Met with a friend for lunch at Patys and had a delightful time. There is plenty of free parking in the back behind the building. Walking up I noticed plenty of shaded outside seating that was being cooled by a misting. We sat inside in a booth and all the staff was so friendly. On the surrounding walls I noticed photos that were signed by actors and actresses which was really cool. To eat I got the Firehouse 86 Special which is a chicken sandwich on sourdough with bacon, jalapeños, avocado, grilled onion, and Swiss. The sandwich was delicious and perfectly toasted. I love spicy and this could have been spicier but I loved the little kicks at the end of each bite. I asked for fries on the side and the fries were perfect, lightly crunchy with a soft inner bite. I can tell Patys is a local favorite because there were so many people dining in and everyone was happy and friendly saying hi to eachother. I would love to come back and try their other options such as that cinnamon crunch French toast next!

Diner in Los Angeles and it's playing total 70's music with absolutely delicious food and desserts. The servers are personable and fast. The food is served hot and fresh.

This cute mom-and-pop-style restaurant is located in Toluca Lake. The menu is huge. They have a variety of food options to try. they eve have healthy stuff too. I tried the turkey with stuffing and it was good. The chili and pie I had were just ok. The apple pie was very very sweet. And the chili flavor was just decent. Overall the place is a nice place to eat. Service by the manager was outstanding. She made sure I got everything I wanted and was very delightful. They have a parking lot for customers in the rear of the restaurant. Small indoor seating but plenty of outside seating . It's in the downtown part of Toluca, where other restaurants are also located.

It's been quite a while since I've been here for breakfast. Jessica welcomed us with open arms and a big smile. Jean provided excellent service, and a bussers checked in on us regularly to make sure everything was okay. We both ordered omelettes, mine was with Jack cheese mushrooms and turkey sausage. Really delicious, fresh off the grill. Hash browns and sourdough toast topped off a really good meal. This is our go-to for comfort food, where our puppies are welcome, and we get great service and food. Can't beat that!

Great service, good food, nice digs! I love this little diner in Toluca Lake just outside of Burbank. They have great specials, delicious breakfast and good portions. The service is excellent they have a dog friendly patio and plenty of options for lunch and dinner. There is parking in the back and on the side street. Come hungry!

Came here for lunch. The service was friendly and fast. I got a bacon and cheddar burger with onion rings - I liked it. My friend got a BLT with fruit. We sat outside because we had a dog. The waitress was very nice and the food came out quickly.

I've driven by Patys many times over the years. Rushing on the way to set @Disney or Warner Brothers or a fitting across the street. And I've always made a mental note to stop in and we finally did today and it didn't disappoint! Parking was easy pezzzy, in the parking lot directly behind the dinner, sandwiches by the 134 fwy. We sat in the wrap around patio on a sunny winters day. My husband ordered a chicken patty and hash and I, a vegan Cobb salad! So many vegan options and meat substitutes! Thank you, it's amazing. Both dishes arrived quickly, and were delicious, straight forward diner style. Love that! You don't find many diners around LA with healthy vegan options. I appreciate that! The price point for the two of us, my husband appreciated: It's 2x the cost at any adjacent local restaurant for lunch. The service was friendly and all the lil doggos sitting on the patio were cutie pies and relaxed. A welcoming, local neighborhood vibes. Now that I'm finally not rushing to set and stopped in, I'll drop by more often. Thanks for the chill vibes and yummy foodie Patys.

