We recently had a lunch here. Only had a five minute wait for a table. Service was good. We had the Bennie Burger and a traditional breakfast. Bennie burger was pretty good. A slice of bacon on it would really add some zing. read more

Arrived at 9 am Sunday thinking there would be a wait. Seated right away. Menu was impressive with some very unusual versions of benedicts, french toast and pancakes. I made reservations but not needed. The waiter was honest about the chicken and waffles ("there just chicken tenders") when asked. He brought very nice ice cold water. These are the positives! Order took a super long time to arrive and then all the food came luke warm. Lukewarm congealed biscuits and gravy is not a good thing. Homemade sausage patties were super salty, crispy burnt and I personally love salt. DO NOT ORDER. I can understand maybe if food came out cold because of a heavy crowd, but not the case here. Waiter checked on us twice and then brought us check once we requested it. Our breakfast must have been sitting there for a while for it to be cold. Omelette was dry. The hash brown benedict looked good and the best looking item was the cinnamon french toast, super sweet. Much better options elsewhere. I would even choose McDonald's sausage Mc Muffin over this place on the way to the airport. read more

I have gone her a couple times and the menu doesn't disappoint. Everything is delicious and super fresh tasting. Our waitress was super kind and even though we were seated outside, she was still very attentive of us! I got their lobster and brie omelet, which is super rich and perfectly cooked. I liked sitting outside, it was a tad cold because of the shade, but our coffees kept us nice and warm. Weekends are typically really busy, but if you can stand a wait, it's worth it! read more

This place looked amazing on Yelp so we decided to try it out. It was a short walk from our hotel, so we trekked over to see what the talk was all about. We immediately were seated. The server was the reason there was a star taken away. She got us coffee quickly, but as far as taking care of us the rest of the time she was pretty non existent. At one point, another server came and refilled our coffees and asked, "what are you waiting on? Jesus?" At that point, we hadn't even ordered anything other than our Pancake appetizer. Yes we had an appetizer during breakfast. They looked delicious and they were. Anyway, service was pretty bad from our server. Looked like the other servers tables loved her. Maybe she didn't care cause she automatically put the tip on the check. $18 for a party of 4, which we would have definitely tipped more if service was better. Yelpers are tippers. Let's get to the food. Pancakes..... I could have eaten even more. They weren't heavy and were just the right amount of sweet. 2 of us got the Mardi Grad Omelette, which was full of flavor. Another got the Baquezo omelette, which was ok. We asked for salsa, the server said she'd charge us for some and never gave it to us. She did charge for the salsa btw. Ok enough about her. Then I had the Lobster and Brie Omelette. I'm not sure I liked it. Cream cheese in an omelette isn't my fave as well as seafood, but the pictures were amazing. It wasn't that bad. It was still good. I was in need of a brunch spot asap and we found with lovely place located on Burbank. No parking lot of please let of street parking but make sure to read the songs. Outside snd indoors are available. They have an amazing from the normal breakfast to special items with a twist. Things yiu would find on like travel Magazine level. Not sure if they are but I love it when a place can really step out of the norm. Tried this place for brunch today and it was surprisingly amazing! The food is incredible! I got the chicken and waffles and it was delicious! We got the chilaquiles to share (with chicken, not chorizo) and it was also incredible. The drinks are also very good. They have a nice bar area with TVs and plenty of seating. A great local restaurant that specializing in breakfast dining. If you're going between 8-11am in the weekend expect a wait. It's a popular local destination. They have indoor and outdoor seating and a full service bar. The food is reasonably priced and most dishes are made from scratch. We ordered crab Benedict, biscuits and gravy, short stack of buttermilk pancakes, bacquezo omelet and the broken egg biscuit sandwich. All dishes were very well flavored. The biscuits and gravy were made from scratch and you can tell. The pancakes are a little thick and not perfectly shaped in a circle but tasted fantastic. Crab dishes used real crab and not imitation crab. We recommend they highly popular breakfast restaurant if you are visiting Burbank. read more

This review is a few days late but still deserves a review. First time here, brought by some family members who've been here before. As we got there, it was busy for a Sunday morning, people waiting to be seating outside, we waited 15min to be seated. I ordered the Southwest Scrambler, it was good. Overall I've had better elsewhere. The potatoes it came with were bland sprinkled with salt, I was expecting more flavor for the potatoes on the side. The small salsa it some with was delicious. Everyone else ordered waffles and cinnamon roll. They said waffles were good. The cinnamon roll comes with 3 big pieces topped with fruit syrup, fruits, and whip cream and the person eating it only could finish one as the pieces were too big and overall too sweet to eat the rest. Overall, it's not a bad place to meet up and have breakfast with someone, BUT I've had better elsewhere which might prevent me from coming here. read more

