Would recommend pre-ordering online because many items were sold out just an hour after opening when I stopped by on a Monday afternoon. Placed an order on the kiosk for a slice of tiramisu, matcha, biscoff, and Hokkaido milk. Order was ready within a few minutes. Hokkaido milk was everyone's favorite! The chocolate balls inside added a nice crunch. Biscoff was on the sweeter side but unique. Matcha and tiramisu were solid. We all enjoyed these cakes and they weren't too sweet (in a good way). Would definitely buy from here again!
This is gonna be a short review coz I don't have enough good things to say about this place so I will keep it short . Their cakes are not bad but not good either . They lack taste . I took 4 different flavors. Crepes are paper thin. Look wise these cakes are impressive but the taste wasn't for me . Too blunt for my taste buds . No sit down area inside either. Enough parking spots though . These are on the costlier side . I don't think I will come back here .
This place is delicious! The cake experience is like nothing you've had before and yes it's a little pricey but the quality is excellent. I've been coming here often for work events and sometimes I end up getting a slice for myself while there. This place is pickup only so it's not a bakery you can enjoy your cake at. It's located in a business park area so it's a bit hidden from the main street. I've tried their matcha, black sesame and tiramisu. All are delicious! If you dont see your cake flavor available online, if it says sold out give them a call to order ahead for that flavor. They also have a great rewards program if you frequent often. If you're looking for a unique cake for your event I recommend their business!
This is a review for the assorted flavor full cake (10 slices, 5 flavors, 2 each). I got this for a birthday party since I wasn't sure what the couple's favorite flavor was. Being undecided, I thought why not go for the assorted flavor cake since it said there's a "discount" (108 instead for 120). While quite a few of the flavors were popular, it's probably not a good idea to get the assorted flavor cake for a birthday, since it's just a cake made of single slices and not an actual cake (understandable, of course). So one cannot really "cut" it. We actually cut each flavor into small pieces and distributed it within the group. The most popular flavors were the Hokkaido milk, Pistachio and Tiramisu (in that order). It was actually my first time eating a crepe cake! I was surprised myself.
The deserts here are delectable but pricy, I really enjoyed the Lunar New Year's Yuzu Azuki Crepe Cake: the taste of the Azuki came out, but the IU note was very mild. The Strawberry Crème Tart was also very good. The service was fast and responsive, and the ambiance was 100% takeout.
I just want to share how satisfied and happy we are with the crepe cake I purchased for my husband. It was absolutely perfect! The design was so classy, elegant, and truly above my expectations. You can really see the care and creativity that went into making it. My husband was so happy when he saw it, and it made the celebration even more special for us. I also want to give a special thanks to the manager at the San Jose location. When I mentioned that we would be traveling in the car for about 7 hours, they were so kind and helpful in giving us options to make sure the cake would stay perfect during the trip. Their suggestion worked so well! Overall, I am beyond satisfied with both the cake and the wonderful customer service. Highly recommend! Thank you for making our celebration extra special.
My parents fell in love with Mille Crêpe cakes when he visited SF, and I wanted to surprise them with the best cake before they left. I ordered the Assorted Flavor Whole Cake which comes with 5 flavors - 2 pieces each. It is an artisanal delight. We thought that we would pace ourselves and enjoy the cake over the next few days, but the cakes were irresistible. They are very soft and melt in your mouth. It isn't too sweet, the cream is light. The pick up was very smooth. They have loads of pick up locations in SF and it was convenient for me to find a nearby location and pick up the cake. The staff was proactive in informing me that they were out of a flavor and asked for my preference. They were polite and professional. If you wish to celebrate a special occasion, I would highly recommend ordering their delectable Mille Crêpe cakes. I certainly would going forward!
Every year, I look forward to ordering Anton millicrepe cakes for the holidays. It's a real treat for my family, and they always look forward to it in our family gatherings. "Danreb's here! Boujie cake! Danreb's here! Boujie cake!" It might get to a point where now, I'll have to order four instead of two. I've had every flavor, so I was pleased to see that they had some seasonal offerings that were included in the deal. For November, I had the pumpkin flavor, and for December, I had their holiday chocolate flavor. Both of them were absolutely amazing, and I'd go as far as saying that the pumpkin might be my favorite slice of Anton's yet--think the deliciousness of a pumpkin pie but in creamy decadent cake form! I also noticed that they did a dulce de leche flavor, and I'm bummed that I didn't get to try that one out. Pick-up from their San Jose warehouse location remains extremely easy, and you can also schedule pick-ups for single slice cakes. They're even available on DoorDash, so please go get your Anton's fix if you're even considering it! I've also ordered slices for me and my girlfriend for Valentine's Day. I'm really glad I got to order from them this year because I spent six months laid off. I'm glad I finally found employment because this is easily the best treat I get for my family every year. These aren't cheapest cakes in the world, but one bite will tell you exactly why.
