Tried the "World Famous" Vanilla Latte... Hubby Still Makes Mine Better Stumbled upon this coffee spot right next to the delicious Lou croissants nearby, and since my husband is a huge espresso coffee lover, I decided to surprise him with a nice iced coffee drink after our pastry stop. Anytime we try a new coffee spot, we either stick to our usuals or try whatever they're most known for. Since this was very spur of the moment and I didn't get a chance to Yelp-stalk the menu beforehand, I went straight for what they were apparently famous for -- the "World Famous Vanilla Latte" with whole milk. Service was very fast, and I believe they have maybe about two outdoor tables, but no indoor seating. Definitely more of a quick grab-and-go coffee stop. We ordered the 16 oz Vanilla Latte for $7.50, and I'd give it about a 7/10. Now every coffee spot makes their lattes a little differently, and while I know lattes naturally have more milk, this one had a bit too much milk for my preference. I will say though -- the drink itself was very smooth and easy to drink overall. But "world famous"? Hmm... I wouldn't quite go that far. I've definitely had better vanilla lattes elsewhere, and honestly... I probably still prefer the way my husband makes his at home lol. This was one of those drinks where you sip it and think, "Yeah, it's decent," but not something I'd go out of my way for again or crave later. Still, friendly service and a nice quick stop if you're already in the area! Happy drinks!

Lady at the register was very nice . Americano was strong . (Added maple syrup and a splash of oatmilk). Burrito wasn't extraordinary but it does the job if you're in a pinch and just wanna grab something quickly . Keep in mind burrito is premade so you can't modify it .

Ok for coffee, but the orders kept getting screeed up. We just want a cup of coffee. Why did it get to be so complicated? On a busy intersection corner that just seemed to be asking for an incident of some sort. We should've stopped at a McDonald's. Faster service and better coffee. What do ya want for LA? CritDicks

Alfred Coffee is one of our favorites coffee spots. This is the first time we've visited this Alfred Coffee Burbank location since we weren't aware there's one at Burbank. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and found parking right in front of Alfred Coffee. As usual staff was great, engaging and friendly. Alfred Coffee staff always provides excellent customer service and delicious coffee. We ordered our favorites, the World Famous Vanilla Latte Iced and Matcha Latte Iced. As always, Alfred Coffee does not disappoint. You can taste the espresso and vanilla yet it's not too sweet and oversaturated. The matcha was on point and a perfect balance with the latte. Thank you Alfred Coffee and can't wait to stop by tomorrow.

Stopped by this gem for a refreshing drink and I am so glad I did. The sweet barista recommended the Arnold Palmer or the strawberry lemonade. I couldn't decide so I bought them both. I will be coming back and trying their Horchata cold brew or their Espresso Cloud Cream drink. Thank you so much for the great hospitality.

Parking is not great but we got lucky. Its all street parking so you might have to be searching but just requires a little patience. It's outside only with a small patio. Nice but the chairs are kind of wobbly. The staff taking our order was very friendly and happy to answer my questions and food allergy concern. I ordered the Chaggacino iced. Delicious! Its a mushroom coffee that I am not familiar with. Happy I tried it. Not too sweet and had a slightly different flavor to it. Subtle. Would live to return to this spot. Thank you!

Went here because I got a $20 gift card for my birthday. I know this place can be expensive, so I didn't think I'd be able to get much, but someone posted a photo of the pastries menu, so I was able to get 4 pastries which I'm quite happy about. I got 2 pain au chocolats, a chocolate chip cookie, and an almond croissant. When I unpacked them at home, I was so happy that I literally did a little dance. I did go over by $1 and tried to pay by cash, but the cashier said they didn't take cash, so I had to pay it by card. This place is more of a kiosk, so you can read the signs with the menu outside, or do what I did and look at the signs people posted on Google Maps ahead of time, then order at the little window. Afterwards, you go around to the side to wait for your order at the pick up window. I went around 8:30 in the morning and there were already around 4 people waiting for their orders ahead of me. It's all very casual and in the short time I was there, I saw and petted 3 dogs, and had small talk with one of the dog owners. Parking here is free on the side streets and easier than its other locations, but even then I still had to park at the very end of the block and walk back to the kiosk. There are also a bunch of yellow curbs which mean drop off or pick up of passengers only, but I still saw people park there anyway. There are a few bistro tables, chairs, and umbrellas outside if you'd like to eat and drink at the spot, but for the most part, most of us picked up our orders and took them home.

Cute little coffee spot in Burbank. I came by around 9am on a weekday and had no problem finding a two-hour street parking spot right out front. Super easy. I ordered ahead on their app and the wait was about 15 minutes, which felt a little long for the morning but not too bad. I tried the iced sparkling americano. They don't charge extra for the sparkling version, which I think is awesome. Price is $4.50 no matter if you get a 12, 16, or 24 oz. Pretty sure it's just two shots for all sizes though, so the big ones might taste watered down. The drink itself was actually really refreshing. It has this slight sweetness but I think that's just from the sparkling water. Definitely lighter than a latte and perfect if you want something caffeinated but not heavy. There are only three small tables outside, so seating is limited, but it works if you just want to sit for a bit. It's also right by Lou The French, so next time I'm planning to grab a pastry there to go with my coffee. Overall, nothing fancy, but I'd come back. The sparkling americano was different and worth trying.

A great experience this time at Alfred Coffee. Ladies at the registers were attentive and took our order immediately. We ordered and our drinks were ready within 5 or so minutes. It was perfect because we had a meeting to get to.

    Matchaga
    Cindy C.

