Honestly, Anarbagh is 4 star because it's consistent and delicious every time - especially take out. It's the kind of place you take your significant other when they're mad at you (assuming they're into Indian food) because they'll enjoy it so much they forget why their pissed off at you. It's also great if you're the one pissed off at them, just order the chicken biryani and ask for spiciest marination. Let them take the first bite. If the ambience didn't feel like it belonged in low quality mob movie it would make it to a 5 star. Can't win them all though. My recommendations: biryani, chicken tikka Marsala, garlic naan, and anything lentils. read more

I got food from here twice: once I ate outside, and another time I got takeout. I have to say, it's some of the best Indian food I've ever had. However, I had a waiter who wore a super loose mask that kept sliding down his face and he kept touching his face to adjust it while taking my order. Finally he just left it below his nose. I was so grossed out, as he was standing right above me and not caring about his distance to me. I asked him to please wear his mask the right way, but he struggled to keep it up as it was just too big and loose. He continues to wear it below his nose throughout our meal. I went back a few weeks later to simply get takeout and when I went in to pick up the order, he was there again with his mask, wearing it below his nose. He was also a bit rude, when I said thank you before leaving, he replied "thanks" without looking up from his phone. I write this in the hope that the owners understand so they can work to eliminate this behavior because I genuinely want to eat here again because the food was so amazing, but I can't bring myself to go in there again while this guy is so careless and gross around the food I'm eating. So good! Lamb korma was a highlight. The lamb was tender and the korma sauce was flavorful and creamy. We also enjoyed the saag paneer, onion bahji, veggie samosas, garlic naan, and the chicken tikka appetizer. All delicious! The only critique was that the chicken tikka was a little dry, altho tender and well seasoned. I'd still order it again, though. Oh and I wish they gave ya a little more mint & tamarind chutney. All in all my fave Indian spot right now and absolutely worth every penny. Ps the bread portions are very generous, so don't make the mistake I did and order a billion types. read more

This is solely from my pickup order, came to pickup after I called in for my order. Once I arrived at the time they stated it would be finished, it was not. The gentleman who was working stated it be another 10 minutes. That past and it still wasn't ready, I came back inside for an update after being told to wait outside for my order. Another gentleman went to check in on my order and it still wasn't done. I was in disbelief because it wasn't busy and I clearly called in before. Once I finally got my order and by the time I got home, the food tasted bland and wasn't as flavorful as I expected. Sadly will not give it another try. read more

I have only eaten Indian food very few times so I might not be an expert when it comes it. What I will say is this: Out of all other restaurants I've tried, this one takes the cake! I ordered saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, lamb tandoori and a side of basmati rice. Holy Moly, there wasn't a single dish I didn't adore. My, my, I've been hypnotized. I can't stop thinking about their food. The lamb was just so tasty and juicy and woohoo, spicy af but it was worth it! I know I'll be back for more. Hit and miss on most items but the food is mainly delish! The menu is extensive and food quality is also up to par! We're always excited to get the vegetarian dishes and have a great chicken masala 3/5 here, although the chicken was a bit dry even in the marinated sauce. Chicken Coconut Curry is pretty close in comparison to the chicken masala, but better 4/5 The garlic naan was disappointing but the Lamb Biryani was delish!! 5/5 The sag paneer is awesome. Aloo Gobi is another tasty dish 5/5 along with the Shrimp Korma, 3/5 however... oddly enough, the ginger is a bit over powering once in a great while. Yet, another successful trip to Anarbagh! This is by far my favorite Indian spot because their seasoning is on point and you can choose the spice level for each dish. Ginger fish is always my favorite and the Masala sauce is mind blowing. My only complaint for this visit was the chicken in the Chicken Coconut Curry had some dry bits in it. read more

I love Indian food and find the folks here are super nice, but the food is inconsistent. Sometimes we get fantastic food and sometimes it's downright not great. We've eaten in house and taken out. Definitely a difference- the portions of the take out are small and maybe it's that we're ordering more when we are eating inside the restaurant. I like to go here, wish more care was given to the wine. The servers, maybe the owners are nice and attentive. I would recommend this place but it isn't always great. read more

I have always been afraid of all the spices in Indian food so i never really gave it much thought. Came in on Thursday evening with a friend they only had one other table that was occupied. Ordered the vegetarian samosa which was really good. Got veggie cutlet also good. Got the fried onion which was also good. For our main we ordered the sag paneer which had too much seasoning couldn't eat it. So we asked the server for a recommendation and he suggested aloo something... it was potatoes with cauliflower and some sauce that was much better than the first dish we got. The naan was out of this world. They also brought over some complimentary baklava which were reallly good. Im only taking a star off because we did mention it was our first time having Indian cuisine but they didn't take what we didn't like off the bill. Overall not a bad experience. read more

This place is definitely awesome if you're craving authentic Indian cuisine. We came here for lunch and tried all kinds of food and I couldn't really think of anything I didn't like. Each order is made with the level of spiciness you enjoy so you can customize to how your threshold is. I ordered the lamb saag and it was delicious, but I also tried some of the others' orders (shrimp curry, chicken tikka masala, etc) and they all were delicious. Excellent service and delicious food - samosas, delicious naan, tandoori chicken two ways, eggplant bhaarta, veggie biryani, aloo ghobi, chana dahl, and a really nice bottle of sauvignon blanc. Incredible delicious food. Great service! Parking in this location can be difficult. Have only had take out from here due to COVID rules.. but they are clean, safe and very professional. Can't wait to be able to dine here inside safely once things hopefully return to some what normalcy. Prices are decent , in line with other Indian, Thai ect food. This is not fast food! Went for lunch. The food was good but nothing great. The service, while attentive, was lacking in accuracy. E.g. We had to ask 3 times to just get water and then our order was messed up- got soup instead of salad, lamb Biriyani instead of chicken. But then they refilled water fast, checked on us several times. Overall an ok experience. The lunch special gives quite a bit of food. We ordered the business special for 2 but ended up bringing the entire Biriyani home for dinner. read more