Patys! A Toluca Lake, Los Angeles must located on Riverside Drive just a beat away from Burbank off the 134 Fwy. They have parking in the rear off Clybourn Avenue as well as a lot of street parking. You can enjoy their outer covered patio as well as their patio patio when weather permits. Popped in on a rainy day after setting up for an event at night with my friend Shaun and realized I hadn't been to Patys in years and shown them the love they deserved. Patys offers a variety of American dinner style comfort food including some choice healthier options, gluten free options, plenty of vegetarian and an extensive amount of vegan eats including their Vegan Chicken Salad, Vegan 'Chicken' Tacos, Vegan "Chicken" Sandwich, Impossible Burger Melt (hold the cheese), several sides and starters. Most can enjoy their Sandwiches, Salads, Soups, Tacos, Entrees, Chilis, Lunch section, huge Breakfast section and Favorites. I don't believe any of the Breakfast items are plant-based, several vegetarian by default, but do know that you can get creative and they will accommodate. They do offer gluten free French Toast or Pancakes where applicable and it even says so right on their menu :) It's always five star service from the moment you walk in. You can enjoy classic booth, classic counter or classic table seating. Great lighting, tvs in their corners and loads of pictures from/of Hollywood legends. Expect touches of seasonal fun around holidays and various times of year as well as general full case of pies, pastries or desserts near the main counter in a nice display case. Patys has an extensive beverage menu with all the musts, from juice, coffee and tea to water variety, soft drinks (fancy speak for soda), milks (including almond), lemonade, beers, wines and other favorites. Open from 8am to 9pm, rain or shine all seven days of the week. Delivery, takeout and of course dine in, which is my top recommend. Pup friendly. Family friendly. Solid Wi-Fi (ask your server). Super clean all gender restrooms. Open to all, and all are and feel welcome. It's a good time, any time!

Had dinner here and opted for a tuna melt with onion The food was fine, typical diner food. The service was okay, but definitely could have been better. I'll probably be back, but coming here will be an afterthought. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

I feel like I've been here once many moons ago. After a hike, trying to figure out someplace for a meal is always a hassle. This wasn't our original plan but as we were walking to what was supposed to be the place. We saw Patys and said what the heck. The outdoor patio looked nice so we walked in. There wasn't anyone at the front so we waited for a bit till someone saw us. Even though there were loads of empty tables, they gave us one that still needed to be cleaned. It didn't take long for the cleaning. The gentleman also asked us what we wanted to drink while we were looking through the menu. Shelly, I believe that was her name was our waitress. Very sweet which is always a nice thing. For the menu, they pretty much had everything on there. Classic sandwiches, salads to dinners and breakfast. Started off with a nice cold beer after the hike. Food wise, the Cobb salad. There was plenty of grilled chicken on top the mix greens with bacon bits, crumbled blue cheese, avocado slices, and a hard boil egg. Also the tuna melt with a side of fruit. And one of the classic breakfast. Eggs, bacon and a stack of pancakes. Not to outdo the meal but a side of onion rings was also needed. Food wise, it's your traditional diner meal. Didn't take long to arrive. There's nothing fancy to it. Basic Cobb salad, but plenty of grilled chicken. Then the tuna melt, it was basic but did the trick. Breakfast, that was nice. Plenty of bacon slices which were really nice. And the pancakes, nice and fluffy. You can't go wrong with breakfast unless someone ruins it. But the meal, it did the trick. They did have a nice counter with amazing pies and dessert which we didn't have room for. Overall, it's a diner with diner food. It did the trick.

We came in for breakfast and were seated inside, love the diner vibe. Seating is also available outside and street parking is available. Friendly customer service and we were served pretty quickly. I liked the decor with old photos of celebrities visiting the diner. There's a display case of desserts up front which is very tempting and they all looked delicious. My husband loved his chorizo with scrambled eggs and even though I ordered a standard breakfast, it was hot and cooked well with crispy bacon. We will definitely return to try more dishes as well as some dessert.

First time at Patys! Cute little diner - and clean. Service is okay, our waitress was very nice but she didn't check on us for the duration of our visit. Only at the end when we were ready to get the check. We ordered coffee, chicken tenders & fries, and the buttermilk pancakes. The pancakes were especially good (I always order them at diners and these were 5/5).

Years and years ago, a friend and I would come to this place ALL the time. I'm obsessed with the fact that they have bran muffins. They have a ton of gluten free options, which was the appeal back then. Today, I came back with my boyfriend and can confirm it is still awesome!! I got the build your own breakfast burrito and practically inhaled the thing. I don't think my iced latte was anything to write home about, but my boyfriend enjoyed his! The food was great, the service was incredible! For a busy spot, I never felt overlooked. Servers all made sure we had what we needed. Such a fun spot. I need to come back soon and try more menu items!

    A real classic burger.

Could I take my 7lb dog inside?

I've never seen any dogs inside the restaurant.

Is the hollandaise gluten free? ? Thanks for responding. Please educate your staff, I was told it had gluten by the manager and cook.

