The hostess was very apologetic and was trying to work out a solution which led to the Floor Manager (Karla) getting involved. We were eventually seated at another table, with the option to move should the other table become available. Karla then took the time to apologize for the wait and unfortunate first impression. As we got started with drinks and a pastry for the daughter, the other table opened. The hostess immediately came to move us. It all went smoothly from there. Table service was casual and attentive. We started with the Chocolate Almond Croissant and the Baguette & Bordier Butter. The daughter tried the Iced Matcha Latte. For our entrées -- Shakshuka, Patty Melt and Brioche Eggs Benedict (with salmon). I was eager to try the Potato Gravlax, but it was sold out. :( Everything was so, so delicious! Fresh and flavorful. A classic breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, hash browns, and banana bread. The eggs and bacon are fairly average, although the bacon tends to be overcooked and dry. The standout is the hash browns. They're cooked with a nicely browned, crispy crust while still remaining fairly moist inside. The real highlight, however, is the banana bread. It tastes homemade and is easily the best item on the plate. Crepes - 1/5. This dish comes as two separate plates: one with the ricotta-filled crepes and another with eggs, sausage, bacon, and your choice of fries or tater tots. Unfortunately, the crepes are the weakest part of the meal. I really liked the pickled tiny onions on the side (they should add more than two imo). We also got the fried rice and wagyu but that wasn't very worth it in my opinion - for the price you pay extra for the meat and the portion/quality of meat it didn't feel worth it. Overall the place was good but I wouldn't say it was worthy of coming again unless a friend really wanted to try it.
