Well, the project is almost complete. On Friday, March 20, 2026, AVB's 2-man crew arrived and resolved 99% of the previously listed issues. We are still waiting for the gouge on the bathroom door to be repaired. At the end of the day, the crew said they still need to address the issue with the wooden bathroom door. And would be returning to finalize this last bit of damage. It is now April 8th, and we have not heard back from AVB about the door. We have already reached out, but have not received any reply. read more

I helped my elderly neighbor with her shower project. We reached out to American Vision Baths. Their agent John Stockton made a house call. I reached out for a quote for the Kohler Lux Shower. They responded right away and we set up an in home appointment to discuss what I wanted and take measurements. Keith was punctual, arriving exactly on time, respectful and knowledgeable. The quote was higher than I wanted, but with everything they do and the warranty, it was worth it. Because I wanted time to make a decision on the price, I had to have a second in home appointment to discuss financing. Once again, Keith was on time, respectful and knowledgeable. There was a little bit of a communication fail between setting up financing and scheduling and install date as I heard nothing for 2 weeks. Then I got a call and was advised everything had been ordered and I will hear back with an install date. Come installation day, David, Diego and Cesar arrived, in 2 days they demolished my previous shower, updated the plumbing and installed the new shower. We are very pleased with our tub to walk in shower conversion. Our consultant Keith was scheduled within days of my inquiry. He arrived with a full complement of samples, which made our choices simpler than just dealing with photos. We were going to go with a patterned wall, but in the end, white won out as most versatile. Keith answered all our questions and we were confident we were making a good choice with Kohler backed installers. I am not sure how the value/cost ratio plays out, since it has been a couple of decades since our last remodel and material and labor costs have gone up. But we have learned that quality products and quality installs pay for themselves in time. It took nearly 8 weeks for all our materials to arrive and we were scheduled based on our availability. David and Jordi arrived on time each day and were professional, polite, kept the mess and disruption at a minimum. The main water supply was only off for a couple hours, and only on the first day. They were done by mid day each day and left no debris. The install is a great upgrade to our hall bath in our 1960 home. These Kohler units seem to be very high quality, with a lot of thought into practical use and long term use. When it is time for the master shower to be remodeled, we will use them again. read more

My overall experience was very good. In particular the two guys who did the installation - Jerry and Francisco did a great job. They were very courteous , wore a mask when inside the house or needed to talk with me, cleaned the bathroom area of all debris/dust, etc when they were done and made sure everything was to my satisfaction and before leaving. The one thing that I would suggest to AV is to either hire a design expert or do more training on that with their sales people. I worked with Dan and he was a good sales rep but I think I would have benefited from having someone help me with design options such as what wall coloring/colors would work best, clearer details on the different shower door and other accessory options. This would cut down on requested changes, the need to redo quotes and improve customer satisfaction. That said, Randy at AV has made every effort to make sure I am happy with the final product and I do appreciate that. Overall, I'm pleased with the quality of the products and the workmanship of the installation team. read more

Luis and his team finished installing our new shower within 1 day. Luis and his team came on time and made sure to covered our carpet staircase to prevent any mess that might have occurred. His team worked diligently, communicated with us throughout the day, and cleaned up nicely. Within a day, we got a new shower. Luis came the next day and finished the last minute touch ups and installment in an hour. He is very nice and explained everything to us. We were in need of a handicap-accessible roll-in shower with a ramp. We received consultations from three other companies. American Vision was the only company that had purpose-built accessible roll-in shower options. It did take nearly 4 months for all supplies and fixtures to arrive, but we were kept informed. This 5-star review is primarily given to the customer service and the installers of converting a tub/shower into a walk-in shower. I would have given a 3 or 4 but the praise of 5 goes to the support team who helped turn a potentially disastrous situation into a beautiful, finished project. What was supposed to be a 2-day job turned into 4 due to lack of internal communication between the sales/design consultant, support staff and the installers, who we felt badly for but saved the job. Luckily, because of a cancellation by another client, two teams of installers were sent. Without going through the whole fiasco, I must give kudos to Jose S. and David who came up with great solutions and executed them with much labor, time and sweat. They never lost their cool or patience and we worked together to compromise on an acceptable design outcome. The two assistant/helpers, Jordi and Ricardo were equally hard working and friendly young men. I think they learned a lot from Jose and David from this project. I also want to give a shout out to the customer service coordinator, Adrian, who kept in communication with me before and during the project. Adrian was extremely knowledgeable of design/installation and understood when we discussed what was going on. His patience and professionalism never waned. AVB never made us feel they were rushing to finish but their main goal was to "make the customer happy and pleased" and would stay on the site for as long as it would take. I think too, that the installers learned many things from this experience but felt much could have been avoided with more design input between the salesperson and us along with more communication between departments and installers. Would I recommend American Vision Bath?....ask for Jose or David as installers. BTW, the shower looks great! read more
