Another Broken Egg in Elkridge has been much more than a great place to enjoy breakfast--it has become a part of our family's story. For the past three years, we've been coming here consistently, and the food and service have always been outstanding. What truly sets this location apart, though, is the leadership of owners Karl and Toni Young. They genuinely care about the people who walk through their doors and have created an atmosphere that feels welcoming every single visit. As parents of a student-athlete, we've been especially grateful for the encouragement and support they've shown our son, Donovan. Their kindness, words of encouragement, and investment in young people have meant more than they probably realize. They don't just serve meals--they build relationships. Karl and Toni have also been a tremendous blessing to the community at large, always demonstrating generosity, hospitality, and a heart for people. It's rare to find business owners who make such a lasting impact beyond their restaurant. Thank you for three wonderful years of amazing food, exceptional service, and genuine care. I love crispy edges, but these were just tough and hard to eat. - Salted Caramel Latte - Tasted super milky with an artificial flavor. I could barely taste any coffee. - Breakfast Sandwich - It was okay but lacked seasoning. The bottom bread was soggy, so I couldn't even pick it up properly. The potatoes were huge chunks with no seasoning at all. Service: I tried calling to place my order because the online system wasn't working, but the person on the phone gave me attitude, asking why I didn't just order online. When I explained the issue, he got snarky, making the whole interaction frustrating. Pickup was awkward too. I was told to go to the back, but when I got there, I had to wait outside for 5-7 minutes while the employee inside stayed on his phone. He didn't even greet me--just waved me in like I was a bother. Our server seemed either new or distracted, and after ordering two cold brews, we waited about 20 minutes before checking in with another staff member to follow up. That said, once our food arrived, it was absolutely delicious -- worth the wait. The cold brew was also very good. The overall vibe of the restaurant was bright, energetic, and lively, with a fun weekend crowd. While our specific service could've been smoother, other servers seemed more attentive and helpful.
