I live a couple of miles from here and always pass this spot. Over the weekend, a patient of mine had an order delivered and it smelled and looked amazing so I decided to order. The food was cooked and delivered within 30 minutes via Ubereats-still steaming hot! I ordered the chicken livers snack, the chicken gizzards snack, a small Mac and cheese and a cinnamon roll and my husband and I shared the meal. The livers were excellent, perfectly seasoned even without hot sauce. The gizzards were a bit too salty for me but just as good as the livers-I'd order again and request lightly seasoned for my order. Unfortunately, the Mac and cheese was wasted-we both took a bite and tossed it in the garbage. It was way overcooked and very mushy-like it was reheated many times over and had water added to it to reheat-and had a metallic flavor. Very disappointed. The cinnamon roll is good-it was warm from the rest of the order in the bag. I will enjoy it this evening with a cup of tea. Overall, I'd order here again but stay away from the Mac and cheese. read more

Wouldn't give items that were missing from a delivery order. I literally order 2-3 times a week from this place you would think they have courtesy for the loyal customers. I don't care if the uber driver forgot it, what good does it do to contact them? Im still without food for my family. Im asking for 2 drinks and a wing/waffle combo. Making things more complicated. I rather have a repeat customer then argue over some dumb food they can easily replace. Will not be ordering here no more. Will drive to tucker for another business I found Owner doesn't care either. I went here once in 2017/2018 and remembered how great my chicken biscuit was. I didn't mind the wait since there's clearly a small staff and a long line. Now 2020, my second time here. I ordered eggs and 2 chicken filets, the cashier repeated my order back to me correctly, and I got the wrong food because the cashier charged me for something else. When someone (manager?) came over to fix it the cashier says "because of how she (me) said it I thought she meant...". Stood right in front of me and lied on me. I told the manager that I ordered 2 filets. She's says "Oh, you just want the chicken, no bread". I confirmed. She yells over to the cook "Two chicken biscuits". I corrected her. She repeats to the cook "Yea, two chicken biscuits". I just took it. When I unwrapped a biscuit I was hit with the smell of fried catfish. Like an idiot I bit into it anyway, and sure enough it tasted like catfish. Good-tasting catfish, but it's still catfish flavored chicken. I went for the eggs but they were watery. I took it all back later and the same manager gave me a refund. She was really sweet then, very reassuring, and didn't give me a hard time at all. Boy oh boy this place is DIFFERENT! I stumbled upon Angie's place one early morning looking to try something new. Instantly I was intrigued by them having a salmon biscuit. I figured the idea is solid but the execution has to be perfect and let me tell you..I was NOT let down! The salmon was Perfectly seasoned and ever so tender where each bite just crumbles in your mouth into a smorgasbord of seafood + breakfast flavor. I always joke that they must put crack in their food because it is truly THAT GOOD! I tried their bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit for the first time today and once again the first bite left me speechless! Their service is fast and done with a smile which goes a long way when you're spending money at the crack of dawn. I had no plans to go to Angie's, but while stopped at the gas station, I noticed a line early in the morning and decided to see what was inside. Angie's is a small independent shop that focuses on fried chicken and waffles all day, but I got a few of their breakfast specials, notably the fried chicken biscuit and their steak biscuit. The chicken biscuits were on sale, two for $5, and the steak (country fried) were on sale, two for $4. I got a few of each for my family. The chicken was fried to order (so you may have to sit for 10 minutes or so), seasoned well, and the biscuit was soft, hot and buttery. I didn't try the steak, but was told it was also delicious. Customer service was great, friendly, and ultimately why they get an extra star from me. A couple of customers ordered a meal, then said they ordered something else when it was prepared. Angie's staff prepared the new order, kept it professional and got the customers on their way (who wouldn't show their receipts when asked to confirm their order). I like that they handled things they way they did. Instead of getting into an argument with the customers, who were starting to get attitude. Located at the corner of memorial drive and Hairston road, Angie's shares a lot with a gas station, but is its own brick and mortar store. Parking is very limited, but there's a few tables for sitting. Exiting onto memorial drive is pretty easy, but it's battle to exit onto Hairston. I've driven past Angie's several times without stopping in, and after giving them a try, I hope this little shop makes it! read more

let's start with the fact that the food is delicious! i got an egg and cheese biscuit and while it was a little oily, the flavor was amazing. we also got a waffle (regular and red velvet) and chicken both were delicious. the restaurant is connected to a gas station market so there really isn't a place for sit down but not an issue to take to go. the service is straight forward, they're trying to take your order and get you out the door. could be better but not the worst. overall would be back for the food! read more

Creamy buttery grits, chicken spiced just right and juicy, biscuit is award worthy! Saw eggs coming out of a carton and was skeptical.....shoot.. those eggs was some of the best I've had from a restaurant. Look.... I'm not getting any money from this place! Apart from meeting the owner today who was working hard on the grill-I have 0 personal connections to this place. But when a Place deserves credit- they should get it. At 1st I was like..damn....I paid almost $10 for what initially looked like a small platter(promise I'm not a cheap skate) when I got my food, it was huge! They down play how much they give you- pictures don't match the portions. You'll be full! Substitute chicken for the bacon- you won't be disappointed. I've driven past this place for years. Encouraged by a friend, it worked out that I was close and hungry. It was very good. I walked in to a healthy line. It was slower that I would've liked, but not bad considering everyone is operating on minimal staff. The mashed portables were 100% instant which is not a favorite of mine. But the chicken was fried to perfection! I'd had a hankering for some fried chicken and this place knocked it out of the park! The broccoli casserole was quite wonderful too. As a local I would love for this place to be a bit faster and accurate with the orders. We ordered two three piece chicken strips with a side of fries. A biscuit comes with the meal. The waffle was good and the chicken was crispy and we'll seasoned. I must say I was surprised at some of the comments so upon a visit I actually met the owner Miss Angie where she explain the change of management and re-organization of team members since then I've been back several times and every experience is like my first time.
