    General Gaus Chicken

I purposely went out of my way on Saturday to have dinner here with my family. We were kind of in the area, but I definitely diverted from I-93. I went here years back so I wanted to see if they still had it. Street parking is the best bet and you could get lucky like we did with a spot on the same street. If you don't mind a walk there seemed to be plenty of open meters on Main Street. We arrived at 6pm and it was busy but still plenty of tables. The decor was cute and our waiter was so attentive. The food came out hot, quick, and everything was delicious. We ordered the sampler, pork lo mein, general gao's chicken, an order of the crab Rangoon, and crispy chicken wings. My kids loved everything too, which was a major win. Everything had flavor and both the wings and general gao's chicken were crispy, despite it having sauce. The crab rangoon was crispy and full of crab inside so that was a huge plus. The food was so good that I'd do it all again. I truly cannot wait to go back!

ehhhh. this place used to be great, not so much anymore. ordered a bunch of stuff. the salt and pepper soft shell crab was tasty, just wish the peppers and stuff were on the actual seafood instead of under it. it could have definitely used more crab considering it was almost 30$ for the app. the crispy duck was dry dry dry-extremely overcooked. the wraps it comes with were dry as well- not impressed at all. the general gau chicken was good actually i liked the flavor and the little bit of kick it had. although, very salty and i woke up the next day feeling like i was hungover (from all the salt and msg). the sushi roll was fine, can't really mess up a basic roll. the miso soup and edamame were fine too, hard to mess it up! the service was good, our waitress was soo nice! i just wish they would be more reasonable with the prices to reflect on the portions and the quality of the food, as the portions were lacking & the quality of some of things we ordered were not amazing or worth the price.

The sushi here is superb. We had the Scallop Rock & Roll specialty to start along with the Sea to You - both were delicious. I liked the Scallop one best because it is topped with melted cheese. The waitress recommended the Torched Salmon Maki and we had to try it after the first two rolls exceeded our expectations and I am glad we did. The Torched Salmon was warm and filled with flavor. I would go back and order all of the same rolls again. The staff is attentive and they all work together to provide the best service. We did not get any cocktails but the restaurant does appear to have a full bar. There is plenty of seating and this place is located in the popular part of Medford among other great restaurants. There was plenty of street parking but there is also a small lot across the street.

The food, service, and ambiance was amazing. I will say, however, that their drinks aren't that great. Every time I go there, I get a different Polynesian cocktail, and I'm never happy with any of them. My boyfriend feels the same. This in no way deters me from dining there, however! The food is terrific!

I come here often and every time I enjoy myself Food- always very solid and a good portion. This time I got the lamb chops and omg- Amazong Service- I enjoying sitting at the bar and have good services. Sometimes I sit at a table if I want a little more intimate experience and the waitstaff is always friendly and helpful Ambiance-they brought back Saturday night jazz and it was such a treat for a Saturday evening Make sure to try the lychee martini I will return and recommend others to do so

All Seasons Table is a great spot to grab a late night dinner and drink. The service is always great and I've never felt rushed even when it's near closing time. The menu has a wide variety of options and the staff offers creative alternatives/substitutions for dishes if you have an allergy. On my visit this past Saturday there was even live jazz.

You are limited to 4 items from that tier per person, so it's not unlimited but you will still get your $$ worth. The diamond tier can you get 1 more item but seems a little overkill. Service and vibe is still amazing. Appetizers are tasty. Fish is fresh. Sashimi slices are just a bit thick. You order the platinum plus items with the server and the rest is through the online portal. The one thing you have to understand is that the food portions are not designed to be AYCE. They are full size orders! There is a time limit but do not make the mistake of over ordering with your eyes if you feel pressured.

They served me the platinum options first and then provided the gold menu. I enjoyed trying a handful of option on theur menu that I don't think I would have if I was doing a la carte. Like their freshwater seaweed salad (which was a bit underwhelming) and their eel toast (which was pretty good) and their crispy tuna (also a bit mid). I also went for their Thai green tea which I felt was too floral to be enjoyable. So while I enjoyed trying new options I don't think I loved any of them. I also have to say their sashimi and nigiri options are not buffet sized but actual entree sized so be cautious when ordering. That being said the waitresses were attentive and I never felt rushed. However, something to flag is they calculate the total of everything you are during the buffet and not the buffet price and base gratuity on that. I didn't look before tipping and after I left I was quite confused on why the bill was higher than I expected.

**November 2025: Saturday Night Visit**…read more My friend and I had been driving all day and were staying at the Hyatt Medford Hotel just down the street. The Medford/Boston area seemed to all have limited parking so we were looking for a dinner option that didn't require us to drive since we were sick of circling around. Matsuba Izakaya was just a 5 minute walk away from the hotel so we we braved the cold for some delicious food. When we arrived at the restaurant we were escorted toward the back of the restaurant which was very warm and inviting. I ordered the mini omakase for $55 and was super impressed with the presentation and variety of seafood. I was presented a box of 9 different seafood offerings: uni, toro, salmon belly, fish liver, raw shrimp & fried shrimp head tempura, scallops. yellowtail, and squid. The uni and toro were fantastic, and I enjoyed everything else except for the salmon belly. For some reason the salmon belly wasn't ultra creamy - maybe it wasn't thawed enough, which is a shame because I love salmon sashimi. Nevertheless, for the presentation and price I was really impressed with the variety. It also came with a miso soup which really warmed me up quickly.
