I have had nothing but horrible service since I signed up. They missed the first 2 start up deliveries then brought me 3 bottles and the next day brought 3 more and tried to give me another tower. Had to put deliveries on hold for over a month since I had 6 bottles of water. I asked for 1 bottle every 2 weeks and of course it still shows 3 bottles. I Close my account with Alhambra (ds waters) since February 28, 2018. Instead of picking everything up on the day we had set, they deliver more water. I call and notify their mistake, and we set another day for them to pick up what they deliver by mistake and everything else including the rack. They came and successfully retrieved everything. 2 days ago I got and e-mail with a bill!!!! is super ridiculous, the way they can still generate a "bill" after your account is paid in full - and closed. I call and they apologized for the mistake and fix it. But is crazy how they can CHARGE you for something that doesn't exists and put it nicely on a bill format. Still miscommunication between the headquarters in Florida and the local delivery branch in Union city. Very unprofessional. By the way I got their offer though COSTCO that's why we trusted it to be something "good" and "convenient" looks like Costco don't check their vendors like they used to years ago. Dropping my Alhambra review back to where it began. After many, many phone calls and begging for help a while back, we got some help. Since my previous review, every order has had problems. Several phone calls with support have not improved anything. Each call is a pretty simple request: Delivery when we are open, and pick up the empty bottles. Each following delivery has been delivered during non-delivery times, left outside on the street, and our empties cluttering the lobby remain for months at a time. ---- The above review was left after a delivery was left on the street outside sometime before we opened. Promised a redeliver and a call to explain/fix. Four weeks later, I got a receipt for charges on that service. No call, no fix. This is standard service here. While on hold (currently sitting on a 45min+ hold) they call themselves "Primo Water Service" in the bay area. That name doesn't exist on Yelp or have a space where their services can be evaluated. I signed up for this service a year ago through Costco Delivery was not consistent and I decided to cancel my service after 4 months..Called and spoke to someone who told me my service would be cancelled after the month is over. I didn't receive anymore deliveries of water and figured my service was cancelled . WRONG...was waiting for a final bill in the mail which never materialized..so I call again ..no one answers..after numerous tries to get a hold of someone..i leave a message and wait..instead of a final bill I get a letter from a collection agency. I called the next day and they told me the driver canceled me and there was nothing on the books to reschedule. We use Alhambra for our agency and everything was ok until we stopped received our scheduled delivery in November. They sent emails saying that the delivery was cancelled and provided no reason. Called customer service and they rescheduled and could not provide a reason why they kept canceling the delivery. It is now Jan 2023 and we have not received a delivery since then even after they rescheduled about 6-7 times and could provide no reason why the driver was not stopping at our office. The customer service representatives were friendly but we cant keep rescheduling our delivery over and over and have them not show up. In addition they were not able to follow directions as to where and what times to deliver to our office and would come when we were closed. Our office has been without water since Nov 2022 and we have decided to go with another company. read more

Made the mistake of signing up for Costco over a year ago. Was not happy all I have to say is be careful what you pay for. I always had the plastic bottles outside for driver and not I have a $2hundred something dollar collection on my credit report. Should have walked past the guy at Costco and never signed up. I can't even explain how horrible my experiences with this company. A month ago, I walked into Costco and a member of Alhambra approached me and talked to me for a good 10-15 mins explaining how their service. My wife and I were very impressed and decided to give their service a try. We were told within 3 business days that I'd get a call from a Alhambra representative to schedule my first delivery....Hmmmm, yeah right, I got that phone call a week later. I was told that my first delivery was going to be on June 14 between 4pm - 5pm. I rushed home to make sure that I get home before they deliver; my wife who does not drive at this time waited for 2 long hours for me to pick her up after work. 5pm, still no delivery, I've decided to leave and pick my wife. While on the road, I contacted them and I was told that my water was going to be delivered and to go home immediately which I rushed to get my wife to make sure we get home on time. 6pm, 7pm, 8pm still no courtesy call or delivery. Contacted the next day and they apologized saying that they are having a realignment at the Milpitas location and are short staff. I was okay with that reason and they rescheduled my delivery the following Monday. Left work early again and had my wife wait for me again until they deliver. 5pm comes same stuff, no courtesy call and no delivery. Contacted again the next day and I was told this time that they will talk to the Milpitas location manager and will expedite my delivery. They scheduled again the next next; same results; no show, no call. Contacted them last Friday and I was told that I canceled and they will have to reactivate my account and my delivery will be the following Wednesday. Took the day off and again, no show; no call. I called them this morning and I was told that the driver was calling me but phone did not work (hmmmm, I was like hello, I'm in a Staffing business and my phone is on 24 hour a day)...So, I asked to speak to a manager and for some reason there were no managers available, but the said, she will get with the Branch Manager to make sure it will get delivered tonight between 4pm to 5pm...Once again, I was fooled; I rushed home and this time I had someone pick up my wife to work feeling confident that this is finally going to come to a fruition. The one star is actually only for the drivers. They have always been super friendly, but their customer service is the absolute WORST. If I have any issues, which there have been several, I have to call the 800 number and their hold times are always 1+ hours. We've had several deliveries either skipped or made outside our regular business hours, each time requiring a phone call or having to get water somewhere else to hold us over. I have been trying for two days to reach someone, but to no avail. After 45 minutes I did have someone pick up but then she transferred me and I was put on hold for another 40 minutes. From that day it has been a wait to get the first delivery. It took al.ost 10 days to get the first delivery... Believe it or not, and they price themselves for on time delivery. OK. Now I thought thru... it can be an honest delay... ant argue with that.. But then, I finished my 2 bottles and waited endlessly and