Unfortunately the crust was 90% burnt, which detracted from the flavor of the pizza, also making it difficult to chew. This was not my experience with pizza in NYC. There was anywhere to park without walking half a mile to the pizza place. * this entire storefront holds three parking spaces. Everything else is street parking and good luck. 3. More staffing; it's pretty clear when you arrive, they do not have the staff to accommodate the influx of people. These are the facts. I'm coming into this review with not one, but TWO Allday experiences (and a different pizza each time, nonetheless). Each time I was totally blown away. The quality of the pizza is phenomenal. While it feels just a bit more pricey than a lot of their competitors, it's definitely made up for with the quality of the dough and ingredients. Both times my friend and I split a large, and found ourselves eating the entire thing. The employees taking our order were also super kind, and the speed of service was solid as well. Situated next to Flo's Wine Shop, this pizza place is absolutely amazing. Served NY style thin crust pizza, the crust was perfectly thin and crispy and the sauce to topping ratio is great. The straticella was my favorite as the cheese is slightly creamier than mozzarella but not as creamy as burrata and perfectly balanced with acidity of the tomato sauce. The cacio e pepe was slightly heavy for me and wish the black pepper shined through. The real surprise for me was how much I enjoyed the tomato pie! The lemon almost like bread crumbs on top added a nice brightness and crunch to the pizza and was so yummy! As a vegetarian even with just 2-3 options to choose from, they do their vegetarian slices well. Service was quick as it is order at counter and they bring it to you - even with the line it moved pretty fast. We went on a Saturday and the line was about 10 people deep, but we got our pizza within 20 minutes which I thought was pretty good. Has mainly covered outdoor patio seating, but does have seats inside in Flo if you order a drink and you can bring your pizza inside to drink. Parking wise it is across from Camp Mabry and there was free street parking on one side on Pecos Street. We got the 6 size sampler (5 slices and get one free making it 6) and it fed two of us well. I personally don't think one slice is big enough for a meal so would recommend minimum two slices for meal. read more

Please note Flo's Wine Bar is a separate business from All Day, but they are just so perfectly partnered. From New York and Connecticut, these slices of pizza were wonderful. Perhaps unpopular opinion, but better than Home Slice. Crust was perfect thickness, allow for an easy fold while reserving a light crunch. The crust to sauce ration was even and the creativity of the different flavors hit the palate so well. There's an everything but bagel seasoned pizza...like what?! And YES it is good. The sample of slices we got were all vegetarian, due to a Lenten Friday, and they included: Stracciatella, Cheese, Everything Bagel, Tomato Tomatoe, Cacio e Pepe, and Spicy Margh. All good, but if I had to choose a favorite it would be the Tomato Tomatoe. We will be back to sample the meat options and we'll be adding the soft serve ice cream, and then the next time trying the Olive Oil Cake! The Caesar was also pretty solid. Dare I say, better than Sammie's... Lastly, Soft-Serve and even better...it's gelato. All of this, conveniently located in one spot. I want to give this place the benefit of the doubt because the pizza was really good. But was it worth an almost hour wait for two slices? No, it wasn't. I heard they had an issue with the receipts and didn't know who ordered what. If they could have communicated that to people, I'd be more understanding. My friend who ordered a whole pie of different slices device buzzed before mine did. I felt like they were prioritizing those who ordered whole pizzas. I went with her to see why mine hadn't buzzed and they were like it's coming. I saw two slices which I figured were mine, but my device didn't buzz for several other minutes. There was also a decent amount of people waiting for their pizza too. It was frustrating too since the staff didn't really make eye contact with any of us. I assume it's because they were overwhelmed. The pizza place is connected to a winery and there's decent seating but it gets pretty crowded. It's also really loud and I couldn't hear my friends on the other side of the table. I ordered two slices: Straccietella and sweet sausage. Both slices were good, a little oily. This place will survive on location alone. Went last night, stood in line for 40 minutes. I'm totally cool with lines; most of the best pizza places in NY and CT, you'll have a line. Proceeded to order two large cheese pizzas. Nothing fancy, they said 30 min. Okay, watching everyone else who was after us get their pizzas as almost 60 minutes went by, I went up and asked the guys if we were next. One rudely yells, "It's in the oven!" while the other tells me that we ordered two large pizzas, which is why it was taking so long. Silly me, ordering two pizzas at a PIZZA place. Absolutely love the by-the-slice option as it doesn't chain you to one pie. Went on a double date here and got the sweet sausage, new buffalo chicken pie, spicy marg, chicken cutlet plate, and some affogato! All of the food was delicious but man did they hit it out of the park with their new Brown Butter Buffalo Chicken pizza and their blue cheese ranch! Their chicken cutlet was also phenomenal, very crispy, perfect thickness, and a huge portion! The salad that was paired with the cutlet was also great and tied in with the crispy cutlet perfectly. Came here after visiting Sammataro (now rebranded to La Volta) and learning that Allday was a spinoff after some drama between the owners. Sammataro was my absolute favorite slice in Austin, so I was incredibly bummed to hear that there were some changes being made. My slices from Allday weren't as "crispy" as what I remembered Sammataro being but they were all still good and I'd happily return. OMG, if you haven't gone to check out ALLday pizza, this is your sign to go check them out! We stopped by this cute little spot in Tarrytown after our engagement shoot. Everything is ordered counter service, in the take-out window outside on the patio. When we ordered, we made the mistake of ordering one large pizza, not knowing how large these slices were. The sweet sausage pizza was more than enough for the two of us, and we had leftovers for about two days! When I tell you I think about this restaurant more than any other restaurant in Austin, I mean it. It's not pictured, but their stracciatella pizza is incredible. At $5-$6 a slice (and slices are HUGE) and the option to get a whole pie of different slices or get a whole pie of one kind, the possibilities are many. Their Caesar is unique, incredibly fresh, and I now crave it. Their soft serve gelato portions are HUGE (I recommend sharing) and the servers are friendly. First things things first, parking was only on the street so get ready to parallel park and walk up and down a huge hill!! And there's limited inside seating because they share a space with "Flo" the wine bar. So definitely come prepared to sit outside if you have a bigger group. They also do have bathrooms, which I couldn't find out from their pictures online so just wanted to put that here. Next, the food was beyond delicious!! It was actually recommended to me by a friend who's from the East coast and I thought to myself "well if they like it, it must be good!" and I did not stand corrected! The food was SO good! The Caesar salad top tier with the shaved parmesan, croutons, and topped crispy shallots. It was also perfectly dressed which is also what makes or breaks a salad for me. The pizza was so good too, I highly recommend the pepperoni and sausage. They don't necessarily go together/compliment each other which is fine, but it just surprised me when I was eating them together. So I just started eating one instead of switching off haha. I kinda went on a personal taste pallet tangent there. You still with me? Okay good because the review is still rolling. Finally...service and ambiance. Service was friendly and fast! Ambiance was very trendy and expensive. I definitely felt out of place and it was missing that Austin feel of "come as you are, dress how you want" vibes. It's a walk up pizza window attached to a very expensive wine bar in Tarrytown, so I guess it attracts a wealthier crowd. The pizza window is outside and accessible immediately upon walking up from the sidewalk. Small digs, but you can cozy up inside with some wine, or soak up the sun outside with your cute puppers (which many people seemed to do). Service is straight forward and friendly with pricing starts at $5.50 - $6 for each sizable slice of 'zza that truly treats the tastebuds to an exemplary experience. No lie, I started off by trying two different combos - the sweet sausage and the stracciatella, and ended up leaving with three more slices for the road. While this was definitely a larger splurge on pizza than I'd like to admit, I have no regrets and will definitely be back to split a big one (or two). read more

