Best Pad Thai in the area. I drive from Somerville specifically for their Pad Thai. Perfect mix of tofu, shrimp and chicken. A few friends and i went here based on the recommendations here. i wish the place said classy since dressed in basic jeans and tees, we sort of felt underdressed! Apart from that, the food was amazing! the sushi was superb, fresh and really good. My friend ordered fish in pepper sauce - it was really tasty and the sauce had the hint of pepper you rarely find. We ordered the Fried Bananas with Ice Cream for desert, and it was heaven! The waitress was very courteous and pleasant, service was excellent, food was on time. 10/10! It feels like you're in the city without having to go into the city. The food is absolutely outstanding, the staff is great, the ambiance creates that 'night out' feel that you're looking for without having to go too far. We sat at the far end of the sushi bar near the jazz band. The sushi chef's were very polite, and were totally accomodating, and the music was a great bonus. We spent hours upon hours there ordering as much eclectic sushi as we could, and the chefs were eager to please. We were surprised at how reasonable the bill was, considering how much we ate. Okay so the location isn't the greatest. As you drive down the alley and see shady stores left and right you may think you are lost. You aren't. Fear not - good food awaits. Yes, it is one of those asian restaurants frequented by mostly white people, but good food is good food. Try the spicy edamame. So. Good. I usually don't order edamame but the seasoning on these things is amazing. In fact, I think the official name of the seasoning is amazing-sauce. For appetizers, I like the cockles (spicy basil sauce). As for their rolls, true love roll wins it for me (scallop + yellowtail = yum) For entrees, I like their steamed whole fish, crispy duck, and crispy lobster. Visited on a Wednesday night and it was packed. Tables near the bar area are so close to each other that i felt as if i was sitting on top of the couple in the table next to me. I ordered the spicy edamame and lobster maki. The edamame was good and the only saving grace of the night meanwhile the maki roll was bland I've had better for less. Boyfriend is picky so he had the special fried rice and fried calamari. Both dishes were sooooooooooooo bland and really not worth it. But i would say the worst part of the night was the slow service. They were cordial enough but a 20 min wait just to pick up the credit card and another 20 mins to get it back was excessive. Maybe ill try it again maybe not. I've had better for less! read more

We went for New Year's Day late lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The food was really good--calamari but tempura style with a tasty sauce. Lo Mein Noodles because it is New Years and my hubby got the Kung Pao Lamb--great dish. The atmosphere is much nicer than your typical Chinese restaurant. We asked for chopsticks because there were only forks and knives as a setting. I think it caters mostly to the non-Asian crowd though I saw many Asians there, myself included. I would recommend it. This place is F#@*^ng amazing. I can't describe how awesome all the food was unless you go there. I'll admit the parking sucks (its best to park at a garage down the street to the left) and their service is kinda weak since they have a very heavy Chinese accent, but the food was in my opinion, reasonably priced, quick to come out, and the drinks were very smooth!!! read more

My wife and I have been here many times, and we think this is the best Asian restaurant in the area. When you arrive, you are greeted with wonderful aromas of peppers, vegetable, tea, and other good things. The food is always good, and so is the service. It can be noisy when it is crowded, and the acoustics are not good, but it's an outstanding place to eat and relax. read more

