I came here Saturday night with a group for drinks around 10pm. It wasn't too busy, and I was able to get a table. They have live music, which was the best part. The music was very good. They do charge an entertainment fee on your check, but it's a small percentage. I got an espresso martini, which I liked. The hostess was rude and after we spent 800 dollars, she said we had to order bottle service to continue sitting? There were no more people coming in for dinner and she was just impolite as some of us were still finishing eating. It is a cute place but there's a lot of areas to improve on. Andy's is such a cool spot and easily one of the most stylish bars in town. Opened by Anderson Paak, it has an incredible atmosphere with a big central bar, plenty of space for live music, and a great mix of people that bring good energy. The space feels like a classic older bar that has been given a modern, polished upgrade. I ordered an Irish Mule and it was made perfectly, balanced and refreshing. An absolutely amazing 70s style speakeasy that I will definitely be coming back to! Andy's WeHo is such a chill spot with delicious drinks(definitely on the sweeter side!) that transports you back in time to the groovy disco days- this place fills up pretty quickly between 6:30 and 7:30pm and it's a great place for pre-dinner drinks! We got the yes lawd! and espresso martinis which were very decadent and the $10 martini hour classic martini was very smooth and enjoyable too! We loved the live piano for the early dinner crowds this time, but will definitely have to come back for post dinner dancing and live DJ at some point in the future! read more

Came here to see what all the hype was abt- and I was not let down. The decor is super cool, very 70's vibes. Drinks were strong and good. Drinks are also very pricey, but given location, and it being a new celebrity owned hot spot you sort of expect that. The stage performances were right by bar, super close. Which was cool. The acoustics are great throughout. It is a small space, but makes it more intimate. My only 1 bad thing to note were the bathrooms. The woman's bathroom was super tiny and felt like it wasn't thought of at all when decorating. There was trash spilling outside the trashcans, it smelled pretty bad, the door kept hitting people waiting in line inside- and right outside is a narrow hallway where you can't stand to wait because it is a major walkway- If they could rethink that space- or even the decor this place would be 100% topnotch. The food was mid and the service was bad. I made a reservation for new years ahead of time for 6 pm for 4. Mind you it was raining. We got there at 5:30 I overheard the workers speaking in Spanish and I also confirmed in English the earliest we could check in was 6. 6 comes around and they told us management changed and it didn't open until 7 we ran into two other groups who were told the same thing. They offered to honor the table if we chose to come back. Unfortunately because all places were booked we had no choice but to we came back and it didn't open until 7:15 then we were let in there were four of us and they only placed three we had to ask for four sets as pictured below. The menu says it's open at 6 as well. The food wasn't great and PYT was played on a loop for a good while and we were asked to leave for a new year's event which started soon. There really wasn't much of an apology for almost ruining our night. Parking: valet is available for the restaurant next door. There's also a private LAZ lot down the block which is perfectly walking distance so we did this rather than find street parking. Ambience: like stepping into a funky living room from the 70s! The velvet and dimly lit vibe was just sooooo cool and felt matched with the music. We came at 530 and it was easy to find a reservation because the live performances don't start until 8ish. But the live music was perfect for my taste, not too crazy where you can't have a conversation so perfect for a date night. But if you want the amazing band, then come around closer to 10 pm where the place becomes packed. Service: top notch! Everyone is super attentive and drinks were amazing!!! Food: we knew this place was a speakeasy for we loved all the tapas but the pastrami baos were out of this world! We also tried the cucumber salad, Tokyo tenders, calamari, and fries! Very tasty! So many restaurants to try nearby if you need to walk to get food afterwards. My friend and I started with a cocktail called Places to Be which resembles an aperol Spritz. It was very refreshing. We also order some bites to eat including calamari and short rib. My only complained would be it's tiny and there's one bar so it takes a while to get a drink when they're slammed. TLDR: Manager (Ryan) went above and beyond to score us some chicken tendies at the bar. You don't need a reservation to still have a great