They have a wide variety of different types of crab, shrimp, oysters, scallops etc. I was drooling over the menu which included Jambalaya, Crab Cake Sandwiches and Lobster Rolls. Ultimately, I decided on my favorite type of dinner, a few selections from the appetizer list. My charismatic waiter/entertainment specialist (hey Konrad!) suggested the Charred Mussels, grilled vegetables in a spicy broth and an 'off menu' specialty, Gator Nuggets. I ate there the other night with my husband and 2 kids. There wasn't a wait which was nice for us! The host had colorful hair and seemed nice enough all though a bit all over the place talking to us and the people behind her and as well some at the bar, very social. We sat and got greeted quickly, and the food came out fast too! We ordered the hush puppies and friend picklesfor apps. The fried pickles came out a few minutes after the hush puppies but it wasn't a bad thing, it gave us time to crave them more! My husband and the kids ordered the boil and I got the catfish. The catfish was delicious and didnt taste fishy at all! The kids shared one bag and we ordered a pound of snow crab with shrimp. The shrimp came out a bit overcooked and I was worried as we've never been here before, but when I asked to speak to the manager, Priscilla got new shrimp remade for the kids and it came out in less than like 10 minutes and was perfect! I love this place. The food is always so great. The michiladas are perfectly spiced and refreshing. The clam chowder is hot and delicious. I wish the beers were bigger so I don't feel like a lush when I order three or more. The staff is attentive and the restaurant is clean. This is definitely one of those places you stop and ask yourself, "Why haven't I been here before?" At least I did. From the outside it doesn't look like much, kinda bland and not really a stand out. They do have an outside patio with seating and misters if you'd like, but today is quite windy and ugly out so we opted for a booth inside. Once inside it's totally a different vibe. The tables are lined with paper for easy clean up because it gets messy fast. The booths and surrounding areas are marked with writing from past customers. A great place for kids with no real worry of them making a mess or accidentally writing on something because they're allowed to ha ha. Decor was pretty cool and my 12 year old even got a kick out of it. We started off with clam chowder for my husband and the Angry Edamame for me. Both of us were very happy and how fast everything came out and even happier at how delicious it was. Seriously some of the best edamame I've had. Steamed well and the flavor was out of this world. The clam chowder was full of clam, great pepper seasoning/flavor with a really good portion. My son hates seafood so before we came we made sure to check the menu for other items. He decided on the chicken tenders with Cajun fries and coleslaw for his mom to eat (I love it) . My hubby and I decided on the Boil for two they comes with king crab, head off shrimp, snow crab, 2 lobster tails, corn, red potatoes and sausage. We added the trifecta sauce which includes garlic, lemon pepper and Cajun. We also added the medium spice to it. (I'm a heat wimp) It's a bit pricy, but it's so worth it! Filled us both up. My husband has been craving seafood so I'm glad it was as amazing as it was. It was all steamed well and tons of it. Definitely messy, but they give you gloves, bibs, scissors and paper towels are left at the table as well. The location was clean and service was pretty good. They were busy and short staffed like most places lately, but managed to handle their tables well. They are also hiring for anyone who may be looking. All in all it was a great stop. My sons chicken looked amazing, fresh not frozen and breaded well. He said it was juicy and not over cooked. His favorite by far were the Cajun fries. As promised I ate his coleslaw and it was good as well. We're already planning on our next visit. Don't let the outside fool you. It screams Sun City Vibe, but the inside is rocking and full of fun and yummy eats! They also have many different locations across the valley if this one isn't near you. read more

