Shortly after leaving the property, I noticed my engine began shaking -- an issue that was not present before the service. I immediately returned to the location and reported the problem. I was initially told it was an engine misfire, then that it might be my air filter. The employee then suggested I take the vehicle to my own mechanic. When I explained that the engine was running smoothly before the oil change, I was again encouraged to leave and handle it elsewhere. After requesting to speak with a manager, the technician who had performed the service finally inspected the vehicle and identified the problem: the oil cap (oil capsule) had not been properly secured. This oversight caused a significant inconvenience and disrupted my schedule. While the technician who worked on my vehicle did apologize once the issue was discovered, the original employee I dealt with showed no accountability, offered no apology, and made no effort to resolve the situation.

My truck is on a 12-inch lift with 42-inch tires, which basically means it's less of a truck and more of a mobile observation tower. Small children look at it the way people look at monster trucks at a county fair. Most oil change places take one look at it and suddenly say things like "our lift is down" or "we don't service... aircraft carriers." Not these guys. They walked out, looked up at the truck like they were inspecting a skyscraper, nodded, and got to work like it was a completely normal Tuesday. One of the techs climbed up there like a Navy SEAL scaling a building. Next thing I know, oil change done, no drama, no weird upsells, and nobody needed a ladder from Home Depot. Truck runs great, still sits high enough to change the weather pattern in Glendale, and I'll definitely be coming back. 10/10. During that visit, an employee attempted to remove the drain plug and informed me it had been damaged. I asked whether it could be repaired without making the issue worse, and I was told another shop could fix it and that customers are regularly referred there for this same issue. That referral came directly from the employee, not from me. The drain plug damage occurred while my vehicle was in this shop's care. Although the owner states that no service was completed during that visit, this was not my first oil change here. The damage occurred during a prior service performed by this business. As a customer, I should not be expected to inspect the underside of my vehicle after routine maintenance, nor would I fabricate this situation. This is why I requested accountability. Regarding the oil change interval, I was transparent about my driving circumstances and explained that I had added oil as needed until I could bring the vehicle in. This does not justify damage to the oil pan or remove responsibility for damage caused during service. The cost to resolve the issue was $100. My request was simply for the business to take responsibility for damage that occurred in their shop. Unfortunately, the conversation ended with a refusal to do so. As it goes being a parent I was trying to do too many things at once and life happens. None the less Hrant was very understanding of the situation and did his best to prioritize getting my car in ASAP the next day due to an upcoming trip on my end. I showed up bright and early, his team took a look at my car, did a test drive and fixed my issue all under an hour!
