Service was so unreliable today. Brought my car to get tires rotation and balance. I told them I was waiting. About 45 min later. I got phone call and txt saying my car is ready. I went to a service rep and he told me to just sit down there and and they come out call your name. I'm like waiting, waiting see those tech coming calling other people their car is ready. I went to look at parking lot and see my car park outside. I went to service rep agian and ask for my car cause I was waiting for 30 min after the call. The rep check the box with the done work and finally give my keys. The service rep in red shirt who told me to sit down there and wait for them to call my name never come check on me. I came up to yoy and ask for my car cause i got call say its ready but he didn't even go check since they put the done work pack in thr box. Maybe because my appointment is just a tire rotation and didn't make any money for them so they put me at the bottom service. Also, I question if they really rotate my tires. Because I had one rear passenger wheel that was different than others. They didn't rotate to the front but rotate to the rear driver side. I always thought they rotate in X patern.. Rear tire to front and front tires to the rear. Seems like they rotate side to side cause my right rear rototed to left rear. read more

My mother's car was brought in to put a new set of tires. Upon picking up, car was sitting in the parking lot and thought all was well. Got paperwork saying everything checked out and car was ready to drive home. There was a slight noise when pulling our car out of the parking spot but didn't think too much of it as we got the all clear to drive home and we thought it could be normal since new tires were just put on. Drove on the freeway back to Castro Valley (luckily it was 10 minutes away) but tire pressure light came on halfway through on the freeway. Got home and come to find out that the tire was actually over inflated to 75 psi - they had totally forgot to deflate the tire to the correct psi after replacing the tire. This was a very scary experience but luckily the tire did not explode while being driven on the freeway. read more

We purchased tires here a year or so ago and things were fine. But this morning I went to get into my car to find flat tire caused by a nail. I called America's tire to find out my options. I was told I didn't need an appointment and the wait time would be about an hour. Since the tire was practically flat, I couldn't even drive it to the gas station to get some air in it. My husband changed the tire to the spare and we drove over to drop it off. We were greeted immediate and got checked in. They said it would be about an hour or so and that they would contact us once it was done. I mentioned to them that it was the first time we ever pulled out the spare and it looked a bit flat. Before I even got home, I was send a link where I could see my cars status online. Within an hour, I got a text saying my car was done. I went to pick it up and that was quick and easy. There was no charge for the flat repair. They topped off the flat and even installed it back under the car. (My husband was especially happy about this since he didn't have to deal with it!). The store was clean, and spaced out with safety precaution. Staff was super friendly and did not pressure or try to upsell me anything. Tire blew out near Ashley Home next to Wheel Works. TLDR: Wheel Works didnt want the business as it was close to 6pm (you can read my review over there). Called Morgan at AT - had the car towed here at close to 7pm and they were still here and willing to take care of me. Checked my car in, took my keys (Morgan said they would park the car inside o/n) and looked at tire availability. I wanted the Sumitomos - they were coming in tmw! We always purchase our tires at America's Tire for their replacement certificates. Last week, I ran over a huge rock on I-680 which ruptured the front tire of our Audi Q5. With America's Tire Replacement Certificate program, the new tire cost us nothing except for the cost of another replacement certificate at $40. Without the warranty, it would have been $450 for one tire. Although we got the same spiel to replace all 4 tires, the existing tires were only replaced 7 months ago. So we only needed to replace that 1 busted tire. The Dublin Store's employees have always been polite and courteous. read more