Patys makes their own, egg yolks, butter. Fresh lemon, salt n pepper and a little Tabasco with a splash of vinegar

Are reservations available? They aren't a requirement for me, but I'd love to just out of respect for the employees to give them time to set up :)

I believe unless it's a large party it's always been first come first serve. And now that we're getting back to close to normal I'm pretty sure it's still that way.

So they have any vegan options? If so what are they?

I normally enjoy their impossible tacos! Or the impossible burger which comes with the option of a regular bun or a lettuce wrapped bun. There are other options too which you can modify to make vegan friendly. I also feel like their impossible…

Ambiance: When you walk into the Idle Hour, you're immediately transported into a dark brewery. So cool. Plenty of space for groups. The people who work here: all kind and helpful and on top of their stuff. This place gets really packed sometimes but even in the chaos, when customers are rude and drunk and break things they keep their cool, always. But don't treat them poorly. I will come for you. Chard is the GM and he is one of the kindest and most generous humans I have had the pleasure of know and is the mastermind behind getting the themed nights up and going. His ability to make a person feel welcome is pretty much unmatched in my opinion. The food: omg you guys the FOOD!!!! It's so good. They just changed the menu so I haven't gotten to try everything yet but the chicken dumplings are delicious. A bit of a kick but the best kind. The chili cheese fries that my friend had were also so good. Perfect cheese to chili ratio with the fries. There is a chef in the back who is passionate about food and making sure it tastes perfect so I trust everything is good. But if you are unsure ask the servers or bartenders. They won't steer you wrong. The drinks: admittedly, I mostly drink just screwball on the rocks. However every mixed cocktail I have had here has been perfection. Mark is the manager and he could be a mixologist, should be a mixologist, super nice guy who is shockingly good and remembering peoples drink preferences. Like a year ago was the last time I ordered cider and he remembered! The vibe: I wouldn't really call this place a dive bar, but it's sort of got a hint of dive bar going on. The back patio is really nice during the summer but sitting inside the barrel is fun too. The bulldog is kinda small so you won't fit a ton of people in there but it's still fun. Lots of places to sit although sometimes it does get packed and it's standing room only. Not to mention, they allow dogs!!! This is a great place to come with a first date. It's good for dressing up a little but not too much and there are some corners you can sit in so you can have a little closeness. But the staff will also keep an eye out for you. If you are feeling uncomfortable in any way, they will keep an eye out for you and help you out. There isn't a designated dance floor but they won't be mad if you dance in the area that you've got available to you. Just don't accidentally knock anything over or hit anybody. The music: Chard is usually in charge of the play list but even when he isn't the music is usually pretty great and there's a band that comes and plays on Sundays for a while in the afternoon/evening. I have found some of my new favorite music because of this place. Drag brunch: I've never actually attended because I've heard it gets a little crazy and that can be a little scary overwhelming for me, but they do it everyday Saturday and Sunday and that's been going strong for a pretty long time so I have to assume it's a good time. The themed events: this is the kind of crazy I can handle though. They have done lots of the rings, zelda anniversary, a Star Wars themed singles event for Valentine's Day, a scholastic book fair, and Easter egg hunt, their Halloween and New Year's Eve events were AMAZING, I could go on and on. People turn up for these events and they are just some of the most fun especially with the costumes you will see. Go to Idle Hour. I've never loved a bar before. This place is something else. I promise you won't be disappointed, unless you're one of those kinds of people who finds something wrong no matter how amazing the place is or you're kind of an entitled jerk.

For our side, we shared the loaded tots. They were crispy, well-seasoned, and a great addition to the meal. Service was good overall. The cashier seemed a little serious at first and didn't really greet us, but when we asked to swap out a drink, she was very accommodating and didn't charge us extra. There was a small misunderstanding when I asked about side options, but she quickly explained that another table had the menu and went to grab one for us. She was friendly and helpful throughout the rest of the interaction. The restaurant was clean, which I always appreciate. The atmosphere could use a little improvement, though. It felt a bit stuffy inside, two of the three menu screens weren't working, and it was very quiet with no music playing, which made the dining room feel a little empty. Overall, the food was definitely the highlight and I'd come back for the burgers and loaded tots.