My friends and I ordered the sampler (made up of any six slices) so that we could each try a few kinds! My favorite was Sweet Sausage followed closely by the Stracciatella. Highly recommend pouring some hot honey over any of the slices! I was disappointed that they didn't have any Caesar Salad left, but will be back soon to try it. We ended our meal with gelato and chocolate chip cookies. First of all, I LOVE that you can buy by the slice. Allday's menu offers so many options that all sound delicious. My friend and I tried the pep & pep; pepperoni and pepperocinis. There's a little display window below where you order and I could tell immediately.. these are the good pepperonis. The ones that turn into little cups of crispy greasy deliciousness. We also ordered the olive oil cake which was surprisingly outstanding. We tore up our pizza then went back for some gelato. There's only 1 flavor of gelato: sweet cream, but they offer a bunch of toppings to make it your own. We are already planning our next trip back to try more of the pizza options! We actually had an Allday double header last week, when we were at this location one night and the Hyde Park location the second night. We met a couple friends here and we still pretty much really enjoy everything about this space--it's got a great vibe and friendly service, and unlike the other location, has plenty of seating! We had a great bottle of Lambrusco and then started with both of their salads. We've had the caesar several times now, so nothing new to say there, but we got the olive salad this time as well, and we are fans! Really loved the brininess and acidity and wish that it was also offered at the other location. We all shared the "sampler" pizza with each of the slices cut in half, which we definitely recommend as a strategy. We are still in love with the stratciatella, and the peppers & pepp is also really nice. The tomato tomatoe is interesting and you can't go wrong with the regular cheese. The soft serve is still out-of-this-world creamy, and with chocolate sauce and sprinkles....MWAH! Yes we griped about the prices last time, but we are really coming around to just hearting this place overall. Four stars. read more

A solid pizza place with a cute outdoor seating area! It shares a space with Flo's Wine Bar, so you can enjoy a glass of wine with some delicious pizza. The outdoor patio was spacious, and we had no trouble finding seating before the dinner rush. It started to get packed later on, but there are a good amount of seats. There's also a few seating indoors where you can order wine. I enjoyed the self-serve aspect where you can grab water, extra plates & utensils, to-go boxes, etc whenever you need it. A server dropped off a glass of water for our table too! The slices were big -- I was pretty much full after one and a half slices, so I think it was worth the price. We tried 5 speciality slices, and we got the 6th speciality slice for free. For pizzas, we got the stracciatella, pep & pepp, and spicy margh. I couldn't pick a favorite because they were all delicious. We wanted to try the sweet sausage slice, but they told us that they were reworking it so it wasn't available at the moment. Got slice of cheese as a litmus test and the daily special, can't say I get what all the hype is about. The slices look pretty on camera but the flavor just wasn't there. Ambience isn't great either, you're sitting a few feet away from a hot, busy road with trucks rolling off Mopac blowing their turbo-diesels and other cars ripping around. The opposite of relaxing. If I could give it 2.5 stars I would but since it's tipping toward 2 that's what I'll have to go with. read more
