This old time diner sits in the middle of town in Alamo. There's some seating outside, and inside has some tables and counter seating as well. We were seated with a great view of the grill, and I was impressed that they use real eggs, and their home fries are from unfrozen potatoes. The staff is very friendly, and treat everyone like regulars. Their menu is mostly breakfast and sandwiches. Their pancakes are fluffy with a slight chewiness that's just perfect. What we ordered: + Paisano special - this included 2 pancakes, 3 eggs, home fries, and 2 linguicas. Their home fries are addicting. Everything was tasty. + Alamo pleaser - this included 1 pancake, 1 egg, and 2 sausages (or bacon). Everything was delicious. My only complaint is their scrambled eggs are flat. It would be nicer if they were broken up a bit during cooking to fluff them up. Overall, we enjoyed a hearty breakfast here.

Cute and cozy diner located off of a VERY small street in Alamo; parking is the number one obstacle here, and the restaurant's lack of a restroom is the second. Stopped in with my family, and despite the inconveniences we all enjoyed our meals and look forward to coming back! The Eggs Benedict here was one of my favorites that I've ever had- instead of thick cut ham, the ham was shredded which made it evenly cover the benny (now I'll struggle to have it any other way!). My husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak burrito, and he had zero complaints (which in itself speaks volumes!). Our waitress was SO sweet, and it was awesome to see a woman behind the grill in the kitchen. We will stop in again-- although next time, I'll ensure my family completes potty breaks before visiting... it was a long walk for my mother in law to the nearest gas station.

This is a cute coffee shop that is all American food. It is a small restaurant compared to others that has about 4-5 tables inside along with bar top that wraps around the kitchen. I ordered chicken fried steak with gravy and eggs potatoes. I liked it a lot it tasted like an all American breakfast meal. The staff and service were great. I love their coffee and always refilling it. The pricing was fair overall. I would recommend. They do not have a bathroom for customers.

This is is great the service is great I ordered the chicken fried steak and my wife order the huevos ranchero she's a bit dissatisfied with her order it was supposed to come with beef and all she got is just beef the reason I'm giving this 4 star rating it's because the service good and the chicken steak and the pancake is good.

Good breakfast place, has a small "hole in the wall" feel but still clean. Will be back soon to try the lunch.

They save your table for two hours, but then after we left, the line was still out the door. The restaurant is very reminiscent at old-school steakhouses. The interior ambience has an old-school charm with some nice upgrades and is very bright with nice green velvet couches that are comfortable to sit at. All the servers were very nice and patient with us even when they were super busy; our server Josh was very attentive. Good wine bottle prices starting at $40 didn't get a chance to try the cocktails but the prices are higher ag $15-$18. We ordered several starters to share for the table. Our favorite was the ricotta with olives. Very unique starter I haven't had that before and perfect mix of sweet savory with the honey in it too. They also give a basket of bread for the table, which was a nice touch. Also got an order of the zucchini fries, which is definitely a must have. It's that huge dish that the servers bring around with the mound of green fries on top of it fried perfectly and with a great seasoning. We got several different options for our mains. My friends really enjoyed the whole Bronzino with head on. I had the scallop dish which came with a very tasty corn and bacon risotto. Only three smaller pieces of scallop though so not worth the $44 imo. My other friends had the prime rib dip, which was tasty and the pork chop, which was also recommended by the server as an undercover dish that people don't order, but is surprisingly very good. Most of the meat dishes come with an additional side that you can choose. I like that they give you option options for ravioli spaghetti sides, instead of the typical fries or mashed potatoes. We also ordered two desserts the cheesecake which was highly recommended. It tasted like a soufflé cheesecake. It was very soft and fluffy. We also got the donuts which came with 2 different dipping sauces. The donuts were OK nothing extraordinary. Overall, had a very nice meal with friends would recommend going with a small group as they have great starters to share. I think I'll order the fish next time. I'm not partial to me, but they have a lot of meat dishes that looked exceptional. Park for three hours free in the Broadway parking plaza.

So we sat in the patio which had fans and nice plants which shaded well. Felt like sitting a garden and was cool. However when walked through the restaurant to the patio it was almost all empty and plenty of tables so kinda odd. Service was okay, kinda slower than I expected. Poor server also spilled water all over me but I was thankfully wearing shorts so it was okay. Food was great though! We ordered a Sedona chicken sandwich with garlic fries and chicken picatta. Sandwich was kinda like a grilled chicken burger. The thicken breast was moist and fries were crispy and tasty. Chicken picatta was delicious and perfectly mixed with mashed potatoes, spinach, capers. The chicken wasn't dry. Pear martini was the best. I would come here just for this drink. I think they home make the syrup. Old fashioned was good but a little sweet.
