I've been taking our vehicles to aloha for several years and enjoyed great service and honesty. I recently was there for an oil change and found out that they are under new ownership and management. It went okay but I just didn't drive away with the same feeling of trust I had in the past. For the most part, these guys are new and hopefully they will gain the same trust I had for the previous owner/mgmt/techs. Too early to judge because the jury is still out. read more

I went to Kwik Kar near Allen city hall to have the oil changed in my Odyssey and was told that it also needed a radiator flushed, which I declined, because the original radiator was replaced in late 2018. I bought the new radiator from Autozone on Main St., who also that lube center's diagnosis questionable. Per Autozone's referral, I'm getting the Odyssey's transmission flushed at Aloha, just east of Autozone. I find the lobby SPACIOUS & clean. The technician, Amir, listened to my issues & provided the wait time up front. Amir also explained what to look out for. While waiting in the lobby, I found this shop has a 4-star Yelp rating from 25 reviewers. Professional, courteous, proactive pricing, efficient and thorough repairs. I brought in my 2003 Trailblazer which suffered the effects of being sedentary and then driven. A water pump, master cylinder and inspection later, I sold the TB! Curiosity caused me to check other service providers. Not only did Aloha beat the price by several hundred dollars, said service providers would be taking at least 3-4 days. Aloha had the old girl ready for me the same day. The Technicians, the make ready men, the customer liaison work like a team. These are car guys. Huge difference in getting your car repaired and detailed by Car Guys than the guy working a car gig. The Customer Liaison explained what was wrong, how much, how long. And I didn't feel as though I was being BS'd. I've taken my vehicles here for oil changes and inspections. They are always fast and efficient. My daughters truck was having electrical issues. They fixed it but the battery light kept coming on. They determined there was a minor sensor issue with the alternator. They said i could replace the entire alternator (pricey) or leave it as is - that it wouldn't cause a problem. They could have lied and strongly suggested I get it replaced. So I appreciate their honest assessment. And they didn't charge me to take this second look. read more

I only come here for car washes and while my experience was good, some things seem to be inconsistent. During my first visit, I arrived right when it opened but I couldn't get my car washed because someone who had access to the car wash of the shop was running late. I was told to come back in an hour in which I did and got my car washed. The job was done well, and pricing was not bad at $25. The guys were also pretty nice and chill as well. Unfortunately, my fiance had worse luck here, haha. On the same day and time that I was getting my car wash, my fiance tried to get his car washed too but I guess something broke down so my car was the last car of the day to get washed. Damn! My fiance tried to go again on another morning, and again something else was broken so no washes were happening. Overall, the one car wash I had was pretty good, but it is pretty unfortunate my fiance had some bad luck here in terms of timing and repairs they had going on. Hopefully the car wash services are more consistent in terms of availability, and they keep up with the same quality of services! I love it here. Being a woman all of the car places try to stiff you in prices and I've never been ripped off here. They always tell how much things will cost before they just start adding things in. They explain the process(since I have no clue). All of the people saying they do otherwise are lying or have the wrong group it is not them! And they are very friendly. read more

Before you get anything done at this place, ask for an itemized quote to avoid surprise charges. And ask around first, get a second quote elsewhere so to compare quotes. When I drove up to get my car fixes I was given a quote, several parts needed to be replaced. Come to find out that another garage down the street was goong to fix my car for a third of what this place was charging. And then, their initial quote did not even include taxes! The greeting was exceptional as I am approximately 55 miles from this location and just stopped in for a car wash as well as an oil change. I was over the moon with the personal greeting and the exceptional service immediately. After Finished the oil change they offered to give me that free carwash. So far phenomenal service and will let everybody know if the oil change turns out perfectly also meaning that you never want to get home and have any spots on your garage floor. If I could put no stars I wouldn't. My niece car overheated, she went to Aloha to have them look at car after Auto Zone recommended Aloha. They told me on the phone that she had blown her motor and radiator and it would be $3500.00 to repair, or if I wanted too they would buy for $200.00 , just bring title when I came in. I went next day to check out car with my friend. Car started right up . We did put water in radiator, tow ed it home and had radiator repaired for about $500.00 . They tried to strong arm my niece out of her car, because I believe she is a young lady (20yrs). Shame on them! Don't go to those crooks. Very knowledgeable and honest. No up sale on un needed stuff. I took my car in for suspension noise that was coming from my front end, 20 minutes later they called me and explained that the (sway bar link) broke off and it needs to be replaced. They were asking a very reasonable price after I called a couple of places around and got prices. They were the cheapest, they fixed it so the noise is gone and they also got my baby washed. I wouldn't even leave one star if it was an option, this place left me with a terrible experience. I went to Aloha because I was in town and my car started overheating and leaking coolant. This was the closest place so my bf thought it would be a good idea to go in for a quick fix. My bf knew exactly what was wrong with it so we expected it to be an easy fix. After letting the guys look at the car they pulled us side ( which was weird cause they didn't do that to any other guest) and told us my engine is bad and needed to be replaced, the gasket was blown & the radiator melted. All costing $3500 and the guy told me if I couldn't afford that I could sell him my car for $200. I literally laughed when I heard the offer. I was so upset thinking I had such bad luck with cars. When he left my bf told me he just wanted the car. I was in disbelief, how could they try to take advantage of us like that? I knew this kind of thing happened just never thought it would actually happen to me. People kept telling me that everything about the situation was shady. I finally got my car towed the next day to get a second opinion by my mechanics I trusted who said, I just needed my radiator replaced which was only $180. read more
