My daughter and I get our nails done every two weeks and we have recently trying different places because our previous go to salon is under new ownership. We have found our new nail salon! It's clean and bright and the staff is very friendly. I got a fill and a pedicure and both came out perfect! My daughter had an ombre dip and a pedicure - she was happy with both but absolutely loves the ombre dip on her fingernails. The pricing is right in line with other area nail salons and I'd recommend giving American Nails a try if you are looking for something new or if you have a special occasion coming up they have so many great creative nail options! read more

I am in town for a conference and desperately needed a mani/pedi. American Nails was highly rated on Yelp so my coworker and I gave it a try. This is the best salon I've been to in years. The tech was amazing and actually spent time perfecting her work. The American Spa pedicure was incredibly relaxing. I also got the Dipping Powder French manicure and it looks great! Bought a Groupon last week. Had heard about it from a friend and wanted to try it. Made an appointment for two a week before. Arrived on time on the day of the appointment. My friend had to wait for 30 mins before her session started. I had to wait for 50 mins and after we asked them why it's taking long, Tommy came over to do my pedicure. The Groupon said 50 mins session but Tommy was done in 20 mins. When asked about it, he was very rude and said he is just fast unlike others in the spa. My friend's pedicure was satisfactory. Mine was a complete waste of time. We also wanted to get manicure done without the Groupon but Tommy refused the service. Both of us will never step into that spa again. read more

I use to love coming here until today. I made an appointment for 10 am as the website showed it was available. I always wait for a confirmation by Lena which I did receive. Lena always does my nails and she's very good at it. I would say today was the last time I ever see her due to the lack of respect she gave. I was asked if I had made the appointment for 10 am which I told her yes. She basically was telling me that I can't make same day morning appointments because she's busy. If your so busy, why did you confirm the appointment? I continue to tell Lena that I'm not like other customers. Her concern was she is so busy that she can't confirm appointments which leads to customers coming in upset. Once again, if you was so busy she didn't have to confirm and reschedule. It's also not my fault what others do but because I made an appointment same day, it's an issue. I showed Lena a picture of what I wanted done and she seemed like she knew was she was doing. She started doing the opposite of what I asked and not what the picture shows. I told Lena what I wanted about 5X or maybe more including the picture. Lena had the nerve to say "DONT SHOW ME THE PICTURE, IM GOING BY WHAT YOU SAID!". So not only are you not listening, your arguing with your customers about what they asked for and refusing to go by what I came in with. She was beyond rude and disrespectful. The fact she didn't take accountability and disrespected a customer is not acceptable. I will never come back to this place because of Lena's lack of respect. You treat people especially customers respectfully if you want their business. Do not go here because you would be questioned by Lena why you made an appointment that shows available online and she won't listen to what you asked for! read more

I visited this location for the first time today after seeing they did UV Gel full sets for only $45, not many places in the area offer the service. I had no problem with Vivian, she did a great job on my nails! The problem I had was when the service was done she said the total was $60...which was kind of a shock since I had checked the website the day before at $45. Come to find out they charge $15 extra just because I got gel polish. Shouldn't that be included for FREE since I am getting a gel full set why would I get regular nail polish??? Unfortunately, it is enough of an extra charge that I won't be coming back to this nail salon. read more