The temperature, the music (80s), the furnishings (brick, stone, glass, metal, wood -- all top quality), the plants, and the service were exceptional. Third, if you are up for it, there is valet parking even for weekend brunch. This is nice because the neighborhood is a little grungy and that saves stepping over the things on the sidewalks that should really be cleaned up by the city. Fourth, the menu keeps evolving. Everything we had there was for the first time. All of it was perfect. Beautifully plated, served at the right temperature, fresh and well seasoned, delicious. Dre, our server, was all smiles and so efficient, she seemed to float around. She made the experience lively and fun. Pros: free parking in the back, bartender is friendly, food is offered, space is large. Cons: food and drinks were bad, games were minimal, damaged, with pieces everywhere, staff was off putting Examples: - my friend ordered a hot chocolate and said it was the worst she's ever had. The water to powder ratio made it more like tea. She asked for more powder. They brought out a Swiss Miss packet, and made passive aggressive comments about how they were going above and beyond for her and they should charge her double (she's not a picky person so for her to complain you know it's bad) - we only found three games in the place but they were small plastic things like flick the ball into the hoop with all pieces out of the boxes and laying randomly under a tv tray behind a bar table - the food wasn't very good - the waiter didn't remember he needed my payment for the two hours I was there - the menu was basically non existent because their fryer was down and so they couldn't offer most items - it was dark and hard to see anything - the owner and her relative took over our hangout for around 30-40 min, asking us to bring in our "actor friends" and help them get more business.

The food has been good during my visits. Some of my favorites are the sliders, parmesan fries and chicken wings. Check out the drink specials, the classic margarita, spicy passionfruit Paloma and bouquet of roses are tasty. Harvey the bartender is awesome. You may get a magic trick out of him on a good night. There is a 23% gratuity charge for a group of 6 or more. I was not happy about this on one of my visits, specifically because I was not informed by a waitstaff. Nice place, low key location, great service and good food.

Located inside Hotel Amarano (also a hidden gem), FYC (For Your Consideration) emits a classy ambience and a cozy vibe. This is a place where celebrities will come to dine because their privacy is respected. It's intimate enough for date night but also a perfect spot to catch up with friends. Of course, Te-See & I are always dressed to the nines regardless of where we go, but this time our fashionable wardrobe was the perfect attire for this chic lounge. Libby (director of sales & marketing) even came over to tell us how fabulous we both looked. We had an enjoyable conversation with her, and she told us many wonderful things about Hotel Amarano. I'll definitely recommend it to visitors and may even book a staycation for myself. Norm the bartender was friendly and attentive - engaging us with lively banter. I had the Bouquet of Roses - a refreshing combination of Kettle One Peach & Orange Blossom vodka, Lillet Rosé, Rosé wine, & peach purée. It was perfect for the summer evening. Te-See had the Spicy Passionfruit Paloma - minus the spicy. It was also very tasty. Anton also had the Paloma but spicy. I compared the two and liked the spicy version better. I had to leave before food was ordered but my friends said that the Shrimp Cocktail and Parmesan fries were delicious and ample enough to share. I really liked the vibe of this place and look forward to coming back. *Valet for the hotel or street parking.

The place is super chill and no one seemed to mind that we had three young kids with us. Service was as good as it could get! They were attentive and quick. I didn't have a good experience, but decided that it could have been a one-time bad luck thing, so I didn't review. I recently tried it again now that it became Brews Brothers, and I'm sorry to say that it really misses the mark for me. Here is the breakdown of the pros and cons: Pros: One star for friendly service and being dog friendly. One star for good alcohol. Cons: - Seating is very uncomfortable. When this place was Stout, seating was very comfy. But for some reason, they've raised the bench seating WAY too high, to the point that your feet dangle if you're under 5'6". You're WAY above the table, and it's awkward and quite uncomfortable. - Food is sub-par. We tried an Okie burger and an ahi sandwich. The Okie burger was dry, tasteless, and underseasoned. The ahi sandwich was bland and unremarkable. The fries were far too overbreaded for my taste. I used to love this place, but now, after two not-great experiences with meh food and bad seating, I do not think I'll be back. Please, guys! Lower your bench seating and improve your burgers! You're competing with Forman's and Laurel Tavern!
