Ridiculously good!! I called late morning for an appointment because our AC wasn't working. They sent a technician (Jesse) out to our home within 2 hours! He checked the system and within 20 minutes found out the issue (a blown part in the compressor) which apparently is fairly common. Furnace blower working intermittent a few second at a time. Got a recommendation from Next Door (Property Manager), called Alliance Wednesday morning and they would send someone out to take a look between 2-3PM. Gabriel showed up at 3:30. He trouble shoot and turned out to be the Controller. For my 17 yo Payne, it would be $2200 to replace. Long story short, I decided to replace the whole similar Payne furnace for $4700. They came out on Friday 9:30 AM with an 96% eff. Carrier (upgrade to my surprise). Gabriel even installed an exhaust cap on the roof (prevent rain water from seeping in) which my other installer did not. All done in a several hours and now I have heat. I am very happy with the experience from the beginning. We handled the paperwork at the end. I never have my AC serviced, he recommend I look into servicing the AC when the weather is a bit warmer. Since my furnace was old and was on top of the evaporator coil, it should be replaced too. I got a quote from each of the companies. Alliance gave a better price for a better brand of air conditioner and furnace than the other companies. They were able to replace the air conditioner and the furnace quickly. This winter, my Nest thermostat reported that the furnace was not working properly. Since Alliance is a family run business, I called the owner. We had a heater go out right when it got really cold outside. I called several companies and was told that they would get back to me. When I finally got someone to actually call me back, they came out and took a look at my old wall furnace and said they could either replace the control valve assembly for $1800 and give me no warranty, or replace the entire furnace for $3700 and give me a two year warranty on the parts. I thought that was a bit exorbitant so I made some additional calls. That's when I found Tom through an online ad. After speaking with him, we made an appointment for them to come out and take a look. Al and Gabe showed up later that day and told us that the unit we had was really old and parts were not even made for it anymore. I knew this to be true already as I had done some research on my own before they showed up. Turns out the company that made my wall furnace went out of business years ago. Al told me that they MAY be able to replace the control valve assembly if they could find a part that was compatible, but he really didn't recommend it as there may be problems with either installation or operation. He gave us a quote for replacing the furnace and it was significantly lower than the previous one we had received, and the warranty was better! Needless to say, we went with Alliance Air Services. They showed up a couple of days later with the new furnace and did the installation in just a few hours. They even did the modification to the flue as needed and didn't charge any extra. They cleaned up everything after they were done. The only way you would even know they had been there was because of the nice, new wall furnace. Am I happy? Yes! Would I recommend them to others? They wanted to charge me $300 for the service. My family paid $4,550 for the Furnice.. I had Gabrial at Alliance come out to mount furnace up under the house twice we paid $300 twice for each house call. Are furnace is only 1 " off the ground, It has enough room to go up higher by about 10". The bolts are barley on the rods. This company is taking advantage of old people like me, they do not think that I would check on there work, they were wrong. Alliance will not return my calls. read more

Thanks to Tom for his expert knowledge and timeliness. I have an old furnace and I was not ready to replace it just because of one failed part. Tom knew exactly what to look for and in what order to test components to find the problem. A knowledgeable technician is priceless, and I got off easy with a cheap part and a quick replacement. Plus, we didn't have to put another hunk of metal in the landfill before its time. I called several other places and got receptionists who were ready to schedule a visit, but I could not talk to any technician before the visit. I get that technicians are working and can't take every call, but Tom did, and he answered my questions, which I needed to ask to know that he was legit. I could tell on the phone that he had the right experience. I don't mind paying for services, but I don't want to pay for someone who's not right for the job. Tom, the owner, gave a thorough evaluation of our then current heating configuration and based on our needs, size of them home, and our preferences, recommended a Carrier Slimline and a Carrier heater. This guy is not a professional. He advertises on craigslist as well under phone number 408-796-2835. My AC unit stopped working. He came home and worked on it. Then told me the AC unit had blown capacitor that he replaced and he had to put in 5.4 pounds of Freon. He charged me 550 dollars. After I gave him the check, he says, he doesn't have invoice book and he will send the invoice later. After repeated requests he refused to send invoice but encased the check. My AC works but it doesn't cool much.The reason is he has not added Freon gas as he claimed which is the most expensive part of the repair. Last year during peak summer when the sun was scorching, all of a sudden my air conditioner stopped working. I looked at Yelp and called few technicians as I wanted to fix it ASAP because without that sleeping at night will be a nightmare as temperatures were 90+.