to start, the women over the phone changed my appointment time twice and that was a huge inconvenience. the women doing my nails shaped it completely off what I asked for. one side of my nail is round but the other side is straight. she also forgot to paint half of my nail and it looks very rushed honestly my 5 year old niece who doesn't exist could have done a better job. she didn't even bother filing them down evenly. I'm not the type to complain on yelp but I made an effort to create this account to warn whom ever is reading this. this is probably the worst set I have ever gotten in my life. a press on kit at k-mart would have looked better and lasted longer. save your coin and go some where else. I went here for the first time about a month ago. I'm new to the area and was looking for a new nail salon. This place is so clean and new! I had a gel mani and a pedi with Vivian, she was great! She did a wonderful job, was personable and professional. Two weeks later I went back to get a new gel manicure and unfortunately was not with Vivian. I was not impressed with the woman who did my nails this time, they did not come out as good as the previous time, it took a very long time to have my nails done and this manicurist was far less professional. Not great. I tried so hard to like this place. I went 4 times. The first was with the only man that works there. Forgot his name. I asked for dip ombré nails. He actually did a wonderful job and I really loved my nails but it took about 2 hours and that was after a 30 min or so wait. The next time was with Vivienne. She's the main one who answers the phone and such. She does a good job, is quick, and the only reason why I gave this place 2 stars and not just one. I went a third time and that was uneventful. The final time I went was a couple of months ago and that was my final straw. I called ahead and made an appointment with Vivienne but when I got there she was with someone else so she started me someone else. I didn't say anything bc I didn't want to bother. I assumed this other lady would only start me off and Vivienne would take over once she was finished with her other customer, but that did not happen. This other lady did my toes and my fingernails. And she was awful. I again asked for ombre nails. It was clear that I was bothering her. She clearly wanted to get back on her phone and back to her snacks (which btw they eat in front of their customers while on breaks. They sit on their phones and watch tv on their phones laughing at whatever they're watching or even sleeping in the pedicure chairs!) anyway, back to this manicure: the manicure did not end up ombre. It ended up half nude half white which is not what I wanted. She was also very painful. I finally had enough and so I turned to Vivienne and said "Vivienne I had an appointment with you what happened?" She had no idea I had an appointment with her and had to check her schedule book to confirm that I actually did. She ended up moving me to her station, drilling off most of what the previous lady had done and re-doing it. The nails ended up OK but it was another over two hours that I spent at the salon. My daughter and I went here. After almost getting our feet scalded in the pedi bath our calves were burned with hot rock massage. they man was killing my legs and told me that was good I suffered three days of muscle tenderness. They try to upsell which is annoying. The toe polish looked like a child did it, very sloppy. My daughters nails chipped day 2 and my acrylics chipped within a few days. It was super expensive and they seem inexperienced. I did not like the u shaped set up. This is strictly a review on their lash extensions as I have not tried any of their other services. I was so excited to find a place in the area that will do eyelash extensions. I've had eyelashes done before but gave it up because the location I liked was simply an inconvenience to get to. So I tried American Nails Spa. The technician was very nice and polite. But there were several issues. She used, what I believe was, actual Scotch tape under my eye lids (usually it's some sort of medical tape or micropore tape and it doesn't hurt much to pull off - this KILLED). The glue was burning my eyes (I've never had this experience anywhere else) so much so that they were watering down my face. They also use cluster lashes which - if you look it up or ask someone who applies lashes - you'll find that they are not good for your natural lashes AT ALL. Some were actually glued to my eye lid instead of my lashes. I was disappointed. I really had high hopes for this place. What a bummer. read more

I really liked this salon however my last experience may have turned me off from them for good. I recently went there and got a dip powder manicure. First, the girl that did it ripped the skin around my nails up with the nail drill and was very aggressive with it. Then within 2 days, the polish started popping completely off my nail without me doing anything to them. So I called and went back to get it fixed. They were very understanding and redid all my nails which I was appreciative of. However, the man who did it dipped one of my hands in the color powder 3 times and the other hand 2 times. When I realized this, I told him and he responded "No I did it 3 times. I never miss." Now on one hand, my nails are much thicker and darker than the other. As well, he was very fast and rushed doing the whole thing. He missed many spots putting the top coat on multiple fingers making the shine uneven. read more

Been to this salon twice and had the same nail technician took care of me each time. The salon itself is clean and very nice. Both visits I got gel polish and each time it has only lasted a week. The sides of my nails not even polished, left untouched. I was hoping for good results here since it is a nice salon, location is convenient. I just moved to this area and I am searching for a salon to visit but I don't think this one is a good fit. read more
