Visited this lovely little pho spot this past Sunday. As soon as you walk in you add your self to the waitlist on the iPad. As expected there was a little wait ( since it was the weekend). With how many customers there were the wait time to be seated wasn't bad at all ( 15 mins passed and we were seated. Their menu consisted of class pho options , pho premium options and a few non pho items. We went for pho so I ordered Pho Bo VIEN and fiancé pho Suon Bo. The broth was savory and meatballs were very tasty and fiancés pho came with 2 generous sizes of short rib on the bone ( the meat literally just falls off the bone). Each pho order also comes with unlimited thin noodles! We didn't partake in this as the serving the pho came with was just the perfect amount for us We also tried the garlic Parmesan wings. The cute little robot brought this to our table , so cute ! Very tasty and seasoned perfectly . Chicken was juicy and came with 3 different dipping sauces . The herbal iced tea was so refreshing and not too sweet. Went here during lunch. Place was moderately busy but seemed a little short staffed. They have a robot named Petunia that delivers food to tables but not the pho, which was a little disappointing. I ordered the Filet Mignon Pho, it was pretty good. I added some jalapeños and what tasted like Sriracha to add some kick. I'm by no means a pho connoisseur, but it seemed above average. We also ordered the spring rolls and the fish sauce fries. I thought the peanut sauce for the spring rolls tasted good and I even dipped the fries in it. The fries were good as well, but very rich--it was difficult to eat many of them at a time. My cup was unfortunately dirty when they served me water, which was a little gross/off-putting. Man, I never thought I'd be leaving such a review for this place let alone this location but we go. Upon entering, clearly the restaurant was packed and almost every table was filled. When I see something like this, I immediately know not to expect much from staff in regards to service because lets me realistic, they got a lot going on. Our server, I believe the receipt said his name was John, was absolutely incredible. He was an all in one type of guy. Within like 7 minutes we received extra glasses of water, our eggrolls, and our pho toppings. He even checked in with us to make sure things were going well. It started off really promising. Then he vanished from the store. I assume he went on lunch. No problem everyone deserves a break. The issue was that the rest of the staff didn't check in with us afterwards... like at all in any capacity. My boyfriend and I needed a refill for water, completely ignored. We wanted to order some more noodles, completely ignored. Plenty of servers passed by us and not a single person helped. It got to a point where our broth was cold. I had to push the bowl away from me to hammer in the idea that we just wanted to pay and leave. A woman finally approached us mentioning the check :( salt to the wound, man. Ignored until we gotta pay. It didn't help that the store had significantly cleared out so it felt like we really were forgotten by the staff. My boyfriend and I went down the monotone route in regard to our attitude and tone because what a way to burn a bridge with regulars. The server tried to overcorrect offering to add our phone number in to receive an appetizer next time we stopped by but honestly after this I think I'm good. The Fullerton location treated us abysmally last time we visited and now here? If you want good pho, this is the place to go but service really can be hit or miss. It's always clean too. First, this place is genuinely beautiful in decor and presentation and if you love BTS and weird friendly delivery robots and the good fortune money cat and but blue vases, this is going to be a whole thing for you. SECOND! The fish sauce fries are exceptional. Order them immediately. I CANNOT stress this more than anything meaningful in existence: it might be better than breathing. Ignore the ketchup they bring with them -- it is presented as an option but using it is a mistake you will only make once before the flavor tells you to stop. Ketchup bad. Eat the fries. They're sticky, use the chopsticks. Or don't, I'm not your dad. I carry hand sanitizer. The pho itself is good. Tender brisket (that's what I had, there are other options), decent broth, and they offer unlimited thin noodle refills which is a genuine differentiator. My palate runs on the refined side and I have had stronger broth elsewhere at a place with a name that was a very bold pun, but I can see how this place earns its rating with a broader audience. The fries however are transcendent and are carrying significant statistical weight in that star count. I think I would die for those fries. I accidentally dropped one and I'm sure I died a little inside. It fell out of my mouth and I never felt so betrayed by my lips before. The menu is surprisingly constricted for a restaurant that presents itself as a destination pho experience. I was expecting more range. I mean, there's options. Don't get me wrong. There's an option that has all the meats and one that has none of the meats, but it felt weird that it was a single sheet type of place, ya know? I was not expecting Thai tea. You do you. Cashless. Phone-based payment. Fine operationally. The delivery of this information at the table after getting water and settling in has a particular energy to it that I will leave to your own interpretation when you arrive. We told our waiter we were new to the restaurant. The experience was slightly off in ways that are difficult to isolate individually but consistent throughout the visit. I will leave that there. The broth is the foundation of pho and it was okay. The fries are not okay -- they are the reason to return. I am well aware that the only picture I shared is of the fries. If I never take a picture again, I am glad the last photo I took is of the fries. But the noodle refills are a genuinely good deal. read more

This pho restaurant is amazing and is one my favorite places to get quality pho in the OC area. We have already come here twice in the past week since it has been so cold outside. This review is going to be of both experiences. First of all, I want to state how fast the service is . They got us seated so quickly and all the staff are attentive. We got two different appetizers. The egg rolls and the Parmesan chicken wings. Egg rolls were really crispy and are made with a different type of batter that you usually don't see at other restaurants. It comes with lettuce, pickled veggies, and noodles that you can make into a wrap with! The chicken wings were also good, not much Parmesan flavor, but the dipping sauces made up for it. All of the pho was delicious. It always comes out piping hot and the meat are all so tender. The broth is so flavorful and comforting on a cold day. The free unlimited extra on the side is such an icing on the top. I love my noodles chewy and so the side of noodles are even chewier than the ones that come in the pho! Don't forget to check in to get a free herbal tea! Also, make an account with them to get yourself a free appetizer. Overall a very solid spot, I can see why it's well rated. The staff are quick and they even use a cute robot to bring the extra noodles. And extra noods for free, that's a great gimmick. They have a free drink if you check in with yelp, another great gimmick. The resturant is typical clean asian style modern designed place. It's definintely not a mom and pop shop. They go a bit heavy on the fish sauce, so if you love fish sauce then this is your spot. I think in the future I'll try to see if I can get less fish sauce. Otherwise their meat is solid, the noodles are good and broth is pretty good. Not my favorite pho place but for what they do it's pretty great. read more