I did want to do a shot out to my waiter drake he made sure I was taken care of for sure thanks bro! Also the manager Charlie's made such to check in with customers and has a very amazing staff ! Due to the pandemic, I placed a phone order to go. When I got there, I was greeted with some smiles. The staff were very proficient at getting my order together and checking me out. Price: the crab legs were more expensive than I'm use to at $25/Lb. I'd expect being much closer to the coast crab legs would be cheaper. I just moved here from MN and was only paying about $18/Lb in Minnesota. I ordered the jalapeño hush puppies, 5 Lbs of snow crab legs, kids chicken & fries basket and 6 jumbo wings. The food was fresh, the portions were good and all of the food were amazing. The wings were so tasty! I love spicy food but I still want to enjoy it without the running nose, sweats and numbing feeling of my tongue. They definitely know there spices, I got (2) medium heat level which to me was perfect but don't be fooled, if you can not handle spice, stick to level (1) mild. This is now my new favorite seafood boil place to go to! read more

6/26/2022 Update. Went for lunch on 6/25/2022 at 1pm or so. This review is ONLY for my order of the island meatballs and shrimp basket. The island meatballs were tasty and I loved the little spice kick at the end, as it hangs for a little bit. Nicely done. As far as the shrimp basket, I'll wait on ordering that again. I'm not sure if this seafood restaurant serves frozen shrimp for their shrimp basket, but all of the small 9 total shrimp, they were all the same size and shape, including the breading. Which tells me they came in a froze box? Not sure. See the pic. Fries were tiny, maybe the bottom of fries bin? Not sure. All I know is that this shrimp basket I could have gotten at a drive-thru at Long John Silvers. It was NOT what I expected and have gotten on prior 10+ times I have been to various Angry Crab spots. Our server, Lila, was great. She was attentive and helpful. The food was piping hot and brought out quickly. The onion rings were really good and crispy not overly breaded. I highly recommend them. I was so disappointed in my food. I ordered the lobster roll. The edge of the bun was burnt and the rest uncooked. I did not eat the "lobster". It was mush and there was not any visible signs it was actually lobster. Sadly the fried clams didn't fare any better. Lots of breading and very little clams. My friend ordered fish and chips. She said it was ok. This didn't tickle my craving for lobster or clams. Wanted fish & chips for dinner last night-it was Friday after all. We were going to drive across town but decided to get somewhere closer & decided on this place. Have been to other locations of this chain and was very pleased. We knew it would be busy but was pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. I ordered fish & chips & the wife ordered a salad & chowder. We also ordered some onion rings-as an appetizer. We got our drinks refilled & still no dinner - or onion rings. You can see where I'm going with this. Finally, our dinner arrived and he kid asked if there was anything else he could bring to us-wasn't the entire order on his ticket??? When we complained about the missing appetizer he went back & brought us an order that had been siting somewhere. With our dinner delivered we told him to forget about the appetizer. He apologized & left them at our table with no offer to remove if from our bill. You could tell than the missing rings had been sitting out as the breading was falling of the onion when we tried to eat them. When the waiter came by to fill our drinks again we voiced our complaint. All we received was another excuse & no offer to remove the charge. By this time the restaurant was pretty busy & I was pretty upset & had little appetite. When we asked for our check we were offered some to go containers. Hmmmm...I went here to meet some friends driving through town. They had two dogs and wanted to let them out for a breather. I got there early and stood in line behind a couple that had a dog! They were seated on the patio. I was next, I told the young hostess that I also needed a table on the patio for 4 and two dogs. She immediately said that they can't seat us. I stayed that they have lots of tables outside and they just sat a table for a couple with a dog. She said sorry. I asked why and she said the manager just told her not to seat any more. This was 5pm, so they weren't closing. She just shrugged and said she couldn't seat us. We went across the way and got on the waitlist at Hurricanes. The young host said it shouldn't be long. And even brought some iced water bowls for the dogs while we waited. Yay, that's the way to earn new customers and redeem our night. Shame on you, Angry Crab for denying us a table with no explanation and kudos to Hurricanes for making us feel welcome. We order a lot and tipped well . A free tip to the management of Angry Crab...train your hostesses and managers to make people feel welcome. If they cannot accommodate, train them to offer an explanation. Not a shrug.
