I have been looking at moving from an SUV to an electric truck for about a month now. After looking at the Cybertruck, Rivian, and Lightning; I had settled on the Rivian. I had my offer from Rivian, and all I had to do was sign it. Before doing so, I went to the Rivian sub-Reddit to see what people were saying and found one where someone mentioned they had switched from Rivian to the Denali EV, which I didn't even know existed because GMC just released them last year. So, I went to Alexander GMC to look at one to make sure I was doing my due diligence before a major investment. I got there, and Abas spent an hour and a half going over all of the truck's options and letting me test drive it through town, on the 118, to my house to see if it would fit in my driveway and if my existing plugs would charge it at an acceptable rate. I took all the time I needed to evaluate, and Abas never rushed me. It ended up being an incredible truck. So much room. One of the smoothest rides I've ever experienced. Great looks and towing capacity. But I wasn't sold. The price point wasn't where I wanted it. Before I left, Jerran and Dave asked if I would be willing to consider more options before I left. I said, "sure." These two sat down with me and asked me what it would take to buy the truck. I was being a very polite but needy client, not one leaning toward purchase. I won't bore you with the details, but these two matched every ridiculous request I made. They made me feel heard, understood, valued, and appreciated at every turn. They never pressured me to make the purchase. They listened to what I wanted, what I had, and found a way to get it for me. In the four decades I've been buying vehicles, I have never felt like the process was more team-oriented than it was buying this one. They were so supportive and not pushy, that after I finally signed the contract, they actually said, "I didn't want to say anything while we were doing this because it was obvious you were struggling with the decision and I didn't want to influence you. I wanted you to be happy, and you could only be happy if you made this decision. But, I am really glad you bought this, because the trade-in on your car is about to go down, and the cost of these trucks is about to go up; and in 3 months you wouldn't be able to afford this." I found it to be so amazing that they recognized and respected my decision-making process and wanted more for me to be happy than for them to sell me a car that they actually allowed me to process on my own and support me rather than trying to influence and upsell me. I would not purchase a vehicle from these guys. My vehicle showed up with a large, deep scratch. I took it to the GM paint shop and the estimate was $1450. They stated that the scratch most likely occurred when the dealership put the painted fender flares on the vehicle. For my brand new truck to show up with a scratch and for Alexander GMC to refuse to make it right, it is garbage. Also, they rushed us through the paperwork so that the truck should be shipped to us the same day. They did not honor the $2500 GM loyalty cash. We buy 2 pickups every @5 years from GM. They said they couldn't go back and fix it because they had already sent the registration in. I don't believe that at all. Finally, after shuffling me from one voicemail to the other, they just stopped contacting me after assuring me that the Manager would call me back. Dennis and Mike were helpful up until I had and issue and then that ended. It may not be those guys directly, but the sentiment falls on everyone involved when this stuff happens. I'm fairly disappointed. GM and Alexander GMC are falling in line with the rest of the world, terrible customer service for very expensive purchases. I wasn't offered anything to help remedy the issues. Find a different dealership. read more

Sadly I must redact my five star rating to one star as there was a major issue with the recent purchase of my all electric Denali truck. I was misinformed before and during the purchase process to find out that the range on my truck is not what I was disclosed the entire time of the purchase. The range I thought I was buying played a very big role in the decision of purchasing the vehicle.I have reached out to management and no one has responded. When I was asking him about prices and down payments he sent me a link to fill out. I had asked if this would run my credit at all. He said no it was a soft pull and he wouldn't run anything hard without my approval. Two minutes later I'm getting notifications that he ran a hard credit. I asked him why he wasn't upfront with me. He proceeded to blame me and then gave me Sam's number. Took my gmc truck in for the free oil change and get some minor recalls done. The auto stop still wasn't working, ON STAR said oil life was only 17 percent and my back tires were on the front and front tires were on the back. The service advisor said ON STAR was probably wrong. Checked the truck,it said ON STAR was right. I made mention about how capable the mechanic was or wasn't. that pissed the service jockey off. They said don't say bad things about their grease monkey. They can't build good vehicles and certainly can't fix them. read more
