Had to go again to this spot while vacationing on Siesta Key! The last time we went it was phenomenal and 2 years later it was just as good if not better! Every item that we got was simply amazing and the food for kids was great! Definitely think you should get there early or in the "in between" time. We got there at about 11 and by 11:30 there was a wait. The Service was great and she was so nice to our two little kids (1 and 4). The ambiance is lovely! Better breakfast spots service was good but why they have cornhole right next to where people are sitting and eating is beyond me. If you are looking for breakfast I would skip this spot. My friends and I decided to check this place out since it was very close to our hotel room. This was my first time visiting Another Broken Egg Café & My experience at this café was amazing from the time that we walked in to the food. Our waiter , Matthew M. made our experience so much better. He even brought us some free beignets ( very delish ) as a first time guest. He cracked a few jokes and made our table feel welcome and cared for. Because of Matthew , we had breakfast there twice during our trip. Once we ordered, our food was brought out quickly, especially surprising because they were slammed. ALL four orders were delicious, and very generous portions. It is very diverse and had multiple options which made it more attractive. Our server was named Ashley and well versed on the items on the menu. You know I'm a sucker for coffee....so when they served a hot and strong cup of Joe, the restaurant made an instant great first impression. My sister had the blueberry baked French toast which was by far the best French toast I have ever tried in my entire life. I got the crab cake Benedict which was AMAZING. When I first ordered it I honestly wish I got something different because I didn't think it would've turned out as good as I thought it would. But, boy, did it exceed my expectations. This place is a gem. It's not just about the food, that's phenomenal, but it's also about the atmosphere and how you're treated. The hospitality here is the best I've found in all my travels. You feel like a family member. The servers are wonderful and down-to-Earth and you're greeted with a smile. Even when they're a full house, the food comes out quickly, and it's hot and delicious. As far as food you have to try: Key West Pancakes, Bourbon Street Pancakes, the "city grits", and I had a really good sandwich too with fried chicken, bacon, avocado, and some other stuff. I needed to request after our breakfast was over. My omelette was overdone and dry. The outside was brown, overdone. Very dry. Waitress never asked once if we enjoyed the food or if everything was ok. My wife liked her eggs, but the potatoes were not eatable because they were the most salty potatoes my wife or I had ever tasted. Based on tons of other positive reviews I feel like we just had a grumpy waitress and maybe end of breakfast rush tired cooks, but overall this was a total disappointment. That said, my iced coffee was weak, and mostly ice, and certainly not worth $4. It came with packages of creamer that you get in a gas station, so that was not impressive either. I ordered a Benedict on hash brown nests, and did not taste any ham and cheese in the dish as it was supposed to have. The hash browns were deliciously golden though, and crispy as hell. The Hollandaise sauce was also great. My partner had the basic Benedict with crushed bacon. He said it was a 7/10, but absolutely devoured it. He had a hot coffee that he thought was really good. This place is a must for breakfast in Siesta Key! We went twice in our 5 days here. The first time we went it was super crazy busy on a Saturday and we only had to wait ten minutes. She was so funny, and dealt with a very rude customer with ease, patience and kindness - she deserves a shoutout!!! Our server was great, knowledgeable and let me customize my own omelette. Great place. Great beach ambiance! Our waiting time was just under 10 minutes. They also let you have some bruch cocktails in the waiting area. You definitely have to try the tropical sangria based on coconut it's amazing, for breakfast we had the huevos rancheros they were really good and enough for two people. We add one chicken southern sandwich with grilled chicken,the bread was perfectly homemade and soft. We will obviously come back for the rest of our stay in siesta key. The siesta key village location is disgusting. It's dirty and old and the quality of the food is comparable to Dennys if not worse. Our scrambled eggs came out dry and crispy at the edges, like it's been sitting under a heating lamp for a while. Also very tasteless. What is the deal with American breakfast places not salting anything they cook. It boggles our minds. The mimosa my husband ordered was a joke. After YEARS of coming here on our vacations, this past visit was an absolute joke and probably our last. We had a party of 10. We've always had to split up the party into 2 tables, which is never an issue. I MADE CLEAR that I wanted to pick up the check for the entire party from the time I put our name into the wait list on the phone, to when I checked in at the host station (twice), and our server. For some ridiculous reason, we had 2 separate servers for our 2 tables, which itself is fine, but they HAD TO give us TWO checks. I still can't believe I'm writing this because of how RIDICULOUS it is. On top of that? They let someone at the other table pick up up the check for their table. We flagged down the waitress for the other table asking for drinks, and she said that another server had to wait on us. In the middle of explaining our situation, she just walks away. This waitress didn't want to chance getting a bad tip from me, so she gave the other check to someone at our other table, KNOWING I'd give her a bad tip. The waiter for our table was Rico, and he did a great job. Management gave us a free entree, which was a nice gesture, however, this policy of 2 separate checks with one party of 10 is absolutely asinine and caused an unnecessary amount of confusion. Perfect brunch spot right on the beach. Food was fast, fresh, perfectly proportioned and absolutely delicious. Plenty of healthy options but my favorite was the chorizo omelet with cream cheese! I ordered a bloody Mary and was immediately disgusted when I had a rotten carrot and completely dried out rotten what appeared to be a lime garnish for my drink. For my meal, thank goodness I got the hollandaise sauce on the side because it was so tart it would've ruined my entire meal. I got the cheese on my potatoes and they couldn't have been more bland even with the cheese. My friend got a coffee drink and asked for a side of espresso to add more coffee flavor and after receiving it in a plastic dressing take-out cup we later found out that they actually don't have espresso even though that is what he asked for. The waitress made no mention of the fact that they didn't brew any espresso on site and that what he received wasn't actually a coffee. Waited a long time to try this place out and unfortunately have zero reason to return. There are too many other good places in the area worth trying. As someone that used to own a food establishment i don't take negative reviews lightly and went there based on the positive reviews and was completely disappointed. read more

Came to Siesta Key about 6 years ago and loved this place. Came back again in 2022 for a short family trip again and it's still just as good. The crab cake benedict was amazing. I find hollandaise is too overwhelming sometimes but it complements the crab cakes perfectly. The beignets are great and they come with an orange marmalade that I loved. Typical brunch drinks like mimosas and bloody mary's. I only tried the apple mimosa which was good. My favorite breakfast place in Siesta Key and definitely in my top 5 breakfast places of all time. read more