Disclaimer: this happen the weekend of November 8th. I am from Sacramento, but My tire blew up on the freeway in dublin. Once I put my spare tire(a normal tire, not a donut) on, I decided to go fill it with air with americas tires. Once I got to americas tires, I spoke to a guy in the air fill station. guy #1 let me know my tire was too low for their system to fill my tire. He told me to go to the gas station next door to fill it up a little so their system could do the rest.. When I got to the gas station, I noticed my tire was ACTUALLY falling apart in one area(not just flat). The tire was cracking from the inside out, but guy #1 did not say anything about that, (nor did I noticed this before I got there). This to me is a safety hazard and a complete waste of time. He could have just told me my tire was falling apart and to see the front desk instead of driving down the street to a gas station... Instead of going into the air fill line, I went inside the store. I spoke to guy #2 about what happened and he said he will get my tires checked out. Guy# 3 came to my car and said "the tire is no good. It's clearly damaged from the inside out. You need a new tire." Okay, Great, let's get it going. Fast forward, they called me to pick up my car at 5pm. I arrived at 6pm, got my keys from the front desk, and went on my way... but as I walked around to my car to check on the tires.. what do I see.... to a FLAT tire!!! So I went into the air fill line AGAIN! Told Guy #4 they just put this tire for me today, but it's flat. What the heck? He said "I filled it but it seems you have a leak. We are technically closed right now, so you will have to come back tomorrow to get an appts" I'm not from dublin... and I did not feel comfortable driving back to Sacramento on a leaking tire... so I had to get a hotel room... (not cheap). The next morning, (is the reason I'm giving this an extra star)... I showed up at 8:30am, spoke to Michael L. about the series of events that transpired over the last 15hours and that I was getting annoyed of the situation. He understood and said he would get my car into a bay within the next hour to see what was going on. An hour later Michael called and said my car is good to go. I've dropped my co-worker off here before he said they have great service. I've been to many tire shops and repair shops like this. I was a mile out from work this morning and noticed a sound coming from the ride side of my car. Got out and found a screw in the middle of my tire. CO-worker said give America's Tire a shot. Happened to be the closest to me from my work location. All I have to say is that they will get my future business. I was expecting to pay for a tire repair and had my wallet out and the emplyee said if we can fix it you pay nothing for the tire repair. Now back to the many shops I've been to non of them ever offered any service from their shop for free. I've had to pay for tire repairs from other shops but no this one. I had to come back with a new rim and I think the notes were in the computer. I won't say which demographic but a person that was a different demographic was helping me and wow, he seemed really uncomfortable. It could've been because I had my mask on too I guess. The guy gave me a hard time and even started to charge me for a warranty item (I was trying to keep the old wheel and tire but he didn't tell me it would void the warranty and continued to charge $260 instead of $25 for the hazard renewal). I started to hand him cash to pay at one point and he told me to use the credit card machine. It was all very interesting but we ended up getting it straightened out. Now, for pick up, some bloke by the name of Tom was assisting. Yep, he must be the manager because he didn't need guidance to assist nor did he confuse the situation. I told him they forgot my rim so he goes and finds it, packages it and takes it to my car even though I told him I could take it. If Tom can train everyone to be like him, this will be the best America's Tire in existence. read more

Believe it or not, I found myself in this shop 3 times in the past two weeks! First, my son picked up a nail on the road in his car. It was mid-tread, but they said the edges of the tire were worn out so we had to buy a new tire. No biggie. But they tore up the @$&! out of his painted rim. We were planning to return to buy the other 3 tires on next payday. We will let you all know if they remedy the damage. Second, I got a nail in my minivan tire just about a week later, just about the same position, mid-tread. That was repairable. Third visit, a couple days later to buy new front tires. On this visit, I actually drove into the garage. (For the 2 flat tires, we carried them in and returned the next day to pick them up.) I scheduled an appointment for 9:30 and arrived about 10 minutes early. I paid in advance and they asked me to wait in the car because there was one car ahead of me. I waited about half an hour. Then a very polite young man came out and directed me into the shop and onto the service rack. They do not touch the inside of your car. I went outside and waited about half an hour while they changed the two tires. Oh, when they fixed the flat, they mounted the tire backwards, so that the white lettering was showing. They corrected that mistake on this visit. All 3 tires done within about 30 minutes. Then they had me get in and drive my vehicle out. My son gets paid on Tuesday. We plan to return to buy 3 more tires and we'll let you know what they do about that scratched up rim. read more

