I wanted a second opinion before spending that kind of money, so I called Nothing But Water Heaters and they got someone out pretty quickly. The technician, Manny, checked it out and realized the pilot light was just out. He spent a few minutes figuring out why, got it relit, and had everything working again in about 15 minutes. He also told us the water heater is from 2019 and doesn't need to be replaced anytime soon. What really got me was that he could have easily told us it needed replacing and we never would have known better. Instead he was straight with us, gave us a quote for whenever we do actually need a new one down the road, and wouldn't take payment for the visit even though I offered a few times. You don't run into that kind of honesty very often. I'll definitely be calling them when I do need a replacement, and I'm telling everyone I know to use them too.

Although the initial installation timeline was about two days, I shared that our tenants have small children and asked if there was any chance for an earlier opening. They went above and beyond, contacting us the very next afternoon after they finished early for the day, and were able to complete the replacement ahead of schedule. Their pricing was transparent, the installation was efficient, and their communication was outstanding. We received updates via text, email, and phone. And it was a TOUGH one…read more Not only was it 120 degrees outside, and much hotter in the attic, they had to pull in and out the new and old air handler through a small access panel, all while it was over 130 degrees in the attic. The team had some obstacles I suspect they didn't realize at time of quote. Ranier, Carlos, Kyle, Luis, and a few other guys on the team managed the heat and the install in one day. I can't say enough good about Super Service; they did our inspection when we were buying the home and we've stuck with them ever since. They stayed until the work was complete, where two other companies told us they would have to quit work by 6:30. These guys stayed not only til the job was done, but until they could verify our house (92 degrees inside) was cooling down so we could sleep here the night they finished. Uber-professional, courteous, respectful, and cheerful, this crew is as good as I've seen. Makes me chuckle a little that my neighbor lost his AC the same night I did, and they went with another company. He's on day 3 of his replacement. All days where the ambient was at least 111 degrees.

Less than two hours later, Brian called to let me know he was about 15 minutes away. I also received a text with his photo and notification that he was on the way, which was a nice touch. Brian and Marco quickly diagnosed the problem, had the replacement part on hand, and got the AC up and running right away. From the time I called to having cold air again, the entire process took about three hours! This was my first time using Lee's Air, Plumbing & Heating, and I was extremely impressed with their professionalism, communication, efficiency, and customer service. Predatory flat-rate pricing, aggressive padding, and their workers are probably paid by commission and trained to be as charismatic as possible. Once you sign, you cannot argue down the bill. Pretty much every service they have offered and charged for is 2x the price. They do not work very fast, and do a very uninformative and sub-par job. Don't get yourself tied in with them. Go for a second opinion, or a third. Do your research and avoid large scale bureaucratic companies like this. Save your money.

Was able to get an appointment within 3 hours on a Saturday night. I immediately received a text confirmation of my appointment window. Out tech Kevin pre-called prior to arriving well ahead of the window and Goettl's system even sent a picture of the tech so I knew who I'd be dealing with. When he showed up, he greeted us with a smile and he and Armando were very friendly throughout the visit. He diagnosed pretty quickly and started cooling the house fairly quickly. He was transparent about the problem, showing us the steps, readings, and troubleshooting. The cost was fair to take the house temp from 91 back down to comfortable temps. He was honest about what could be fixed and what needed to be followed up on. Looking forward to working with this company in the near future to getting the leak permanently fixed and getting the normal maintenance done.

Let me start by saying that the estimates are exorbitant. They are extremely pricey, and they simply want to replace everything which just adds on more cost. Here are the warning signs of why we did not proceed further, despite very high-pressure sales tactics by the representative that was there last night: 1) it did not feel right. This guy went on and talked about himself half the time. I honestly thought that if he could resemble a snake, he would. There was nothing positive about him, even though he thought a lot about himself. It was both my spouse and myself, and we are both women and he kept saying that because it's just us two women, he is here to help us, like he's gonna save the day because we're two damsels in distress. I found it so offensive and he was such a chauvinist. 2) Still to do with the sales representative, he tried to sell us a membership. We knew nothing about and barely even explained it, but wanted to tag it on right away to the whole estimate. It just felt so wrong. 3) The sales representative wanted to basically replace everything, even though it would cost us an absolute fortune. He had absolutely no regard for price and affordability. 4) At the end, it was my spouse that said that we'd like to stop because he was literally making us sign papers and contracts after getting us approved for a loan of almost $40,000, getting ready to have his basket on the phone to do the call that officially makes everything go... And we just stopped all of that. We said we are not interested in proceeding further and we knew that without that call from his boss, we could not proceed further. He was shameless in trying to get the sale. At the very end, when we said we'd like to think about it and not proceed any further, his comment was "but I've been here for two hours". Are you kidding me? Goettl should really consider better sales individuals. The one that came the evening that we called was just there to make a sale and could not care less about we wanted or needed. Pathetic and I would never recommend this company to anybody based solely on that.

