A piece of metal found inside of the toast.
    Miguel B.

If I could give it less than a single start I would. Can you believe that I found a piece of metal, yes you heard correctly, METAL on my toast. I was biting onto the toast and felt something hard and as I pulled the foreign item I found a piece of metal. Seems to be maybe the tie that is used to wrap the bread or maybe similar to the metal piece that is used for ice. This is extremely unsafe and I'm not sure what they're doing back there but there is no type of safety or sanitation procedures in the kitchen apparently, me and my coworkers used to order Al's religiously. Never again.

    Protein Stirfry.

Al's is moving on up. Well, that or I had simply never had this wonderful dish before. Today for lunch, I opted to order something new. I had the Protein Stirfry and it was out of this world. Perfectly portioned, it's given me the energy I need for the rest of the day. Chicken, steak, onions, bell peppers, in a tangy sauce. Delicious. Al's, you never fail to make me happy.

Breast chicken and fries take out order

We order our food to be delivered, we order 2 chicken breast and fries, the food took for ever to arrived and they only send one meal,I called them and I told them how unhappy I was because we only have 30 min for lunch the person who answered the phone call the manager and without mutter the phone he told her loud enough can you talk to this lady she is very rude,as employee he should keep his opinions about his customers, I had the right to be upset and I really didn't appreciate his comments,Gena took over the call, she was very nice and pleasant even that the food wasn't great I will give it a second chance just because of her, they need to train their employees to be nice to their customers, because even if we are wrong, you have to make us believe that we are right, that is the rule

Burnt old coffee and stale food. Avoid. Even chain places like Starbucks offer way better selection than this hole in the ground.

It was amazing with the garlic confit putting it over the top. And you get a small or large so not some overpriced over large sandwich. They also have a daily special that looked really good. Maybe it's the ambiance? For sure it's just a cool building with high ceilings and decorated their words like your tias house. It's just cool old typewriters, mud century lamps and furniture. Great spot to hang out. They have a few outdoor tables and a bar. The place is not large but it's really very cool. Maybe it the coffe? The original concept was to take a ventanita up a notch and their coffe is excellent. A beautifully presented and tasting cafe con leche or cortadito And they have parking, free parking

Truly one of its kind, Tinta y Cafe has some of the most delicious cuban-style sandwiches in town…read more Not just that, but for the price-point, variety, and quality; it doesn't compare to many in town. My go to and my suggestion if you are a first timer is their madurito. It is one of their classics and most beloved, and a personal favorite too. When I go by myself and order the mini, I tend to have left overs and I have found that when I go with my partner, the regular is more than enough for both! Each sandwich somes with some platanitos, which are a perfect combo, and I would suggest you order un jugo de parchita (or maracuya) or try their beloved coffee. As a matcha lover, I recently heard they started offering matcha as well which I am SO excited to try. P.S., keep in mind that they don't allow laptops and I feel like they might even have a wifi blocker since signal gets so bad inside, but I really appreciate how it motivates you to remain very present and connect with the staff and other customers around you.

The little grandma was so friendly and sweet, and was kind enough to refill my coffee mug with extra milk. And she even steamed it before refilling for me! That's the kind of service you don't really get anymore without either paying an arm and a leg or just have to go without these days. The food gets 4 stars because the hash brown could be a little less oily and the palmas steak could be a little more tender. Otherwise, the flavor and the amount is amazing... The prices deserves 5 stars in this economical climate and I'm shocked they can be this cheap in this neck of the woods but I appreciate it nonetheless. My only complaint is actually the mosquitoes... I got 6 bites in the 30mins while I ate there. I didn't dock off any stars for that because it is Miami with an open front, but beware if you are a mosquito magnet...

It was lunch time and the place was actually empty so we were skeptical but gave it a try anyways. Definitely looks like a family owned and family-run restaurant. The menu has a lot of choices. I believe the main dishes were only available for dinner so we went with the breakfast and lunch option. Steak, egg, toast, coffee- hubby got this breakfast special and the portion was huge! Look at the plate. It was a big slice of steak, 2 eggs (scrambled) fries, a side of bread and a cup of coffee. We could have totally shared the one entree and be full for 2 people! The price definitely beats the portion. Steak sandwich- I got the sandwich which was also big in portion. It came with chips fries on top. The sandwich had onions and lettuce, tomatoes. It may not be the tastiest meal but it def satisfied our belly and our wallet. The service was great. The guy who took our order was very nice and the lady seems like she didn't speak a lot of English. The food was not salty so more on the bland side so you can definitely dress it up with sauce. We would definitely stop by here again if in town to try their dinner menu. Price definitely is great for budget friendly people :)
