I'm always down to try new Pho spots. I saw this place on a IG post and had to try it especially with the Waygu and Short Rib pho. The place was inviting with an all white interior, compared to the previous seafood spot which was kinda dim. The Waygu and Short rib was tender and delicious, but if you're looking for authentic Vietnamese pho flavor I felt it lacked it. The fries with fish sauce I think is just a gimmick and wouldn't justify the $10 for the string fries, but atleast I can say I tried it. The service provided by Tammy was good and they have a Robo-busser which was cool. They also add an additional service tax as shown on the menu. So adjust your tip accordingly. read more

I've been to this location before with my parents and service then was alright, the servers forgot some items, but it was okay. My husband and I went on a Wednesday night, 12/13/2023, and upon walking in, we only had to wait for 2-3 minutes before we were seated. Once seated, a server came and got us water then asked if we wanted to order, so we ordered one Pho Xe Lua, one Pho Sướng, and chicken wings. The food came relatively quickly, and in no time, we were finished. I decided to subtract a star due to the customer service and overall ambiance of the restaurant. My mom, grandma and I randomly came across this restaurant while we were shopping in the area. We were seated quickly, served water and our order was taken soon after. The inside is such a vibe. Very clean and cute. We all ordered the Pho with thin noodles. Your garnishes (basil, sprouts, lime, etc) come out on a little robot machine which is neat haha there was another table's garnishes on it tho so it was a little confusing and we started taking it too until the waiter came over with our main dish and let us know the 2nd garnishes was someone else's. I came by for the grand opening today and there was a wait before getting seated. I ordered the pho suon bo, fish sauce fries, herbal tea, and the matcha coconut drink. The pho was super good, the broth was flavorful and tasted clean. The short rib was tender and fell of the bone. The portion was pretty filling and I saw you can get free refills on the thin noodle. The fish sauce fries was addicting, it came with a lot of fries and tasted a bit sweet. The matcha coconut drink reminded me of the matcha drink from cococane. It was refreshing and on the sweeter side with a strong matcha flavor. You can also get a free herbal tea by checking in on Yelp. The drink was surprisingly good, and it came in a cute cup. I really wanted to love this place. Been hoping for a quality, yet modernize pho restaurant since Sup and Redbo closed. Went here around 2pm so the restaurant was not full-however the estimated wait time was 20-30 minutes. This may be due to shortage of server; there was only 2 male server and another male, possibly manager, behind the counter preparing the food. Asked if they would serve outside since we have a dog and there's tables but they said no. We weren't offer takeout so went to the car and tried to order online but there's no order out option for the Cerritos branch. Went back inside and had to wait a good 10 minutes until one of the server offered support. Definitely not good service compare to what others had to say on Yelp. Got their special "xe lua" combination and egg rolls. Waited and after 30 minutes was told the egg rolls were sold out and offered substitution, which we opted for the fish sauce fries. Packing was clean and organized. The fish sauce used was more marinated, not the raw straight out of the bottle so Ian assuming the perfume looking fish sauce bottle in these yelp images are their means of storaging it-not exactly original fish sauce bottle or brand. The fish sauce taste identical to the ones the that Vietnamese/pho restaurant uses for their glazed chicken wings-a but sweet but savory. Pho-they only offer the skinny type of noodles versus some other authentic places that would offer the "fresh" thicker wider noodles. Broth was alright-not as bold and flavorful as I would expected; however this may be due to fusion aim of this restaurant. Definitely not authentic original style Vietnamese pho. Overall it wasn't anything that "wow" me. For nearby, I'd go with the other ones like Pho Tasty. For authentic traditional pho, I'd say PhoHolic or Pho flavor in Orange County.