A major plumbing project can turn a home upside down, and what stood out most was that they seemed to understand that they were not just working on pipes and walls -- they were working inside someone's home during a stressful and disruptive situation. That mattered... It really did! Every contractor and worker they brought into the project was professional, respectful, trustworthy, and careful in our home. That gave us a tremendous amount of confidence throughout the process. Nick and Zack communicated clearly, followed through, and repeatedly went above and beyond in ways we did not expect. The quality of the work was important, of course, but so was the character of the people doing it. When your home is opened up and there are multiple trades coming and going, you have to be able to trust the company coordinating everything behind the scenes. On Time Plumbing earned that trust. One company finally gave me an estimate for checking/replacing my water shutoff valve just before they arrived and I knew it was absolutely outrageous and taking advantage of the situation. Another company could not come for 2 days but suggested Nick and assured me he was an honorable man. Nick sensed my frustration, came over a few hours later and discovered my shutoff valve was UNDER the sink. I knew the delivery men would NOT install the new refrigerator unless there was a shutoff valve behind the refrigerator. All I had was an electrical outlet. Nick also discovered and showed me a lot of corrosion with the garbage disposaI, shutoff valves, and plumbing in general. This was a blessing in disguise as I could have ended up with an unexpected major water leak down the road. Nick gave me a very reasonable quote for the entire job and would have it done first thing in the morning. One of his workers arrived on time, greeted me in such a warm, reassuring way (Nick obviously advised him I had been through the wringer) and prepped the job. Nick showed up to make sure I was comfortable and knew we needed to complete the entire job before the refrigerator installers arrived. He treated his two workers with such respect, guidance, and leadership. They also added an extra shutoff valve to the hose leading to the refrigerator. The installers arrived just as the plumbers were leaving. Nick spoke to them to make certain all was good before he left. You don't find this kind of service every day. The tech quoted that me I needed a duct clean on a 2 year old home, and put a quote for an April Aire that I did not ask for nor discuss into the quote in addition to the APCO X. The quote was an eye popping $11,000 dollars! Not only is this insulting to my intelligence but when I called the company they didn't care.

Experiencing a major electrical failure on Memorial Day was an absolute Nevada homeowner nightmare…read more Our main power box failed unexpectedly, and like most people would expect on a holiday, I couldn't get a single electrician to answer the phone. Understandable, but still incredibly stressful when you're suddenly without power. Ampere Electric was the exception. Not only did they answer the phone, they had someone at my house within an hour. Unfortunately, by the time they arrived it was late in the evening and there wasn't much that could safely be done until NV Energy could disconnect service the next morning. What impressed me was that they didn't make promises they couldn't keep. Instead, they told me exactly what would happen: they would coordinate with NV Energy first thing in the morning, get the power disconnected, and begin work immediately. That's exactly what happened. Patricio and Carlos arrived early and worked hard all day. They replaced the equipment, completed the installation, and had everything finished by around 3 PM. At that point, the only thing left was waiting for NV Energy to return so final restoration could take place. Unfortunately, NV Energy was completely inundated and running far behind schedule. This is where Ampere really separated themselves from every other contractor I've worked with. Patricio and Carlos could have easily packed up, told us we'd have to wait until the next day, and moved on to their next job. Instead, they stayed. They waited outside my house for hours. They repeatedly apologized for the inconvenience even though the delay wasn't their fault in any way. They had done their job and done it well, yet they refused to leave until the entire situation was resolved. NV Energy didn't arrive until nearly 8 PM. Patricio and Carlos were still there. The moment NV Energy completed their portion, they immediately restored everything, verified that power was working properly, and stayed until we were fully situated and every aspect of the job was complete. That level of customer service is rare. They didn't leave us stranded. They didn't pass the problem to someone else. They didn't do the minimum. They saw the job all the way through from start to finish, even when it meant spending their entire day and evening making sure their customers were taken care of. I am incredibly impressed with Ampere Electric, and especially with Patricio and Carlos. If you want a company that does what they say they're going to do, communicates honestly, and treats your problem like it's their problem, this is the team to call. Five stars, without hesitation. My installation ended up costing over $4,200. I understand every home is different, but the final price was much higher than I expected. Because my home only has a 100-amp electrical panel, I was steered toward a different charging system than the one I originally wanted. After the installation, I did more research and discovered that the system I was sold was available elsewhere for significantly less. I wish I had taken more time to compare options before moving forward. Ultimately, I take responsibility for making a rushed decision, but I hope my experience encourages others to slow down, get multiple quotes, compare equipment prices, and fully understand all of their options before committing.

