Super disappointing... wish I could give no stars! The hours of business say 1pm -8pm on yelp and on sign. It also states on different sign they will close early at 6pm if weather is cold or slow. I will say the weather is cooler today but it's currently 338pm and the place is completely shut down. This place is not worth the gas if they aren't even going to be open when they say they are.

Aguas Frescas - authentic, fresh made with real ingredients. Italian Ice, tastes like a scoop of paleta. Buy local, support friendly family-owned. Store is fun and clean, A/100 inspection.

Dr Pepper Hawaiian style.....she dove in before I got a good photo.

So many flavors! I love there is an option to sit inside and not just a drive through. Love the options to have ice cream and cream. Employees are all nice and they were pretty fast. Cheerful environment and you can even play games while you eat.

I love their sno cones. These are some of the best sno cones I've ever had. And of course, they have other great things to offer such as corn in a cup, etc.

When you walk in there are several pictures of their sweet treats posted on the walls. It was nice to see what their menu items look like before ordering. There are also a few menus posted around so it's easy to decide what you want as you're waiting for your turn to order. The ice cream is blocked so you can't see it, but you are able to look at a list of their flavors. The young man working was very kind and patient as we looked at all our options. When I asked about something, he explained what all was in the treat then pointed at the wall and told me where to find the picture. I think many people would have just told me it was on the wall, but he took the time to explain how it was made step by step. We got a brownie sundae which was pretty basic - the brownie and cookies were slightly dry and it was plain vanilla ice cream so it didn't exactly feel worth the money. The Oreo one was definitely worth it, but VERY sweet! There are two Oreos and ice cream sandwich on top of an Oreo milkshake. Man was it good, though!! We wouldn't drive across town for it again, but if we're in the area again I'd try one of their mangonadas or another Mexican treat!

This place was a very typical snack shop. With chips and cheese, shaved ice, corn in a cup, and even mini pancakes. It was slow/empty when i arrived and i was greeted and served immediately. Staff were friendly and ready to help. Establishment was clean, they have plenty of indoor seating. Chips and cheese (not pictured) were good, cheese was hot! Shaved ice is very much like bahama bucks and not raspa like :(. If you're craving it, check them out, prices were pricey so I wouldn't make it a habit.

Overall it was a cute place to grab a snack. The are was sketchy though so we probably won't be back. Orders: Cotton candy shave Ice Strawberry delight (I think?) It was all very good! We just popped in and out though so not much to say about service or snacking in.

Amazing food! But a bit overwhelming on what you can order. Delicious as heck, but I feel I would need an old fashioned diner menu to know all of my options.

5 star service from the friendly staff! Clean, calm spot (when I came anyway)! I've passed by before and there was lots of people! It's evident too from the laid out & roped off entrance & exit, which organizes how to line up w/ directions as you enter. Woman who I ordered with was really nice. Answered my question inquiring what was in the cucumber split-mango Italian ice and more! I wanted it to be smaller so I didn't order it. Ordered nachos w/ jalapeños and a small strawberry Italian ice. Nachos were the familiar favorite & exactly as expected. Italian ice was super soft and quite tasty. It wasn't at all overly sweet, in fact, I kind of wanted sweeter. I also didn't ask if it was an option to get two different kinds in the choice of flavors. I didn't even think about it. Honestly, for the taste I wanted, a mini with one scoop would've served me perfectly. Some of the other snacks looked like super sized snacks. I just wanted little snacks. Ha. Maverick, who is the assistant manager & prepared both of my things was super friendly & when I told him I wanted the cucumber split, but thought it was too big, he said to try it next time because it's served in the same dish as the nachos, so it's not very big. He also said the Italian ice does pretty well in the freezer if you don't finish it. Aguas frescas are also made fresh in house. I'll be back to try at least a few more things on their extensive menu! Only criticism is beyond their control, or maybe something to bring up with building management since it's outside of the store- There were a couple of unhoused people sitting next to the building drinking and tweeking. They weren't a bother but in that mental state, we all just have to be safe & aware of our surroundings (wherever we go, really), that's all.

Their snow cones are beautiful and taste great too. They add condensed milk to our that gave it an extra sweet flavor. The inside of the restaurant is a bit sticky though, which I suppose could be expected with kids and melting sweets. Service was typical. There was not a lot of seating, we ended up taking ours to go.

This shop sells fudge, truffles, candied apples, and - what I came for - ice cream! They had a lot of ice cream flavors to choose from, a least a couple dozen. The smiling young woman working behind the ice cream counter offered to give tastes, but I had already figured out which flavors I wanted. I chose two scoops in a cup, one of Cappucino Chip and the other Turtle Cheesecake. They have several tables to sit at, some along a hallway and more in a back room. I took a seat and was in awe of the huge scoops given. The Cappuccino Chip had a mild flavor (I prefer it stronger) but a fair number of tiny chocolate chips. The Turtle Cheesecake had an excellent cheesecake flavor with swirls of caramel, praline pecans, and caramel-filled mini turtles. I'm usually not fond of nuts in my ice cream but I actually enjoyed the pralines. In my humble opinion, there were too few turtles. But I still loved it. If you're in the mood for a cold, creamy treat while visiting the Alamo, you'll find this to be the perfect place to visit.

Despite my thoughts being scattered, a worker by the name of Josh made it all worth the while with his amazing, and quick service. He was very intuitive, and even gave us a couple of his suggestions on what he thought was good, which I appreciated as it was my first time there. The real issue came at the cash register. The woman handling payments was, unfortunately, not kind at all. In fact, "rude" would be the most generous description. It actually took my wife about ten minutes just to complete the payment for a couple of ice creams, which felt longer than the ice cream itself took to melt. What made it even more uncomfortable was watching how she interacted with other employees. It wasn't just unprofessional--it was the kind of scene you'd expect in a low-budget psychological thriller where you start wondering if someone should call for backup. So while the ice cream itself and the front-line staff were great, the overall experience was overshadowed by the atmosphere at the register. Small, crowded, and unkind is not a combination that brings us back. We'll pass next time.

There is no seating inside but a couple of tables sit outside. I think I counted 16 unique flavors when I visited. The cordial woman doing the scooping kindly offered tastes but my ice cream radar had already zeroed in on my choices. I chose chocolate orange and caramel salt lick. In a cup. I took a seat outside and was in heaven. Both scoops were so creamy and had bold flavor. The caramel salt lick perfectly describes it - salty caramel flavor. Have you ever had those chocolate oranges that seem to appear on store shelves around Christmas time? That's exactly how the chocolate orange ice cream tastes. But better. I also love the local, small, family-owned business vibe. The owners were very friendly, which made the experience even better. My only wish is that they stayed open later on Sundays.
