    Lasagna! Yum!

Traditional old school looking family style Italian restaurant. Photos of NC State sportsmen adorn the entry area. Looks like the go-to place for students and families. We were fortunate our wait wasnt long. There are two dining areas, the original on the left and the newer dining area to the right. We sat the right. Three in the party ordered the lasagna which was execellent. I ordered the Caesar Salad with Shrimp which was delicious. The shrimp was just the right size, not the tiny kind or chopped up. Service and the food is good. Would come back.

I stopped in for a quick lunch while in town. Amedeo's did not disappoint. I decided to try the lunch special, which came with an 8 inch personal pizza, Caesar salad, and a drink for $13. Talk about value! We were also served fresh bread at the table. My favorite part of this meal was the salad. It was covered in sauce, and had plenty of croutons and cheese. The pizza was decent, but not anything standout. The fresh bread was delicious! The atmosphere is more intimate than I was expecting but for a small mid-conference lunch this was perfect. The service was great, and I would definitely return.

I sometimes come here for lunch. Love this place. Authentic Italian American food near North Carolinia State University. Many of the staff have worked there for a long time. Service is always good--food exceptional. I love there Spinach Lasagna and Spaghetti with meat sauce. They serve a very good Italian Vinnegret on their house salad. The restaurant is a shine to State and Amedeo and his family. When you walk in, you feel like your entering and Italian restaurant in Brooklyn or South Philly, as well as a place dedicated to the Wolf Pack! Try it; you'll like it!

I've visited Amedeo's Italian Restaurant multiple times in the past and never had an issue, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I ordered through DoorDash and the food I received was bland and watery--completely below the quality I've come to expect. When I called the restaurant, I was told to go through DoorDash. DoorDash then told me they couldn't provide a refund. What's most frustrating is the lack of accountability--no effort from the restaurant to make it right, even with a replacement offer. Unfortunately, this experience has changed my perception, and I hope they improve both their food quality and customer service.

We went with a large basketball team of about 25 people. The food was amazing- I am a foodie. The drinks were delicious. The service was amazing. The next time we are back in Raleigh we will no doubt come here again. We got lots of different pizzas- all amazing, meat lasagana, wings, spaghetti... the food was fantastic. Thank you to the people there who took excellent care of us and made everything so smooth! Landon Sydney and Alyson - you all ROCK.

This place is a very cute restaurant off Western Boulevard. It is dimly lit and has a sports bar vibe. The staff is very friendly and they seem to always have a good amount of people in it. They have a nice big menu of various pastas, pizzas, and subs and have big portions with decent prices! I had their famous lasagna and oreo cheesecake which were both delicious, but the one dish here that blew my mind was the lobster ravioli. After I tried it once, I never tried anything else again. I come to Amedeo's strictly for this now, EVERYONE should try this!!!!! The pastas here are so flavorful and taste very homemade. This is honestly rare because many Italian places around just give expensive flavorless marinara or alfredo sauces. This is a place you should definitely eat at if you're a pasta lover.

Greek salad with hot bread and butter started our meal. Stuffed mushrooms was a nice appetizer while we waited. Eggplant Parmesan with angel hair pasta was old school delicious. Generous portions are the Rule at Amedeos. N.C. State University and Hurricanes territory are proudly displayed on the photo walls alongside with numerous sports memorabilia. Flatscreen TVs round out the sports bar atmosphere and full bar with wines, beers, etc. Your fan central with good food, beverages, and fun are highly recommended.

A friend was in town visiting with her daughter who was at camp at NC State so I knew she would enjoy lunch at the iconic Amedeo's. It didn't disappoint. I was late due to traffic but they greeted my friend and had her seated upon my arrival to join her. I love Amedeo's lasagna so my friend ordered it too. It was so delicious moist and flavorful. Also the bread was soft and warm to accompany that lasagna. Our Mamas would be proud as we both cleaned our plates. Very friendly and professional service. Fun place especially if you're a Wolfpack fan like me! Lovely decor! Go Amedeo's! Go Pack Howl Yeah‼

The restaurant is nice and dimly lit with plenty of seating, but you will have to find street parking around Glenwood. We were a party of 6 and they pulled together tables to accommodate us. Our server was a little slow but still friendly. For starters we got a Margherita pizza, calamari, the grilled caesar, and they brought us a complimentary bread basket with oil. Everything except the caesar was good. I guess we didn't expect the caesar to taste THAT charred and the lettuce to not be chopped. For main entrees, we ordered lasagna, lobster ravioli, penne alla vodka, and alfredo. The vodka pasta and lasagna were unflavored and disliked among the table. I would not recommend those dishes. The alfredo was okay. The best dish was the lobster ravioli.

"Best Pizza" many years running back when that actually meant something. Now? It feels less like a restaurant and more like a nostalgic reenactment gone very wrong. The menu still reads like a dream--Carolina crust this, atomic sauce that--but ordering has become a real exercise in imagination. Half the ingredients are apparently on a spiritual journey and no longer physically present. You'll ask for sharp cheddar and get a thoughtful pause, followed by, "We don't have sharp cheddar, we might have a Wisconsin sharp cheddar?" --which, to their credit, has the word "cheddar" in it. The staff move with the energy of a group project that everyone forgot was due today. Pizzas emerge... interpretively. You might order a margherita and receive something that captures its essence, emotionally, if not structurally. It's less "wrong order" and more "pizza as a suggestion." A master of creative problem-solving, this cashier has boldly redefined the concept of "making change." Why fumble with buttons and math when you can simply hand over two beers and call it even? It's less of a transaction and more of a surprise gift exchange--one where the rules are unclear and the outcome is mildly concerning. And the wine list--oh, the wine list--is a beautiful historical document. A relic. A time capsule from at least six months ago, when bottles still existed and hope flowed freely. Now, asking for wine feels like asking about a long-lost friend. "We don't have that," they'll say, gazing into the middle distance. Still, there's something oddly annoying about it all. Like walking into a once-revered theater that still clings to its golden-age reputation. The performances feel like echoes rather than art, the lighting flat where it once dazzled, and every scene drags with the weight of trying to live up to a forgotten past. It's not bad enough to be a disaster--just disappointing enough to make you wonder if the hype was ever real or if you're just eating the ghost of someone else's great experience. Cheers!
