Heard some buzz about Amy's great breakfast and the 200+ omelet selections. Have to admit it sounded a bit hokey. Nevertheless, my son & I decided to drive a little farther than we normally would for breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised. The menu is like a book but it's really well though out and kind of fun. The selections are broken into categories such as (for breakfast) The Usual Stuff, From the Deep, Country Style, Diet Selections. (Try #207: low-cal and cheap). Our server, Jonathan, was very friendly and efficient. Impressive that we had multi-ingredient omelet requests and he didn't write it down. He's got great memory (and the order was exactly correct). My son got The Original (Country Style) and I went off the board with a cheddar, spinach, tomato, and mushroom omelet. The omelets were huge, enough to take home. But experience tells that big doesn't always equal quality. Here it does. The ingredients were fresh, and the omelet was fluffy and moist. A single serving side of bacon was prepared just right; crispy but not burnt. And it was plenty for two of us with some to take home. Multi-grain toast was very good. Coffee was very good! The decor is sort of retro-country diner and it is well maintained and very clean. This place is definitely worth the trip. We went on a Tuesday morning and it was easy to get a tabe. I hear it's packed on the weekends and you could wait 30 mins for a table. I can understand why. Thumbs up. read more

I have been to this place four times, breakfast, lunch, dinner, then lunch again. Each time I was seated immediately and with a genuine smile. The three different people who served me were each a pleasure. Root beer was also reportedly excellent by my father's girlfriend. For breakfast their omelets are amazing. The variety is staggering. Careful, they do serve onions in their home fries, though if you ask you can get deep fried instead without onions. Their ham is excellent, slightly sweet and tender enough to cut with a butter knife. Most importantly the orange juice tasted freshly squeezed. I can't count how many places just open up a bottle of Tropicana. For lunch I had their hamburger. Again, they will shove nearly anything you want in your sandwich. For me I had the classic Bacon Cheeseburger, but asked for Cheddar instead. I also asked for Bacon and Cheese fries, which wasn't on the menu but the Waiter made it happen with a more than reasonable price. They didn't use nacho cheese, instead melting the same cheddar used on my burger with bacon bits. A+ for their willingness to please the customer. For dinner the waiter from lunch remembered me, greeting me warmly. I had the Barbecue Ribs half rack with the fried chicken and cup of Cream of Potato. When I asked if I could get chicken tenders instead they happily substituted for me. The soup came first and it was good, warm, and not heavy on the salt. The chunks of potato were huge and soft. The ribs were some of the best I've EVER tasted. I was quite literally licking my fingers with my eyes rolled in the back of my head. No exaggeration. Again I got the french fries, and they were actually better without the bacon and cheese, go figure. read more

Went in for lunch around 12:30 PM and seated right away. Ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken on top and an unsweetened iced tea. A couple of minutes after ordering, I wanted to add a bowl of soup but the waiter never came back until 10-12 minutes later when he brought the salad. Gave up on the soup at that point. Salad was fresh but the dressing was heavy on vinegar and very little oil. Didn't taste any olive oil. Grilled chicken was slightly warm to cool. Overall, size of salad (as compared to other restaurants) was small and had small amount of chicken. Not worth the $19/$24 after tax/tip. Waiter offered to refill my drink after I finished eating and giving me the check, too late at that point. I will not rush to go back there. Not terrible but disappointing. Enjoyed this place! My husband and I went for breakfast after reading some reviews on yelp. Menu is huge!! It makes it a little hard to pick what you want. I had the country classic - eggs, bacon, sausage and home fries with onions, green peppers and cheese in a skillet. Everything was delicious! Only critique would be potato chunks are a little large. I would prefer them cut up smaller and browned more. Husband had pancakes and they we really tasty! Waiter was ok. Definitely will be back! read more

