style seating on the left . We actually got one and we loved the ambience . Service was ok .. not too notch but not too slow . Of course we ordered the kulchaaaaaaaaaa.. it was superrbbbbb. Mind boggling... very authentic. And it surely can be had by 2 people ! One cannot have the whole thing ! 10/10 kulcha . Other items we tried : Naan and paneer tikka - good Paneer green starter - very good Hats bara kabab - very average . Tasted raw and not fried/cooked well Chole batura - very good Gobi Manchurian - disaster . Should not have ordered Chinese dish in Punjabi restaurant Gajar halwa - disaster ! Wasn't sweet at all. We had to put 2 spoons of sugar to make it taste like halwa Apart from kulcha , we had mixed opinions on the food with most of the dishes not that tasty . May be it is not a place for vegetarians . I heard the non veg items had better reviews here . Overall , 3 stars wish other dishes are as awesome as their kulcha :)

We started with samosas, two types; vegetable and chicken. These savory pastries were packed with well season veggies and chicken. The crust was light, flaky and perfectly crispy. The Lamb shanks was so tender, the meat fell of the bone. The spinach and paneer, a homemade cheese, paired well with the shank and vegetable fried rice. This spicy concoction cut through the heaviness of the meat dishes like a butter knife. The combination of flavors complimented each other and balanced the meal perfectly. The chai tea is a must. The original, smells and tastes like warm caramel. The "Kashmir chai" is an acquired taste. Less flavor intense than the regular chai but the pretty pink color adorned with shaved pistachio was a hit for the kids. If you still have room, carrot pudding, basil seed sherbet, assorted fudge and sweets are at your fingertips. Prices are reasonable, won't break the bank. I guarantee you will enjoy the experience.

A true institution in Little Pakistan, Lahori Chilli is an iconic restaurant nestled in the very busy row of neighborhood staples off of Foster Ave. This is a no-frills place serving up every day Pakistani cuisine in a Homey setting. There are booths for your comfort or an adjacent dining hall if you're here with family. They have some hot items almost every day that you can choose from, visible through the greasy glass of the display case. The sweets here are very very good, I particularly enjoy their falooda. Recently also sampled their gulab jamun, and they were to die for. Another dish they are super well known for is their battered masala fish fillet. This is something you have to dine in for to truly appreciate. It comes piping hot, crispy, and with just the perfect amount of masala dusting on top. A true culinary gem if you ask me. It has no bones and the crispy batter is the lightly crunchy without being super oily or greasy like a lot of other fried fish. The fish inside is moist, has no smell and is flaky. It is absolute perfection. Other things I absolutely love on their menu are their chicken seekh kababs and their kofta curry. Those two are usually my go to when I'm ordering food to go or delivery. I do want to give some feedback on a few things though. First of all, it's a little annoying that all the meat dishes are chicken only like I would like to see beef or lamb chapli kabab and seekh kabab. Why is the keema aloo chicken only? I wanna see lamb keema and beef keema on the menu. I also have noticed with some of the items that are in the buffet, they can have that smell sometimes that tells you that the food has been sitting out and not kept at the recommended temperature. A lot of food I order from the glass case goes bad the next day. I need the owner to implement better food safety. We also need more cleanliness around the dining area and spruce up the entrance a bit so people who are not local and privvy to desi food can have a clean and quality hole in the wall dining experience. Either way this restaurant is a place that I continue to frequent year after year. Thank you for feeding and nourishing this community.