Thought that I would actually leave satisfied but I will not recommend this place to anybody. Made an appointment to repair my flat tire that had a screw with a piece of car in the middle on it (photo below). My car is new, I drove only 1500 miles and had it for about 3 months. They said 45 minutes to an hour so I decided to walk around. I got a call about 15 minutes later and they said that the whole is too big for them to fix and that I need a new tire. They don't have the tire for my car in stock but the other tire that they have would work just fine. Both of the tires are $135. Just because I'm a young female it doesn't mean that I don't know that you're just trying to get my money. I called my dad and he said to buy a tire repair kit and he would fix it for me himself. I got the kit which is $15 and my dad repaired my tire in a minute. However, they took the tire off the rim. My dad obviously wouldn't be able to put it back so I called and asked them to put the tire back on the rim because no one asked them to that in the first place. They said that they don't believe that the tire is safe to drive so they won't put it back on the rim. You don't believe? Really? But who asked you to take it off the rim in the first place? Besides, if you can't fix the issue, just say so right away, don't waste my time and I won't waste yours. Found another place, valley tire service. Called them and explained my situation, the guy checked my tire for leaking and he said my dad did a perfectly fine job and the tire is fixed. He balanced them out, put the tire back on, and checked the pressure. Very professional and the job was done within 10 minutes. Would be a good review if they actually would do what they are asked for and not try to rip people off. read more

The inspection went well but not in my favor. I needed a new tire. Why change just the one so I decided to do all 4. It was busy that day but they were courteous and helpful. I didn't feel rushed. I didn't feel pressured to buy. After my quote, I left and made some calls for other pricing on tires. They offered the best deal BUT also price match BUT they had the tires I wanted with the best turnaround time! I went there in the late afternoon. Came back the next day for my appointment and I was done in about an hour. The whole ordeal was quick and painless. Friendly, courteous, and professional service. I've made a couple of visits to this particular America's Tire location simply for the reason of getting a free tire pressure check, or even when major tire repair is needed. The other day, with my soft balding tires (all four), I accidentally ran into a curb and ended up puncturing a large hole in one of them. Pretty much a non-repairable hole. So, I setup an appointment online, and ended up showing up an hour late. And even though I was late on a Saturday afternoon, there was no issue as this place was just 'on-and-off' packed. I'll also assume that three servicemen working the counter is good enough for them. As I wait a bit in line and not too long after, I was helped by David, who seemed to know his stuff. I asked him for deals, and was able to show me a few. I didn't even know that my punctured tire was under warranty. So David honored that, and basically didn't charge me for a fourth tire. All Pirelli's, and all under warranty for 70K miles. $120 per tire, plus balancing, certificates, tire rebate, and repairs included. As I was awaiting my car to be the next one serviced, I was told the service time would last about two hours. Well, they were got the job done within an hour. In comparison with their other locations I've been to, like San Ramon, Concord, and Walnut Creek, this one is probably the largest. I feel this one is also a bit most organized. Very busy shop! I usually go to Big O but they couldn't get me in- I don't know if I'm getting a good deal here...but my review is more about service. This location has numerous technicians and their counter staff is professional enough. I'm floored at the way folks are yelling at these employees. Kind of astounding to watch as people yell at service technicians for nothing. Tom their manager got his head ripped off by a Tesla owner and he was remained so calm and kind while he was being eviserated by a customer. After a very long work day I got a flat tire and was quite a ways from home. By the time I got to America's Tire, it was about 2 and a half hours before they were supposed to close and the lobby was full. But Cory called me up to the counter and after explaining my situation, not only was he unbelievably kind, he was able to get me in and said that though my car might not be ready until after hours he would make sure my tire was fixed. The staff at this location was incredible, despite being a little behind and receiving rude comments from other customers, each one of them kept a positive and professional attitude while delivering wonderful service. Now again, I don't live in the area but I would recommend this location to anyone who lives nearby or is just passing through. Possible tire sensor issue on tires not purchased there and which had been serviced recently by another company. As we are traveling on vacation, we needed assistance. Jeff listened and offered to test the sensors. They were fine, but the reset apparently had not worked. I went in for a tire rotation on a Monday morning. It was busy, but the service was quick and efficient. The service advisors were friendly, patient, and attentive both in person and on the telephone. The place is very clean with a good size waiting area. I was told the service would take an hour to complete...however, it was completed in 33 minutes!! Great job! Late yesterday afternoon, I had a low tire alarm and stopped here where I purchased my tires. They told me all tires were low, pumped them up and said I should come back if the alarm came back on. In the 4 miles I drove home, plus a mile to the gas station, one tire was at 15. I filled it up and went back home. By morning it was completely flat. AAA found a small piece of metal in it and patched it. Americas Tire has lost my business. They checked the depth of the tread, but not the source of the leak. read more