Came here for lunch and had breakfast because of how large of a selection they had for breakfast and for how good the food was. The wait staff was very quick and efficient as well as friendly. The food was absolutely awesome they have nearly 200 different omelettes you can order as well as a huge amount of pancakes and other food as well. Any of the omelettes are good to order but no matter what you do you should order bacon cakes. They are pancakes with bacon thrown right into the batter, they are awesome and are a perfect addition to any omelette you choose. Bring a huge appetite because you will need it. I'll give Amy's a 5/5 with the caveat that it was opening week and there were a few hiccups. The waitress wasn't completely familiar with the menu, but very nice. Our table was moved a few minutes in, so they could accommodate a larger party. However, the food was fantastic, and reasonably priced considering the MASSIVE portions. I can always clear my plate, but in this instance, could barely get past the half way point! I opted for the breakfast skillet (hard to find anymore) and my wife opted for one of the hundred and something omelets, with lox, tomato, scallion, cheddar jack and hollandaise. This place stands out among the rest. The menu is innovative and what you want to see when you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast. NJ has many diners with great breakfast options, but this place can compete with highly rated city brunches. The chipped beef gravy tastes heavenly and there are enough options to please everyone, even breakfast haters. The only complaint I might have is that people are seated a little too close together. We got to know our neighbors pretty well. I was so impressed with the menu; there is something for everyone. My friend and I both had French toast. She had the banana crunch and I enjoyed the plain. Presentation was nice. Atmosphere was good- lots of families gathered which was nice to see. We were seated quickly and the waitress greeted us quickly. My friend and I both ordered eggs as a side (no home fries/no meat). Not sure if I'll do that again - should 2 scrambled eggs cost over $6? And that was for each of us. I really wanted to be able to give this place a higher rating but I can't. I normally go to the one in Burlington but they were closed so I decided to take my daughter and drive a little further to Cherry Hill because it was her birthday. The server came quickly to take the order but the actual order took a very long time to come out. I feel like maybe they were short-staffed because the hostess and I believe the busboy were helping with serving and sitting. We ordered the healthy man which includes egg whites, multigrain pancakes, turkey bacon and turkey sausage. We also ordered the flounder sandwich which comes with french fries and onion rings. The turkey bacon could have been cooked and crisp longer. Felt that maybe the french fries were rewarmed. The pancakes were not hot. And my fish sandwich was not hot at all. I actually ended up sending back the entire fish sandwich platter which they had no problem taking off the bill. Thank God the Breakfast Platter came with eggs with my daughter doesn't eat and enough meat and pancakes for us to share. I didn't even want to order anything else after waiting for so long for the original order. All in all if I'm in the area I will definitely give them another chance, but this first visit to this specific location was not a good one at all. read more

My daughter & I went there earlier today (10/3) & neither of us had any complaints period. She ordered the scrambled eggs & pancakes. I ordered the omelette with mushrooms, scrapple & cheddar cheese. It originally came with onions, but I subbed it for the mushrooms. Well my daughter not only loved how her scrambled eggs were cooked, but said her pancakes were fluffy. Not at all dry like some restaurants tend to be. My omelette was very delicious as well as my pancakes. I give this place a HIGH 5 star rating. It's a shame there isn't one near my town, but traveling to Amy's in Cherry Hill is worth the gas for me to go there. read more

Amy's never fails to satisfy me! The food is abundant and fairly priced. The service is on point and waiting for a table is never that unbearable because they have such a quick turn over. Was craving hearty breakfast food, stumbled upon this place on yelp, and was completely blown away by the selection, quality, and atmosphere. The restaurant is covered with vintage and quirky decor and the service was quick and friendly. I had the toughest time choosing from the extensive menu that literally had every omelette combination imaginable! I would come back just to give more of those interesting combinations a try. We got the Hartford (turkey bacon, tomato, avocado, provolone) and the Hatfield and McCoy (ham, sausage, onions, cheddar, chili, with home fries included inside the actual omelette). I was wholly impressed when they first opened. However, that has tempered over time as I have returned again and again to try to give them the chance to make things better. While they have an enormous selection of omelettes and other breakfast fare; their preparation and presentation is not what it should be. It seems that the management prides itself by hiring teens that would rather play and knock each other in the head then work with customers and address issues that need addressing. The last time that I was in, I was served the wrong platter, and by the time that it was fixed, my entire party had finished eating and were ready to leave. When I spoke with the 'manager' about this, I was dismissed and nothing was done about this. I called a few days later and spoke with the same person that told me they were someone else, and that they would look into the matter. When I arrived back again, I asked for the owner/manager, and was told that they were not on site and to leave a number for them to call me back. Long story short - the never called. I will not be going back and would nt recommend this establishment to others. read more

This is a really cute breakfast place. I have been here abut 3 or 4 times and can say it is always consistent. Service is typically friendly just depends on who you get. The food is always average to me. Its not bad but its not crazy good. This is a place where you go to please everyone because they have a little bit of everything, and like I said its always consistent which is a good thing to me.
