If I could give negative stars I would. I'm assuming all of the good reviews are fake because this was such a horrible experience. This is going to be a long one... Baljinder was so unprofessional, at one point wouldn't even respond to me anymore and wanted to go through my husband for communication. Him and his workers left behind a slab of wood with a nail sticking out of it in our backyard. One of my sons stepped on it not knowing it was there and it punctured through his shoe and went through his foot. And if that isn't the most outrageous thing wait for it... him and his team also left behind the coil with fiberglass ripped open in our yard. We have 4 children all under 10. They left fiberglass ripped open!!! I was finding tiny cuts on myself and my children for 2 weeks after! Every time they came they never had enough tools to finish the job and had to come back. Never did they confirm when they'd come back, I had to constantly reach out to them. They ruined our floors with some kind of glue and when I told Baljinder he said it wasn't them, like who the hell was it? It wasn't there before they came and was when they left. Just outrageous. The worst part about all of this is the entire time I felt like Baljinder was scamming us. More and more things kept coming up that he said we HAD to replace. At one point he told us that there was a metal tray in the attic that was rusted and needed to be replaced which was going to cost $1,400. We had already paid $5,000 plus he added $900 and then he came up with something else to add another $1,400! At that point we asked him to stop. We had 3 other company's come to check out our a/c and ALL 3 said that the tray he was talking about was plastic, couldn't rust at all and didn't even need to be replaced. PLASTIC!!! He scammed us through the entire transaction and thought we were dumb enough to get another $1,400 out of us without getting a second opinion. At the end of it another a/c company got out a/c running for FREE, when Baljinder wanted another $1,400. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY. I have all of the pictures to prove everything I have said, they are just the worst. Please don't waste your time or hard working money on these scammers. UPDATING this review in response to Baljinder responding false information. When my son was hurt he acknowledged it was his team who left it behind from the previous a/c unit. IT DID BELONG THE THEM. Obviously the metal tray has a specific name but him and his guys all explained it as being a metal tray. LOL. We also don't owe any money whatsoever! We are owed $$ for the floors they damaged in our house. They owe us for all the cuts my children ended up with on their bodies from the broken fiber glass they left. And they owe us for all the time we wasted on them scamming us. In reality from all of the scamming they did they truly do owe us money. Also, my father in law doesn't live in Manteca which goes to show how much he really doesn't pay attention to his clients or even care about how he's treating them. DO NOT GO TO THEM. As you can see in his response to me he makes no effort as a business professional to make his wrong doings right. We needed an entire HVAC replacement and were also in the middle of an electric panel replacement. The owner (Baljinder) worked seamlessly and extremely efficiently in spite of the challenges that existed with the electricians. Baljinder at ACR is simply the best in every category you can think of - professionalism, speedy service, and outstanding value. Our A/C has been limping along for a couple years, we tried to fix, but finally concluded it was time to replace. We had already one quote that was a bit pricey, so I sent out a RFQ to Yelp and Baljinder was the first to respond. Throughout the replacement, his communication has been fast and professional. Our job was a little tricky due to the space and voltage constraints, but Baljinder found the best replacement for both air handler and condenser, which optimize the capacity. He also installed more convenient filter locations. When the day of installation came, it was time to pick up the unit - due to miscommunication from the provider, the expected unit was not in stock. Baljinder (literally) drove the extra mile to pick up a different unit, so that we could still have a new A/C on the planned day. All the ACR employees were professional and considerate of our space. Did all of this cost us more? Nope! Baljinder's quote was around 60% of the original pricey one. read more

Finally needed professional help, so i blasted out a quote for diagnostic fees to the yelp world. Baljinder responded instantly with a very competitive rate and was available within the hour. He came out, inspected my system, and quickly found the problem in that i ran out of freon. Baljinder refilled it at a reasonable cost, but also spent some time looking over the rest of the wiring and piping to make sure nothing else was a problem. A/C stopped working the previous night, in the AM I sent a mass quote to a few repairs shops on Yelp. Baljinder responded within a few minutes, and the price was good to come and check out ($75). Other offers that came in the $200 range just for checking what was wrong. Repair to fix was $375 to change the fan capacitor and to fill 1 lb of A/C refrigerant, quick and easy job. I had this company look at my Heat pump in January 2022. I called made appointment. He did not show. When I called he said he forgot and rescheduled. He came to look at the unit, replaced the blower motor and the unit worked again. In November 2022 the unit stopped working again (same symptoms. I called made an appointment. First he said he could come same day he just needed to finish a job. Then he called back and said he did not have a ladder (my unit is on the roof) so he needed to come in two days. He did not show. Replaced a capacitor and a switch of some sort and got AC working very quickly. However, switch replacement required another call next day for them to come back and fix it again. Our unit started acting up, not blowing as cold during the day but ice cold at night.