These plumbers were sent to our house through Old Republic home warranty to fix a broken pipe. Our house was built in the 70's and some of the pipes are old. The plumbers did a free consultation and told us they will contact our home warranty and just wait for an approval to start work. They will contact us and schedule for them to come back as soon as they get an okey from the home warranty. Several days passed and we didn't hear from both alpha plumbing and old republic so we decided to give them a ring. I spoke to a representative from old republic and he said everything was approved and to go ahead and call alpha plumbing to schedule for them to come back. I immediately called alpha plumbing and spoke to Angela the manager, she said you guys were not approved and she said she was just hanging with the home warranty representative before I had called and Angela was very certain that our claim was declined. While I was still on the call with her a representative from old republic called me and told me that our claim was declined because Alpha Plumbing told them that our pipe was willfully broken by us. They determined that we used the pipe to help ourselves up and putting all our weight on the pipe that caused it to break! And sadly old republic believed them because they are the professionals. Why would we purposely break a pipe and create headaches for ourselves? Alpha plumbing accused us of being liars and manipulative to do insurance fraud. Old republic denied our claim. We paid out of pocket to hire another plumbing company to clear our name with our home warranty and sure enough the diagnosis of the other plumbing company was NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR! alpha plumbing is extremely malicious. They can and will do anything to decline a claim from your home warranty. They know all the ins and outs of how to get an approval or denial of home warranty claims. If for some reason you disagree with them and they are very rude and argumentative...... they will do everything they can to make sure you don't get any help from your home warranty. If you have OLD REPUBLIC home warranty request for another plumbing company. DO NOT HIRE ALPHA PLUMBING. You have BEEN WARNED!!!!!! read more

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE Alpha plumbing was dispatched to our house to fix a broken shower arm and faucet valve through HOME WARRANTY. They are extremely dishonest and vindictive. They promised us that they would be able to finished the job that same day and thats the only reason why we agreed to hire them. After they did their consultation they suddenly told us that they would have to come back and finished the job. They said they can't really tell us when they can come back. We told the plumbers that we spoke to Angela before we made the appointment and she was confident that they can stay after the consultation and fix our shower because she said it only takes OLD REPUBLIC about 15 mins to approve authorization. That's the only reason why we went with alpha plumbing with the promise that they can finished the job the same day. Due to this misunderstanding ALPHA PLUMBING SUBMITTED A VERY CRUEL DIAGNOSIS TO OUR HOME WARRANTY. THEY SAID THAT WE PURPOSELY AND FORCEFULLY BROKE THE SHOWER ARM AND THAT THIS WAS NOT THE NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. ALPHA PLUMBING DID THIS OUT OF SPITE! OUR HOME WARRANTY DECLINED TO FIX OUR BROKEN SHOWER and we ended up with several hundred OF dollars out of our own pocket to fix our shower! Outstanding Service - Highly Recommend Alpha Plumbing! We had a fantastic experience with Alpha Plumbing from start to finish. Armen came out for the service appointment and immediately impressed us with how swiftly and professionally he assessed the situation. Not only did he address the issue at hand, but he also caught that two hoses were not up to code--something we had no idea about. That level of attention to detail truly earned our trust. I had a broken pope no water on a Friday, I contacted Alpha not realizing after hours ER time a Angel answered she was verry nice, when I was going to hang up she said wait a minute you have leak and no water I will try and see what we can do sched and tech wise as well as some suggestions. in around an hour or so she called me and was able to get us in, she said Simon a tech. would be able to do in the next hr. My tenant notified me of a water leak on the kitchen counter and under the sink. Alpha Plumbing was able send someone out to replace the leaky faucet within the hour. Angel from the office was very effective communicating with me the whole time. I am an out of state investor and she helped forward pictures of the problem and the fix. Loyalty Plumbing to the rescue! Alex showed up within an hour and delivered the news that the water heater was kaput. We talked about some options and elected to replace it with a tankless heater. Trey and another fellow showed up a little bit after noon and spent many hours installing the tankless heater. Trey returned the next day to plumb the new gas line, and he came back once more to check that the gas line holds pressure. We'll see him again when the city inspector and SW Gas come by to attach the new line to the meter. It would have been much better and cheaper to have gotten Loyalty Plumbing to do an annual check on the original water heater, our bad! However, I'm glad to have a new high-tech toy in the garage. Considering the cost of the new tankless heater and the many hours of labor that went into the installation and gas line plumbing, I feel like it was a fair price when all is said and done. We're now signed up for the yearly maintenance plan by which Loyalty will come out three times a year to check on the plumbing and HVAC. As always, everyone we encountered from Loyalty was super friendly and helpful.