The last ride Paul Walker ever took was in a car that had 9 year old tires and I believe he would still be alive today if that car had come through these doors. Just because your tire tread is still at an acceptable depth measurement doesn't always mean that it still has good grip or traction. If you don't drive much - perhaps you've got a bunch of cars or are an 80 year old grandma who just drives to church - its possible that your tires need replacing before they go bald. With the rainy weather I had some tires from 2011 and I could tell that when I stepped on the gas pedal the wheels would easily loose grip for a split second. I drive the car very little and although the tires looked ok still I knew it was time to have them replaced. This store only does tires - nothing else - as a result they are experts. They don't do oil changes or alignments - which isn't all that convenient but it does mean that the line here moves fast even if there are a few people in front of you. I got some Michelin Primacy tires that are made in the USA and I'm very happy with them. They have special ingredients designed to maintain grip as they age and the tire treads widen as they wear for wet traction years down the road. The price was super competitive too. Old tires were found to be a contributing factor in the accident with Paul Walker - he was in a car that only got driven seldom and so the tires were old from being out in the elements. When you walk in here there is a big sign that shows how they recommend replacing tires after 6 years and that 10 years is the absolute legal maximum age. Sure, tires might not be the most fun thing to spend money on but it is a necessity. read more

My husband took my car after work to this location on Dublin Blvd because they promise that as long as you walk in by 6pm, they'll check & service the tires, even if it runs late. This five star review is for Andrew B. He was friendly & knowledgeable and even with other customers ahead of us, he was able to check my tires and offered a great deal on 4 new tires and got everything finished by 6:10pm. Start to finish, we were in & out the door in 30 minutes, maybe even less than that. Amazing & speedy customer service is why we will always come back to this location. First visit to America'a Tire. Googling and found this location to be closest and but shorter opening hours because of New Year's eve. I was there 9:30 (opened at 9:00am). Check in was smooth and took about 70mins to inspect my tires (rear driver side and front passenger) each with a nail/screw. They removed both - patched and free of charge. While picking up my car I decided to inspect and found another screw in the front tire! What a day. They took the car again and text updated the status of the car. Spent total of 3 hrs patching up two tires with 3 nail/screws. Since it was a free service and New Year's Eve, I gave the technician who patched my tires a gift card! Saved my day. read more

I bought my tires here a few months back during one of their promotions, which makes their prices on par or even better than the warehouse tire shops. I chose America's Tire because of their quick and easy service. From making the appointment online, to their waiting area (clean) their service is far and above better than the warehouse places. Had a flat I had to repair today and I decided to write this review primarily due to their very thoughtful adaptation to the COVID-19 environment. When you first arrive in the parking lot an associate will come out and take down some basic info and then have you drive your car into one of the service bays. This protects both you the customer and their coworkers from additional exposure. Reverse process when leaving. No one has to enter your vehicle. I like this a whole lot for the safety aspect! During this uncertain time, I really respect and will support the businesses that not only take care of their customers, but their employees as well. read more