forward up multiple times with the Alhambra company to provide the bottles ASAP. The delivery never came... the c uhh stoner service apologised, and supposedly made the note of the same and said it would finally come by jun 6, or Jun 13 later on.. I think this are the dates when I was promised delivery but no one came or responded... i got so sick and tired of their laid back attitude that I finally asked to cancel the subscription. When they sent me the bill, no one could explain the bill and clear my doubts. I asked them to pick the bottles and the water dispenser but no one has come to pick up or drop any note of any kind. They have the audacity of sending the bill every month with late charges and the- wait till you hear this- water dispenser charges... and paper invoice fees etc... this screwed up bill is inflated to $60 today... this is horrible e listener and I am never gonna believe subscription service with home delivery option... I have been unable to cancel my service for 7 months now. My company initially asked to cancel service at the end of November 2021. We were closing our physical office and having all employees work remotely. We have them schedule more than 8 pick up dates where they never showed up between December and the first week of February. I had an employee who was on standby to let the workers in on each of those days, meaning they couldn't travel or schedule meetings. We were required to move out by a specific date, I communicated this information, that that would be the last day they could pick up the water cooler or we would consider it abandoned (this means they had about 2.5 months to retrieve it). They did not come, and building management has since removed the cooler. I am continuing to get bills every month, and when I call customer service the credit our account and say they will work with the local branch management to get it resolved. I am spending about 2-3hours ever month on the phone with them trying to close our account. It has been seven months total, and 4 months since the equipment was accessible, and literally nothing has changed. I am so disappointed with this water service. We've had so many missed deliveries. This week alone we had four, I'm certain that the delivery they rescheduled for tomorrow will put us at 5. If I could give zero stars I would. They're customer service is terrible, and they really don't care about having your business. I set up a delivery/installation for Monday 7/24/17 when I did this I was told that I could set up to have them come by after 5pm- perfect I thought! Because I'm out of work at 4:30. Monday came and I got home to a note on my door saying they were at my house at 2pm. After calling I leaned that there was no "after 5" option. And the only delivery window they have is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. I was also told you can "suggest" a more narrow window but it would likely be ignore (literally theses words from their customer service department!) Since I needed water seemed my only option was to take a day off work. They rescheduled me for Tuesday (the following day). Tuesday comes and I sit at home waiting around. It is now 4:45 so I decide to call. Turns out the had rescheduled my delivery and failed to inform me of this!!! I ask the reasoning behind being rescheduled and they say there is no reason! I ask why they didn't call to inform me of this? They say sometimes we try to let our customers know. SOMETIMES. They clearly could care less about my time as they just cost me a days pay check- and I'm supposed to be paying them! I give it one more chance. I reschedule for the following day. Wednesday. I couldn't take another day off work so I ask if they can either A. Leave everything on my porch or B. Call be 5 min before arrival (I work down the street from my house) so I can come home and unlock the door. Over the phone they tell me yes they can do one of these options and she lets me know she noted it down. Wednesday comes, im at work and receive no phone call. At this point I'm assuming they just decided to leave it on the porch. I come home to nothing. I call yet again to an unsympathetic customer services operator who basically just canceled my account. They needed no explanation, gave no options to fix it. I had to call to follow up as no one even called. 3 days in a row no one showed up. They just pushed me out to the next day. Then when you call the customer service line? This company was a pain to deal with. We are a business in the Marysville area. They refused to pick up empties and dispenser. when I closed account. So, the only way out is to personally deliver the empties and dispenser to them in person at some Sacramento industrial location. I did and was told I was paid in full with no pending concerns. That was back in early 2015! Today I received a collection call for unpaid "late fees" of $74. They are running a scam on old accounts. Do Not do business with them. Admittedly I have never left a yelp review, and quite frankly I have had some great service at many establishments that probably deserved a glowing review. However sadly it was the worst service I have ever received that has prompted this review. This "service" truly deserves to have a negative rating. I signed up through Costco, who's many services from travel to car buying I have no issues with. So I was actually excited that they offered a bottom loading cooler and distilled water, and that being affiliated with Costco seemed like the perfect fit for me. Even though I was given the awful delivery window of 8 am to 9 pm, I took the day off work and patiently waited. Even Comcast gives better appointment windows than that. At around 4:30 I started to get a bit suspicious that nobody was going to come. I called into the customer service line and was ensured by a very sarcastic gentleman that this distributor was having some delays and had to reschedule me for Friday. While I was quite frustrated I decided to give them a second chance and took another day off on Friday to wait for my delivery. Meanwhile I also left several messages with the route manager asking very nicely to return my calls, so that i could verify they were actually going to show up. I received radio silence. Today (being the Friday in question) I waited till about 10:30 AM to call and just double check my delivery. I was assured yet again that they were going to be here and that they would leave a message to have them call to tell me they were on their way. Again at around 4:30 I began to realize they probably were not coming. I called yet again and was told they were "reshuffling routes" and that they should be here by at least sometime Saturday. Needless to say I was done! I was yet again given the run around about how busy they are and how they are trying to catch up. Yadda Yadda Yadda I told them that if they could not get the water cooler delivered today I was going to cancel my service (that hadn't even started). She tried calling route manager herself and couldn't get a hold of them. So long post short I CANCELED IT!!! If you are the route manager or someone in charge at this facility I really hope you read through this. This is a terrible way to treat customers! Being busy and understaffed should not be a reason to call your customers and let them know you wont be making a delivery window!