Came here specifically to try the Matchaga, a matcha mushroom latte, and ordered a small hot one. I was a little disappointed right away because the color wasn't very vibrant, especially since they mention using ceremonial grade matcha. Flavor wise, it leaned much more toward the mushroom than the matcha, and while it wasn't sweet (which I usually don't mind), the balance just didn't work for me. On the positive side, the shop itself is really cute and there wasn't much of a wait at all. Overall, I'm glad I tried it, but it's not a drink I'd come back for.

This Alfred Coffee is located in one of the busiest areas in Burbank. I was not impressed with this location at all. I placed an online order ahead of time and had to wait 10 minutes or so for my order to be ready. They should provide better customer service for the prices they charge. I felt that employee was bothered by my presence there. No greeting, no calling names ( I had to ask, if my order was ready). Then he handed it to me. This location is mostly pick up location. There are couple of tables outside and ordering is through the window. Parking is a challenge too.

First time at this location and I'm sad to say it fell flat. Upon reaching the order window the barista let me know the only drinks available to order are drip coffees, teas, and a cold brew. I opted for the cold brew with almond milk and it was meh. Something about it tasted acidic and just not enjoyable to drink. Ive never had any issues with the Pasadena location and this is my second experience at a different location that has fallen short of excellence.

Completely different menu. Food was beyond sub par you can make the food at home and would taste better! Save your money. Everything we had from two orders of "taquitos", "esquite", quesadillas and a blood orange mojito. The only thing with a bit of flavor was the esquite, but again to pay for roasted corn on the cob with just mayo and cheese? For $13 ? NEVER AGAIN. I have a problem with the way they name their items which is a bit misleading. For example, they have an item called taquitos, meaning you would expect a rolled fried taquitos. What came was tacos dorados so why is it named taquitos? They DID write on the menu that it's fried tacos..but again why are they not just calling it TACOS DORADOS? Same with esquite typically esquites are corn off the cob but this was on the COBB and yes it was described on the menu as on the Cobb but again why not call it ELOTE instead of esquite. Clearly this is semantics but just frustrating. If you want authentic Mexican food there is a Don Cuco's around the block that is WAY better than this place. They are at a different tier than this Kalavera's location. If you're a drinker perhaps that would make the food taste better...so disappointed and a waste of money!

That's why Allison at Finney's is so kick-ass. She runs Finney's flawlessly. I'm a big foodie and hit up lots of different restaurants around LA, and Finney's in Burbank has definitely become my go-to spot. Amazed that it was $14 and it was a pretty big flatbread! I would say that the proscuitto wasnt spread out enough. There were some pieces that didnt have any at all! First, their cafe de olla is absolutely delicious. This remains one of the only places where I genuinely enjoy ordering cafe de olla. Second, their food is incredible. They serve excellent portions, everything tastes fresh, and the food is just so good. I've had their taquitos and chilaquiles, and both were delicious. The only downside is that every time I've come, there has usually been a bit of a wait, especially because the restaurant itself is pretty small with limited seating. The inside is cute, but small, so we usually end up sitting outside. This is where their Monrovia location does have the advantage because it has much more space. Parking can also be tricky. Good luck finding a spot close enough where you don't have to walk far. We usually end up parking in the residential area around the corner. That said, the staff are wonderful and always try to be as accommodating as possible despite how busy they are. Highly recommend this place if you're okay with possibly waiting a bit for seating. My friend and I went into this Cafe De Olla on the 17th of this month at 2pm. She met me there and lives in Burbank. I have been here once, I believe back in 2018. It was pretty solid in every way. We were warmly greeted by Erick--the host, standing by the podium and right away he got us a seat inside. After like 5 minutes, Elsa, our server approached us to take our order. My friend and I both felt like we were being rushed through our meal. Food came out hot and quick. We opted for a few of their dishes. Tacos Mananeros, came with 4 tacos ($18.95), with 4 complimentary sauces. 2 of the sauces were very spicy and Elsa didn't warn us. We also got the Veggie Omelette with tomatoes, onions, spinach, mushrooms, Jack cheese, topped with avocado and a side order of hash browns. They made the hash browns perfectly. Told her nice and crispy on the top and that's what we got. (18.95). We also shared their French Toast topped with Strawberry, Blueberries, and Blackberries. ($16.95) topped with lots of Whipped Cream (which I love) and a side of syrup. We needed to add more syrup to make the French Toast more moist. The French Toast was a bit dry for our liking. Even the people sitting next to us who ordered the same thing were saying the same. On the flip side, the other 2 dishes tasted fresh and delicious. Great portions for the prices. We also got this drink called Powerful from their smoothies section of the menu. It was called Green Smoothie. Ingredients were the following: blueberries, honey, Greek Vanilla yogurt, avocado and Almond milk. It was simply very refreshing and delicious. My friend wanted some sort of Latte, Espresso, Americano, etc..but they didn't have any of those drinks. All they had was regular & decaf coffee. At first, I asked for Cranberry juice, and Jose, said they only had Apple and Orange juice. We found it a bit odd not to have any of those drinks. Going back to our server Elsa, she was a bit aloof and forgetful. I asked for a bowl of fruit, and it never made it to our table. After we were done eating, I asked for two to-go boxes and a bag, she forgot that too. We had to ask the other employees to get them for us. The same with to-go containers for our sauces. She forgot to bring napkins too. Jose, (our busboy), needs a raise and promotion! This young man read all the ingredients on the Taco menu which came with: bacon & egg, chorizo with potato & eggs, machaka/eggs, & nopaitos/eggs. The writing in their menu was very small. Another server by the name of Angel, truly was an angel. Checked on us while Elsa was taking orders over the phone. They have another location in Monrovia, a gender neutral restroom, place was very clean. Inside was small. It had 10 tables and nice couches with cozy, inspirational decor and pillows. Lovely music playing over head with a nice patio seating. Will I return? Yes, but not anytime soon! Also check for their business hours..
