I don't know what it is, I only encounter Alfred Coffee when traveling (at LAX now). This is THE best Mocha -- bar none! I actually "discovered" Alfred after getting a vanilla latte for the first time at the airport location. It's super convenient whether you're flying out of terminal 2 or 3 (I'm often in terminal 2 and stop here first for some cava and then an iced strawberry matcha). Quality is the same as a non airport location. Price is higher but thankfully I am usually expensing it. read more

Was in terminal 3 for an early flight and saw this spot. This might be the first time I've ever seen an Alfred Coffee at the airport. Since it was early, the place wasn't super busy and the service was friendly and quick. I just got a regular drip (I added cream) so it was an easy straightforward pour, grab and go type order. Easy peasy and I was on my way. The coffee was good or at least it provided my caffeine fix and a delicious manner. The ambiance of the spot was pretty peaceful and chill in the morning. I could have sat at one of the tables, but my gate was nearby and opted to just sit in that area. Great option if you are looking for some coffee while waiting for your flight. I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth but strong this coffee was. I ordered a regular hot brewed coffee, black. Service was friendly and quick. Overall good choice. I had not heard of this coffee before today but glad I tried it. The only reason it got a 4 star is because the lid on the cup kept dripping from the sides even after I took it off, wiped it dry, drank some down to no avail. Didn't stop me from drinking it. This Alfred's is inside the Delta terminals after TSA. It's located at the down of the hall between gates 30-39. I always make a pit stop here before my flights! I usually grab an iced coffee/matcha and a Path water bottle. The service here is quick & the staff is so nice and patient! You can order ahead via QR code on the LAX Shop+Dine app as well if you are in a rush. They also sell grab & go snacks such as oatmeal, yogurt parfaits, beer & alcohol. They have a breakfast menu consisted of bagels, breakfast burritos & sandwiches. They also have seating and standing areas enougn to do some work or just to recharge. The noise level in the store is very quiet compared to the rest of the noise at the airport. This time around, I got a matcha latte with coconut milk and honey sweetener. Stopping at Alfred Coffee in the airport is now part of my routine when leaving LA even tho it's a walk from terminal 1 (Southwest girlie). I love a good matcha tho, a true snob, and even tho it isn't the greenest color or most authentic matcha I am addicted to their strawberry puree and the fact that they offer Macadamia milk as an option. Skip it. Terminal three has extremely limited options for food. The good news is is that by walking down to the gates there appear to be a lot of options coming soon but right now, there's barely anything. I opted for something quick and grabbed a coffee at a sandwich. The sandwich felt like it had been sitting there for multiple days. Lettuce was wilted. Cheese was kind of melted and it came with a weird Kraft dressing packet but no salad. I ate a few bites and then opted to head to a convenience store to get some prepackaged shelf stable snacks instead of trying to eat something fresh that just wasn't it. The Americano I got was a safe choice and was fine. Nothing I would go back for, but nothing that would keep me from going there again. The person that helped me was extremely nice. However, the other coworker was a little rude, and seemed to admonish her after she helped me. Something about maybe the drink size was unclear but the girl that helped me just rolled with it. I have to amid I'm an Alfred snob so when I saw that they have an Alfred at LAX and it's the terminal I'm in (T3), I have to get it! Alfred Coffee is located in Terminal 3 of LAX. It's the only coffee shop available. I've never heard of them so I was all for trying em out. There was a line but it moved pretty quickly. Less than 10 minutes. They have a whole section on the menu advertising, "Home of the World Famous Iced Vanilla Latte". I was in the mood for an iced drink so I ordered just that substituted with macadamia milk. Other alternatives are oat and almond milk. The drink was just OKAY. Nothing special. It took me a minute to break the syrup at the bottom. The straw wasn't strong enough so I used a fork to stir it up. I'll just stick to a regular coffee or espresso next time. read more

This was a great Alford coffee in the LAX airport. I'm happy to see you added to terminal 3. The line moved pretty quickly and my drink was made really well! I got the iced lavender latte with almond milk, which is one of their seasonal specials and it was really good... Not too sweet, just the right balance of the coffee and lavender. The storefront is super cute with the Alfred sign, and there were even a few tables to sit around the coffee shop. You could also just take your food and drink and go sit in the seats by your gate or anywhere else. There were limited food items when I was there, which was likely just a function of the morning rush. I wasn't getting food, so it was OK but if I was, they were out of almost everything for breakfast. Overall, I would definitely go back if my flight is in that section of the terminal. read more

First things first. ALFREDS IN LAX!!!???? That alone had me really excited! Like other Alfreds around the LA area, this one wasn't very different. Staff was amazing Very Very Patient and great customer service. I walked in and to my surprise there was no line but there was one worker in the front who was busy making coffees, as soon as he noticed me, he welcomed me in and pointed me towards their new kiosk tablets to self order. I was having a little trouble guiding myself through the tablet and the employee noticed and told me to hold on for a second. I was just trying to find an option to add a ginger shot to my order but couldn't find it, once the employee over the counter finished handing out the drinks he came right to me and help'd me find what i was missing. Their iced matcha was really the one of thee best matcha lattes I've had in quite a while. Solid 10/10(with oat milk of course) Their Grab and Go area was well organized and fully stocked. They even had alcohol on their top row for the grab and go!!! Trash area looked way better compared to the other chains around. Silverware neatly organized as well as their options of sweeteners. Normally I will find Alfred Coffee whenever I visit a farmers market in West Los Angeles, but now this mini-coffee franchise has a new stand in LAX Terminal 3. There was quite a long line in early morning because this is the only coffee shop you'll find in Gate 31 - Gate 38 of Terminal 3. Coffee prices are slightly more expensive than other 3rd wave coffee shops you will find in Los Angeles.