time. Come for the vibes, stay for the vibes! For those who may be put off by the negative subpar reviews so far--I would just say give them a chance anyway. In my experience, if you're going to go anywhere the first month upon opening, you have to give them the opportunity to work out kinks. First month is basically QA on things they could improve upon and getting the flow of the restaurant down. I get first impressions are important but make those your own first impressions. My date and I popped in for drinks around 9p last night to check the vibes and was immediately greeted by a smiling host outside. The entrance was set up like a magazine stand which I thought was cute. The vibes indoor were immaculate--I think it's giving 70s? Although small (only taking up the bottom floor of the former Doheny Room), it was cozy. Everything was on *theme* and it really just felt like you were taken to another world. We did not experience pretentiousness as one might think you would at a new hotspot. It was just cool, vibey with an upscale "homey" feel. I can tell all the details were well thought out. I know the Houston Bros do a great job with curating venues and the details that go into each spot, so this one was no different. We didn't have a table, so we just stood at the bar and watched the live performer on stage. Although the space was small, everyone made room for everyone else and was just hanging out. The tables were small and intimate, which is the point--very reminiscent of a cute jazz bar or something in NY, but with a 70s twist. The bartenders were all female and had cute little outfits (although I think they should have worn flared ponte pants). The drinks were all relatively on the sweeter side but I think the first one (Blossom) was the least sweet. We ordered two rounds and tasted tested a few options. They were all great. I also appreciated the names of the drinks, but that's just details I pay attention to. --- And this is where it really solidified our experience. Because the bar area was closed to food, we tried our luck asking to see if there would be a table coming up. Although they didn't, the manager (Ryan) overheard and said he would grab some chicken tenders for us anyway at the bar. [ Wow ] He truly did not have to do that, but it was highly appreciated and noted. Girl's gotta eat! The chicken tenders were tendering. Crispy, juicy with a couple sauces paired with it. Overall, we had a great time. Unfortunately we had to dip before the 6-piece band pulled up but will definitely be back. We were asked for photos, allergies and what we were celebrating in the online reservation and when we got there, they hadn't look over or acknowledge any of that. I had to reiterate it t the staff. The floors at my booth were sticky. We had to sit and wait for 1.5hrs before music started, which was so disappointing for us. The server pushed for us to order things, and I felt like she wanted us to drive the bill price up for her sake. She offered me drinks twice after I told her I wasn't drinking. The server had a special menu that day and said she didn't know what it was. Interior decor is very cool. cant remember the cocktail I ordered but it wasn't good at all, so afterwards just stuck with neat tequila. I went on Wednesday night. Place is ok. They had live music. We sit at the bar and order 2 glass of wine, menu price 14 and 13. I gave my cc, to keep open tab. But bartender charged right away and didn't gave check to sign or smth. Ok, no problem. And i get notification on my phone that my card was charged, ok, no problem. But later when I checked my msg I saw that was charged 40$!!!for what?!?!? So went back to bartender, than he gave me the bill that was charged and closed. The bill was 37$, because menu price is wrong, wine price is 16$ each....and on top: cc fee 3% + sales taxes + entertainment fee 2%. Total= 37, still why I'm charged 40$? There's quite a few things to like about this place. Great customer service, the performers are very talented, and it's overall a lively and really good time. I would recommend getting an early dinner reservation at 6:30 or so before the crowd hits so you can get a feel for the space and chat with friends. It's gets packed around 8:30/9pm. Then everyone hangs around the stage. I heard that it can be hard to get in as well if you come late. Cons: They don't have the most expansive menu. The chicken fingers were pretty bland but the calamari and BAO buns were pretty tasty. They also make solid drinks. Beware, if you pay with a card they include 20% gratuity and don't tell you this upfront. Overall the experience was really fun! I'd go back. Oh Andy's, I wanted you to be great so badly. My boyfriend and I have been looking forward to pay a visit to Andy's since I saw promotions of it on IG. We initially scheduled for a table on Sept 29 on its opening weekend, but I ended up receiving a text