I'm adding a star from my last review because of their gluten-friendly menu that I didn't know about and for the fact that they let me substitute bacon for spinach on my Blackstone Benedict. Our brunch buddy has a lot of diet restrictions due to health issues and I wasn't quite sure if she would be able to find something suitable. The gluten friendly menu was a godsend. She was able to get fruit pancakes which was a special treat for her. For me, I'm watching my meat intake and didn't want the bacon. The server kindly made the switch from bacon to sautéed spinach. I most likely got up-charged for it, but at least I got what I wanted! Lastly, I really like the fact that they have the yelp waitlist. Really good spot! I found it on Yelp when I got set free from an early morning job after working all night. Nothing was open before 8am with the exception of this place and Dennys or Norms. I'd rather eat a dead bloated raccoon covered in garbage juice gravy than eat at either of those places, so it was time to try something NEW! This place has a TON of tables! Most of them were empty but keep that in mind when you want to go somewhere that can accommodate a lot of people without a ton of wait. I ordered the veggie omlette and grits (super bonus for having those!) I got extra spinach as you can see in the picture, but that made them forget to put the goat cheese inside that it was supposed to have (it was supposed come with goat cheese, I didn't ask for it). But the flavor was tasty for sure... even without the cheese. The grits were creamy and very good as well! I'll definitely return! read more

We came here for brunch with friends on a Saturday and were happy to find a new brunch spot! The wait was about 45 minutes, which is a little long, but our friends checked in while we were driving out there, so it wasn't too bad. We were able to find parking easily in a garage around the corner. I also loved that it was super dog friendly. There were several dogs on the outside patio. We were seated inside, since it was the first available. The decor and atmosphere is nice. It was nice and cool inside and the tables weren't crammed too close together. Service was very friendly and attentive. Our server came over right away to take our drink order. I was super disappointed that they didn't have the lemon fennel or the tomatillo Bloody Mary available. They both sounded so good!! I ended up going with the cucumber Bloody Mary which was okay. I had to add some more salt and spice to it though. The menu is pretty big with a lot of options to choose from. It was tough to decide on what to order! I absolutely LOVE fried green tomatoes, so that's what tipped the scale to the crab cakes with fried green tomatoes. It was served with a spinach salad. It was delicious. The fried green tomatoes were cooked perfectly with a nice crunch and the crab cakes (although not the best I've ever had) were good. The salad was a perfect balance for the dish. The dressing was nice and light. When I was finished eating, I was perfectly full. Everyone else enjoyed their dishes, as well. We would definitely come back the next time we're in the area. The food and menu here is next level amazing. It's so hard to decide what to get, but luckily everything is perfect, no matter what you choose. But I'm actually here to leave a review for Tika - the server of my dreams. From the moment she greeted us (which was before we were even blessed to be seated in her section cause she came to look at our baby at the host stand), we were obsessed with her magnetic energy and infectious personality. The food my wife and I ordered was delicious it was part of the seasonal menu. My friend wanted to come here to celebrate her birthday (and get her free pancakes)..so I brought her here to have a nice brunch. I saw they had a 25 to 45 minute wait but still she wanted to go..so I used their YELP waitlist check-in and we headed over. I checked with the server and we sat at the bar and ended up having a couple drinks. I looked outside and saw two tables available so wasn't up to the front desk and asked what was going on with our wait. The same girl I checked in with asked my name, looked on the list then said, I can seat you now. So I paid my bar bill and went out to the table we were seated at. It was a beautiful day. We were enjoying ourselves. We went back and forth on what amazing entree we each wanted. Then we waited... And waited... And waited! Two staff members came out side and made zero eye contact! No-one came to take our orders! I mean...SERIOUSLY! I then decided that was it! We've been here for almost 2 hours. Clearly this establishment doesn't need business. So I went inside, spoke to the same girl who took my reservation, ignored us and sat us and told her, I'm really disappointed! We have been extremely patient and no-one has even come to check on us or take an order! She apologized, which meant absolutely ZERO! What a joke this place is! I'm giving 1 star for the friendly bartender who made a couple of great drinks. But I can't say I'll ever be back! It's sunday brunch time! What a great find! Online waitlist was disabled but still worth the wait. Theres 1 hour street parking along the restaurant and down along the next street. Came around 9am and was seated around 930am. Outdoor and indoor seating options available. My favorite brunch friend and I love to share one sweet and one savory dish. Our savory dish was the lobster and grits which was selected by our server since we couldn't decide between shrimp or lobster. It was served with bacon bits and garlic bread. The first bite brought me back to my new Orleans trip. I love the variety of southern breakfast dishes this restaurant has. My boyfriend ordered the napoleon and that was a head turner. It looked like a massive stack of deliciousness. We finished off with the cinnamon roll french toast. I like the combination of cinnamon roll sweetness and freshness of the fruits.