I wanted to go to enjoy a cocktail and some live jazz. The live jazz was wonderful, however, the crowd was not. It had a distinct "meat market" feel. And everyone was talking so loud, you couldn't focus on the music. There were some older women near me, who were obnoxious. Women who should have known better, but all they did was complain about the music interfering with their ability to talk to each other....cackling, was more like it. I did see some wonderful looking dishes go by and I would like to go another night when it is less hectic, perhaps a Monday or Tuesday. The jazz is Thursday-Saturday I was told, but if the noise is going to drown out the nice music, then there's no point in going for the jazz. I'll try the food another time. Food Was terrible new years eve. Spent whole new.yrs day in bathroom. Chixn fingrs dried up. Only 4 spare ribs on the Bone for $9 also dried up with no meat. Service: Poor Food: Hit and Miss I went out to dinner with a reservation made with a group of my friends last night, a Sunday night. Off the bat, the waitress miscounted the number of waters vs the number in our group. But she did apologize. But then a friend found a fruit fly in her water...she decided to not make a scene and asked the waitress to change her glass of water. It took some time because the waitress forgot about the glass of water. We ordered some sushi, makimono, sashimi, and chinese entrees. My selection was the Chiefs Boat and everything was really fresh and delicious. The sashimi was fresh and sushi had a good balance of rice vs fish. On the other hand, a friend ordered salmon sashimi and makimono but was not so lucky. Her sashimi was still frozen and could be tasted. Her unagi makimono was not cooked. When she told a water that her sashimi had a frozen taste to it, he seemed puzzled at first and then suggested to redo it. My friend stated she didn't want salmon sashimi anymore, and would try tuna sashimi instead. The waiter made it a point that she would have to pay the difference. Another friend ordered a lamb entree and stated that it was overly salty from the sauce. Throughout the process it was pretty hard to catch a waters attention. Please reconsider your choice of going to a place with bad customer service and a gamble on seafood. read more

Showed up at 10:15 pm when everywhere online it says they close at 11p. The refused to seat us and insisted they were closed.

Went here for the first time this past weekend and like others, was pleasantly surprised. Malden isn't known for its culinary expertise! I had the vermicelli Vietnamese style salad which was light and tasty and my sister had the fresh bamboo and chili something or other with pork. My sister prefers nose-running hotness when it comes to food and asked the waitress for extra spicy. Instead of just agreeing with her and piling it on the waitress suggested she bring the spice on the side so that my sister could add as much as she wanted which I thought was a nice touch. The place was packed when we got there at 7 and remained busy until we left after 9 (we dilly dallied - it didn't take that long for service). We were told 20 minute wait and it was less than 10 and the waitress was on top of things. The best part is that we had two drinks each (just beer) and the entrees and the whole bill came to just over $40. Not too shabby for a dinner out! Absolutely LOVE this place. I work in Malden so a bunch of us go out after work sometimes for a cocktail or two - this place has become our staple. Inviting warm decor, outstanding service at the bar (bartenders (Harvey in particular!) are one of the restaurants greatest assets), wonderful cocktails and food. I have been there over 10 times and I don't think I have ever tried food that I didn't like. Definitely be sure to try a Frenchtini and the Idaho Maki! Lettuce wraps also excellent! YUM! read more

They rock. A little hidden, good sized bar with great service for waiting when it is busy with a great drink menu. The decor is nice and modern. The menu is pretty lengthy and has something for everyone. We've been a few times and love it. One night some friends of ours were raving about the premium saki flights though we haven't tried them. The mongolian lamb dinner is superb, as was the lady in red roll, (blue crab tempura layered with tuna). The drunken chicken noodles are also great. Highly recommended. read more

I've been coming here for over two years and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food, the great service and lively atmosphere. Truly is a great restaurant. The wait staff are wonderful, they never rush have always brought out everything as exactly ordered. The food is fresh and tasty. There is something for everyone on the menu and the prices are very reasonable. I do think they make one my favorite dirty olive martini's, chilled just right. Great appetizers. Portions are big, great to share with someone else. Crispy aromatic chicken and Chile garlic pork were delicious. Drunken noodles were clumpy and not very crisp as described on menu but still had a great flavor. Server was also very attentive and friendly. The menu also has a large variety of dishes, so that everyone in your group should have no problem finding something they like. I highly reccomend All Seasons Table. This restruant has an amazing menu featuring several different types of asian cuisine. The sushi is really some of the best I've had, and by far the best quality for the price. Any time my girlfriend and I go to another sushi restraunt we find ourselfs comparing it to AST. Given the fact that I'm a vegetarian, I can only comment on their vegetarian dishes, but I can confidently tell you that you won't be disappointed with any vegetarian dish you choose to order.
