Had a quick takeout /bite at this place that i chose. I have to say the burrito will definitely fill ya! and the guac and chips is good. Just wish the amount of chips given you would give a little bit more guac! As for the burrito. Nothing too crazy to talk about. It was huge! and it had everything I'd asked for. I would put a star down because it wasn't spread evenly if that makes any sense? As I was eating it... I felt like they put all the meat on top..then veggies...then sauce!? We stopped by to grab a burrito to share as we grew up eating Anna's Taqueria and usually stop by whenever we're in Boston to relive old memories. We grabbed a regular carnitas burrito with rice, sour cream, guacamole and corn. There's something nostalgic about the simple flour tortilla, chopped carnitas and basic fillings. Alrighty, so my perspective on Anna's Taqueria has changed, entirely! Now... I was told to forget the burritos & that the quesadillas from here are where it's really at. Of course, I was a bit skeptical since I wasn't too impressed by any of the burritos I've had from here in the past, I must admit, the quesadillas are worth getting! It's important to note that the quesadillas from here are not your typical quesadilla. It is basically their better version of their burrito haha. I'm not sure exactly what they do differently for their quesadillas, but I am absolutely HOOKED. I decided to walk over for lunch and ordered a Super carnitas quesadilla w/ my choice of beverage being guava jarritos (literally sooo good). For my order, I requested: -mexican rice -no beans -pico de gallo -jalapeños -habanero sauce -sour cream -guacamole -corn Overall, I definitely enjoyed the quesadilla much more than the burrito! The burritos at Anna's are very good unfortunately their service has really gone down hill. We usually do take out and tonight was the third time that they messed up our order. They forget to put things in the bag. So if you do take out make sure you check your bag before you leave the store. read more

I was not particularly impressed by the burrito here. I got a regular sized burrito but thought it rather small, given it was about the size of a napkin, if not smaller. The contents of the burrito were very wet, as if the excess fluids had not been properly drained or shaken off. The flavors were okay but nothing standout. The speed of service was a little slow but not excessively so. Inside has 2 floors, one ground floor where you order and a basement floor where there's more seating. If you are going to mobile order, or order off door dash, don't! I went to order in person and they only had one little station to make to BOTH all of the mobile orders and take in person customers. It was a mess. There were tons of door dashers just waiting for the food to be ready and many of them left mad and many more cancelled and just left. Besides that, the food was alright, just normal mexican food, but definitely not worth the wait during dinner hours. read more

I usually go to their Harvard Ave location but when in the area for a Celtics game, a lot of times we would park down this way and hit Anna's as a pregame ritual! Super Quesadilla with carnitas or steak - rice - no beans - salsa - guac - jalapeños - pickled onions - sour cream - extra green hot sauce The quesadillas are wrapped like a burrito but flaky and so MUCH BETTER than a burrito. Been getting them for years and still hits each time. Mind you not all locations are created equal. I do like this location and their OG. Some the other locations I've had like out by Newton were terrible. I am going on a 20 year love affair with Anna's. This was my first time at the Beacon Hill location. Mostly permit parking so that was a little bit of a bear to manage but I had to get Anna's while in town! This location is 2 floors, allowing a lot of seating for patrons. Went here the other day, food was pretty good, I got a regular burrito, added sour cream and that was an extra charge.. I did not like the service. One of the older ladies attended me but she wasn't even attending me. She seemed annoyed and kept looking around the kitchen to see what else she could do while serving my burrito. A great place for a delicious, balanced, and filling meal at a reasonable price. It's definitely more of a takeout place than a dine-in one (think: Chipotle vibes), but they have indoor seating as well if you'd like. Service is good and quick (order down the line style). I gotta say I'm a little confused by the other reviews of this place - every time I come in the staff treat me really well and the service is quite prompt. The ingredients taste nice and fresh every day - their quesadillas are extremely filling and I'd say for the $9-13 you're spending, you're getting a hearty meal. The meats are delicious - in my opinion the carnitas especially is far superior to say a Chipotle. The gooey cheese they offer to melt into the tortilla makes all the difference, too. I find the rice component a little bland but this is totally forgiveable given how flavorful the rest of the food is. Taking off one star for the somewhat misleading prices - guac and sour cream both cost extra here, and it is technically labeled as such, but as we are all so used to Chipotle, nobody warns us that they cost extra even though the staff acts like they're default components to the burrito. Don't get me wrong - I still get the guac every time because it's great! Theres a good amount of seating both upstairs and downstairs - nothing to write home about, but this is a great spot for a quick bite near the hospital! A gem of a little restaurant with some of the most delicious combinations of ingredients in their tacos! They are sold in threes or sixes on delicious homemade corn tortillas, served on slate plates. I was by myself and couldn't finish but one taco, so took the other two home, which provided two meals. I won't come alone next time--more to taste. My tacos poblanos with mole were outstanding! Best mole I've had in years! Can't wait to try some of the others. I will come for dinner as they have micheladas, as well as tequila shots and Rita's, not lunch fare for me. My friend from Boston has been hyping up Anna's for a while, claiming it's the best burrito he's ever had even after living in SoCal for the past 8 years or so. Verdict, pretty good but definitely not the best ever. Chipotle style restaurant, tell them what you want in your food. There's actually 2 places to order for when they get busy. I got the pork Chile Verde, since my friend claimed it was the best. Got the super, the menu says 12" not sure what they are referring to but my burrito was about 8" long, maybe the size of the tortilla. Overall, not a bad meal, I wouldn't say it tasted amazing, but wouldn't mind going back. Food wise, 4/5. -1 star for the mouse/rat we saw in the lower level seating area. This was my first time eating at Anna's Taqueria. I went to the Dedham location. I ordered a regular burrito and and it seemed like the girl who waited on me had an attitude while asking me what I wanted on the burrito. I asked her what beans she recommended and she replied " I don't know" so I picked one. Then I was told there are toppings which are at an additional charge which surprised me. I picked the guacamole. I go to pay and the girl yells over to the cashier " she got the burrito with guacamole which is an extra charge" . I think it was the way she said it which was not appropriate. I left feeling disappointed with the service overall. I got home looking forward to eating the burrito. After about 15-20 minutes I got very sick to my stomach and did not feel well all night and in to the next day. I am not sure if it was the beans or the other toppings including the chicken that I ordered in the burrito which made me sick but it definitely was something in the food. Where to start! First let me say the Anna's in Brookline is completely different! The people speak, kind!! On Cambridge St ?? They are so rude, give attitude when you ask for certain stuff and then don't even add it. Upcharged me $1.75 for corn, asked if I wanted pico.. didn't put it. This is a service, you already overcharge and give small portions- Whats the point of asking if your going to rush through my order. Ordered dinner from Anna's over the weekend via DoorDash and we had the Super carnitas burrito, Birria taco & the Al pastor taco. Both of the tacos were very good, although I was not given any sauce for the Birria taco, which was a bummer. The burrito was not my favorite unfortunately. I even added a couple things to the burrito, but most of the additions were lumped in the middle and it was still more on the bland side.
