Best pizza we've had so far in the area, staff was friendly and helpful. Outdoor seating area was really nice as well. Ice cream was good too, the dark chocolate was a favorite of ours. This place gets busy quick, we arrive at 4pm not knowing they opened at 430pm so we waited in our car and eventually had to get out and wait by the door because several people were showing up too. While we sat there eating at least 25 cars came and parking lot was packed when we left.

Got a simple cheese pizza before a concert next door. Not a ton of options but a few basic pies and beer. Nice, convenient location and found easy parking. The service was grab a number at the counter and seat yourself . Several servers running pizza to outdoor seating. We beat the dinner rush and got our food pretty quickly.

Every pizza I ever tried from here tasted great !!!! We sit at the bar and get the honey pepperoni pizza with maybe a local beer. Followed by the best ice cream in Asheville. Free parking lot. Awesome pizza joint for dinner they open at 4:30 PM.

Headed to a show at the venue across the street, we arrived early to find some dinner. As we pulled into a parking spot on the street the bright yellow sign of All Souls Pizza caught our attention, and we knew we had found our dinner. We walked into a short line at the counter to place our order and then found seats. The interior is pretty plane, just simple decor. They had a small menu, which I'm sure helps expedite the kitchen process. But may be hard for pick eaters to find soemthing. Not wanting anything too heavy we just went with a classic cheese pizza and grabbed a couple of beers. The food came out pretty quickly and was brought to our table. The thin crust NY style pizza tasted great, though the edges got a bit toastier than I like, so the edge crusts weren't great. The overall experience was good. Service was friendly, as I mentioned the menu is a bit limited which may pose issues for some. But the food was quick, and decent quality, though it's a bit pricey. A good option if looking for something quick before a show.

After a bad experience with a fancy restaurant, I came here with my beautiful wife for just some tried and true pizza! The wood-fired pizza did not disappoint! The ingredients were nice and fresh, the staff was friendly and the pizza was pretty yummy! It saved our night after the bad experience we had at another spot. The bill was not very high and the food was satisfying! The staff were really nice even though it was late. I'd say this is a great spot if you've got a hankering for some good old pizza. It will not disappoint! Parking: there was plenty of parking! Seating: like you'd expect in a typical pizzeria nothing fancy but comfortable! I would definitely return here if I was in the area!!!

Was able to try their soft serve the other day and was pleasantly surprised. At seven dollars, eight dollars with tip. It was pretty pricey, but it tasted delicious. Their pizza is still a solid choice for the area. Absolutely love the outside seating for the warm season. The pizza itself is delicious. I like that. It's thin crust and has a diverse array of toppings. Of course they highlight a bunch of local stuff and quirky things. The more unique, the more you are going to pay. They do give a good amount of toppings and the sauce is delicious. One pizza is pretty good to share, but it's not a ton of food. The service is decent. The price is pretty crazy for what you get, but that's Asheville. Especially in a trendy location. I also like that they have beer and wine on the menu. And it's pretty walkable to the River arts district.

Decent pizza and service, the price is a little high for what it is and there are several better pizza places in the area. The outdoor dining was nice and the ice cream is great.

I'm really sad. This used to be my absolute favorite . Probably my last time going and I have been enjoying this place since day one. The massive amount of mushrooms makes the pizza impossible to pick up. Crust has changed. Quality not what it was. Staff is still great though.

If you're looking for unique, local pizza in Asheville, this is a great spot to go! My husband and I shared: - Pepperoni, Tomato Sauce, Banana Peppers, Mozzarella, Local Honey Pizza - House Kimchi, Mozzarella, Eggs Pizza Both pizzas were fantastic. If I had to pick between the two, I'd go with the kimchi one because it was so unique. They're only open for outdoor dining & takeout right now which I was fine with since I prefer to eat outside. We were able to find shade on the patio. My only complaint about this spot is that they don't name their pizzas, they just list every ingredient/topping. It's not a big deal, but having to list 5 ingredients when trying to order is annoying.

A new spot for us! Friends recommended it so off we went. We were starving so I forgot to photograph the soup we started with. Farro, kale, and turnip in what tasted like bone broth with a touch of lemon. Delicious!! And as you can tell from the photo, the pizza was spot on as well. I really wanted a soft serve cone we saw go by for dessert but shockingly it was $7. Maybe there is something special about it, but I just couldn't see what that may be so I skipped dessert.

Farm fresh salad..1st course on our progressive dinner tonight!

