I am totally happy with this place!! Got an estimate on yelp and then went in for the actual estimate. Estimate was lower then quoted and was happy with the work. The guys were very honest and very friendly. Only had to have my brake pads replaced, considering the dealership told me I needed new rotors as well. Look no further for honest and quality auto repair! (*Women, take note!) My SUV was leaking coolant and power steering fluid, and my wheel was stiff and engine was overheating! That morning, I called a few places on Yelp for price quotes, and AMC was HALF as much! Ultimately, I tried AMC based on the excellent reviews and estimated cost by phone. In spite of my limited knowledge about auto repair, Mario was patient and showed me the leak under the hood and discussed the plan for repair. I'm a woman, and he treated me with respect and kindness. He gave me a fair price quote and honored the additional 15% Yelp discount. He also gave me a reasonable timeframe for same day service. When I came to pick up my SUV, he took the time to show me the finished work, which was consistent with what we discussed at the beginning. He also reviewed the terms of the lifetime warrantee on parts, 2yr warrantee on labor, and national service plan should I go out of state (all included in the final price). The best part was the final cost was cheaper than the original quote because Mario shopped around to find the parts we needed for even less! Does that happen anywhere else?! I broke my passenger side mirror and the Honda Auto dealer quoted me about $600 (400 equipment, 50 color, 150 labor) and I was in complete shock. I checked yelp and found this place. I was able to get a quick quote for about $160ish including the LABOR and he also let me use the yelp discount. Granted it wasn't a Honda officially part but the mirror works great, still can have the heated function and the used the old silver plastic cap to save me more money. Ever honest and helpful. I recently purchased an Audi couple weeks ago and I was 15k miles over on the timing belt replacement interval. I went on Yelp to find a good affordable reputable shop that knows what their doing to do the right job on my car. Some mechanics don't even bother changing the timing belt on Audis because it is a huge pain in the ass and labor is twice as long compared to a Asian simple car. When I called I talked to the owner and he gave me a quote that was 200-800 bucks cheaper then all the other shops around. He assured me over the phone that my car would be in good hands. Very polite and checked the car out under the hood to make sure everything was in good and provide me with an over all status of the car. I work right down the street from this place . Have seen it a million times on the way to work. Driving home something was dragging under my car. No .... it wasn't a body ... it was the undercover dragging . I pulled over and tried to pull it off myself or use the kid scissors I had but neither worked. I looked around the parking lot I was in to see if somebody could help me but the only guy I saw too busy arguing with his girlfriend over the phone (probably because he was at the strip club) Standing wondering what to do, I remember this place and it's 600 ft away. I drove over hoping they are still open. It's after 6:00pm but the guy was happy to help me get the undercover off the bottom so I could drive home . Normally i use Yelp for checking the reviews about the place, if i had a good experience or was satisfied with the out come i just move on...But if its an experience that i know DOESN'T happen everyday then i must say something about it and let ppl know its a place to go... I had my '03 Sierra since it was new taking care of it etc., but as time passes some parts are hard to see and unknown if they need to be prepared, today was one of those days of a break down, idk much about the front end drive stuff but when your tire is sticking inward and grinding then somethings wrong, usually its a trip to the dealer to fix, not in this case 5 hrs away from my dealer and not open during normal business hours, (not good)... Stressed out, i checked yelp and closest to me was AMC Automotive with 5 stars by the reviews i had to check it out, tow truck already in route... Gate locked It was closed (great), guard dog barking, someone came out to check, told him my situation he was able to accept the drop off, In no time i was told what was wrong and that it could be fixed before the end of the day, Wow thats a first, the owner was professional, great customer service, and the timing was on point. I took my car here and had my AC compressor and associated parts replaced and since they did a great job with that I had them replace my radiator a short time later when it needed replacing. Both jobs were done by the end of the afternoon on the day that I took it in and their fees and part prices were very reasonable/competitive. I plan to take my car back for any other major repairs that aren't practical to do myself. read more