and email several hours before our reservation that they had to cancel it on us due to issues with kitchen equipment. I called several times to ask for a reschedule to no avail. I sent them an email and requested via Seven Rooms for our reservation to be moved to a different date, crickets. No biggie, we could always pop in another time. I'll give some leeway considering it was their soft opening weekend. Finally got the chance to go in today for a couple of drinks and quick eats. We were received quickly at the door and seated immediately. First impressions of the interior give a cozy yet refined interpretation of a 70's bar with that retro flair. We sat behind a giant shelf that completely blocked our view of the stage, so if you're booking and are hoping to enjoy a performance (more on that later), be sure to request for a table with a view of the stage. As we looked through the menu, apparently the day we went, almost half the cocktails on the menu were unavailable for whatever reason. Unluckily, those 4 cocktails were the only ones that caught my eye and the fact that they all happened to be unavailable was pretty disappointing. No matter, it was too early for my spirits to dampen. On the other hand, we arrived during happy hour so we started with a Silk Blossom and a vodka martini. Their vodka martinis are on the (very) small side during happy hour, so you're essentially paying $10 for a shot glass sized martini. Their Silk Blossom was smooth and balanced, I got my vodka martini dry and I enjoyed that a good bit as well. We ordered the #19 Bao, Crispy Thai Calamari, and the Tokyo Fried Chicken Tenders. The bao was nothing to write home about, the pastrami didn't have enough salt and lacked depth. Maybe it would've paired well with a sauce had they accompanied it with one. The chicken tenders were juicy and moist, but the flavor profile was just alright. Seasoned, but not $16 worth of seasoning. By far the calamari was the best of the bunch, crispy and tender, paired with a sauce that was savory yet a tinge sweet, we honestly were on the edge to order more. Would I say it's worth $20? For the serving size, no. We stayed for a good bit, and I remembered seeing a live band being advertised on their IG stories. We asked our server what time the band would come around, and he curtly replied that he had no idea and dropped off our food. Yikes. So we asked our main server, and luckily she was able to explain to us the situation. So apparently a they have a singer/songwriter come up on stage at around 8 PM, then around 10 PM that's when they'd have a live band perform, and from 12 AM onwards a live DJ would spin a set. Wish this was made known somewhere on their site or socials since this is what we were expecting and looking forward to, but as we booked our reservation at 5:30 PM, there was nothing much happening in there. I was going to rate this 2 stars, but I'm giving an extra star just for service alone. Besides that one server that had no idea what their schedule was, everyone else that attended to us were pleasant and friendly. Our server was diligent and made sure our glasses were never empty, constantly checking in to see how we were doing. As our evening was about to end, we asked for the bill, anticipating to give a hefty tip for the service we received despite the lack of performances as advertised. We receive the bill, and our waitress briefly mentions to us in passing that gratuity is included. They tack on a 20% gratuity fee, as well as a 3% credit card fee and still provide an additional option to tip, so depending on how great your night made you feel (or how drunk you might be) you can add another 20% tip on top of your gratuity fee if you please. Long story short, we came into Andy's with high expectations, but left feeling there was more to desire. We would love to come in again to give it another shot, because throught all of its faults I do see a lot of potential of something that could be great. My best advice would be is to come into Andy's without any expectations at all, and just maybe you'd have as great of a night as they promise. read more

Yes it's owned by a celebrity and all and you can't find a table even though when you walk in, there are empty tables around but my overall thought is it's not hype enough for a club and it's not chill enough for a bar/lounge. The place is dimly lit and there were seats around with a bar in the center. It brings vibes of mobsters and sopranos which is a really cool vibe. The loud music though kind of killed the overall enjoyment. The drinks were ok... I think the overall consensus is don't order from the many and stick to simple classics like martinis and old fashioneds. The tab is a bit ridic. Drinks were $20ish but there's also a credit card fee plus an entertainment fee. I at least hope the entertainment fee is commensurate to what is being paid for the band.