I was satisfied with the pizza but it wasn't anything to really rave over. The salad was big - mostly chopped lettuce (love that it was chopped already) topped with some cheese, olives, green peppers and tomato slices. I don't eat my salads soaked in dressing so there was enough dressing for me but it felt like the dressing cup wasn't very full if you do like a wet salad. Breadsticks were good and airy. Lots of cheese on top. I preferred the pizza over the breadsticks over the 2 visits I had 3 types of slices. For speciality slices they top a slice of cheese with the toppings then bake it so the toppings aren't baked down into the cheese. Still good. When I lived here years ago, we used this spot as a quick bite when we were out brewery hopping or pre gaming for a show. Huge inside with plenty of seating and some games. The Roman squares are made of a thick dough that looks like focaccia but is both lighter and crispier. They come in single 5" by 7" rectangles (spuntino, $8-$10), 5" by 13" pies (mezzo, $15-$19), or 9" x 13" party size portions (tutto, $30-$38). While you can build your own custom pizza, the default options include a Calabrian with pepper jam, a funghi & charred tomato, a sfincione with breadcrumb topping, a patate with potato cream, and a rotating special. A few dips, an arugula salad, cauliflower cacio pepe, and meatballs are also available. Wanting a few slices to commemorate Pi Day, my wife and I shared a Calabrian, a funghi & charred tomato, and a daily special. Ordering was easy, and Terra Nova's "green industrial" vibe (check out that moss wall) made for interesting ambiance. Our pizza was not cheap, but it was very satisfying, and Mission uses high-quality ingredients. The Calabrian offered a good combination of sweet and spicy while the funghi & charred tomato delivered creamy (ricotta) and smoky. The crust was done perfectly: crisp without being overly charred. There are many places in Asheville where you can grab a pizza and a beer, but none can offer you the same experience that Mission does. Unless you're a New York-style pizza purist, you owe it to yourself to give Mission a try.

I like the style of pizza and they have some interesting specialty pizzas. I just didn't love how the pizza we had only had a very small amount of cheese. It was also super messy, the pizza had breadcrumbs on top, which were good, but they went everywhere all over the table. We also tried the meatballs, which were good but nothing special. I am all about being eco friendly but the taste of the wooden fork ruined the taste of the meatball (not a fan of the popsicle stick type flavor when eating).

Almost every beer on the menu is a split batch fermented with two different yeast strains to showcase the resulting differences. It's a great concept, even if you're not into brewing. In terms of the food, it seems like the really leaned into providing something good, well-balanced, and sometimes takes advantage of the yeast and beer being cultivated on site. I had a house salad and some dilly beans for lunch. The house salad was fresh and extremely well balanced. I'm glad they had something vegetable centric available. The dilly beans were good, but quite a bit for a single human. They're probably the type of thing you would want to split among friends. I actually showed up for an event in the evening where they served pizza using dough fermented with one of their yeast strains. That was truly excellent. Nicely balanced, not over the top, with a deeply flavorful crust. If you're in Asheville, I would consider this a must visit destination.

We had some time to kill before our reservation so we went down to the speakeasy for a few and then up to the rooftop. Each area had different drinks so of course I had to order one from each. I was drinking mocktails btw. Not sure if the alcoholic options were different. My most favorite was the corn silk. It's seasonal though. We finally made it to our table and I was welcomed with a card signed by everyone and fresh flowers on the table. Since we did wait past our reservation time, we received complementary bread service which was homemade focaccia with marigold butter. Definitely recommend; it was amazing. I also received a birthday gift of veggies - okra and shishito peppers, I believe. I LOVE veggies so this was special to me. But then I also got the most amazing soft serve of corn and peppers with a tomato jam. Aside from it being my birthday and all the special things we got, the food was also amazing. We got the bone marrow tots to share, then I got the campanelle pasta. I forgot what my husband got but everything was just so so so sooooo amazing!! Our server was also amazing too. It's like everyone we met was just so happy we were there. And it was a genuine happy too. I felt so welcome there and we loved it so much we came back the next night too. I had to try the chanterelle mushroom gelato, but was too full the first night so I got it the second night along with more corn silk. The gelato was amazing btw. I don't think I've ever had chanterelle mushrooms, but now I can wait to eat them. We're home now but we are already planning our next trip back and would like to stay at the hotel next time. So we walked into Luminosa underdressed, absolutely soaking wet, and looking like we had just been rescued from a shipwreck. This is a really nice restaurant, so at this point I was pretty convinced either we weren't getting seated or my friends were going to spend the rest of their marriage talking about the dinner I ruined. I explained the situation to the staff and they could not have handled it better. No judgment, no making us feel out of place, nothing but an insane level of hospitality from the second we walked in. They even sent out a few dishes on the house. Our server Riley was phenomenal. Riley knew the menu inside and out, gave us all the information we needed without overexplaining everything, and never steered us wrong once. We basically put our dinner in Riley's hands, and that was probably the biggest reason the meal turned out as well as it did. And the food was fucking incredible. Not "we're drunk on a wedding weekend and everything tastes good" incredible. Every single one of us said it was one of the best meals we've ever had. And I don't say that because my culinary experience is limited to Applebee's and the Cheesecake Factory. I went to probably half the restaurants on the Michelin Guide while I was in Asheville, live in Atlanta where I've eaten at plenty of Michelin-recognized restaurants, and have been fortunate enough to eat at Michelin restaurants outside the US. Luminosa was still one of the best meals I've had anywhere. I walked in thinking I had completely screwed up dinner and walked out looking like a genius for picking the restaurant. I will be taking full credit for that and giving none to the tornado or Riley.