I ordered the Hokkaido milk crepe cake online since the hojicha one wasn't available. The location wasn't what I expected since it was in a block of offices but it was easy to find parking. The shop's interior wasn't available to customers and the employee was at a table outside. It was really quick to pick up my cake with my online order number. I really enjoyed the cake's flavor and texture and would definitely come back!
Came here on a Saturday to check out this place since it's a dessert place in what is seemingly a sea of corporate offices. It was a little bit hard to find as it was further back in the plaza. On the bright side, there was plenty of parking. There was a table with an iPad at the front of the store which is how you order. They have mille crepe cakes, tarts and panna cotta. We ordered the chocolate tart and the mango panna cotta. After a few minutes, someone came out to give us our order. I was a bit surprised at the size of the desserts, but the taste was really good. The chocolate tart wasn't too sweet, but with a good strong chocolate taste. It's a bit expensive but I'd love to try the other items.
Love their crepe cakes. My favorites are the pistachio and Hokkaido milk. They package their individual slices in a box with a gold ribbon on them; so cute and fancy. Their crepe cakes are perfect for special occasions or when you want a piece of fancy cake. I tried their limited edition durian a few months ago and that was amazing. I wish they would bring that flavor back sometime.
Anton's is known for their mille crepe cake! Each crafted by hand with over 20 delicate, paper-thin crepes. Yes, the price may be a bit steep, but for the amount of work that goes into each cake, the price is fair. I recently tried the pumpkin spice crepe cake for the fall season and it was SO YUMMY. Not too sweet. Very soft. It was my first time trying Anton's and I can't wait to try the other flavors! I have my eye on the Tres Leches and the Tiramisu. So glad we have a bakery like Anton's in the Bay :) Order online for easy pick up!
I was away for my aunt's birthday party, so I was a bit upset over it. I did ask Tess to drop off her gift, but it felt like it would have been more personable if I handed her the gift. On the day of her birthday, on a whim I decided to get her some desserts nearby. I work in Milpitas and thought I could order for delivery, but it appears that they cannot do same day delivery, so I placed an order for pickup instead. I ordered their 2 slices - Hokkaido Milk and Hojicha Mille Crêpes Slice Set. The pickup was easy. Gentleman was able to help w/ my order earlier than my scheduled pickup time. I'm incredibly thankful that my job is flexible. I was able to put this bag at her doorstep (she was due back home in less than an hour). She sent me a picture of the 1st slice on the alter for my grandpa which she enjoyed that night and the other she enjoyed the next night. I've personally never tried Anton SV Patisserie but from the packaging down to how the cake was decorated showed a great deal of intricate work in the kitchen to be able to produce this quality. I'll try them soon! Thank you for making my aunt's day of birth better!

TL;DR - Odd location but good service. Pick up outside due to COVID. They deliver on Saturdays (including SF). A little pricey for small slices. Yummy Japanese crepe cakes, best gifted or eaten right away since they're so delicate. Refrigerate ASAP if needed. Flavors were a bit lackluster, but still good. COVID-19 review. Based on the name, I expected this to be a French patisserie, but it's more of a Japanese bakery. I ordered two slices of their signature Hokkaido Milk Mille crepe cake ($19.99) on their website on Sunday night for pick-up at 11am on Monday morning when they opened. FYI, Hokkaido milk is a rich, creamy milk from the province of Hokkaido, Japan. The website states they also deliver on Saturdays. This includes San Francisco. Delivery costs $11. The location is a bit odd since it's hidden at the end of a parking lot among office buildings. The instructions in the email said to call once you park (due to COVID). Then I was instructed to come up to the front. There was a table and bell to ring. Staff were wearing masks. I was promptly greeted by a sweet lady. She asked for my order number and how far I was driving (20 minutes). Overall, service is great. The slices come nicely packaged in a box with a bow inside of a gift bag. The slices were smaller than expected, so it is a bit pricey. The box is topped with dry ice and a flyer with a warning message about the dry ice. The ice lasted about 35-45 minutes before it evaporated completely. If you're more than 30 minutes from home, they'll charge you for extra dry ice. I wouldn't recommend traveling far with these... they are delicate. I was concerned the ice would damage the box or bow, but it did not. MAKE SURE TO REFRIGERATE THE CAKE PROMPTLY. They are very delicate. I actually recommend eating these right away even though they claim they're good for 48 hours. The filling started melting and the slices started tilting over as soon as the dry ice melted. The plastic surrounding each slice came off too. I wish they had secured the plastic better. I kept these in the fridge for about 11 hours before we ate them. They didn't look as nice as they did when they were fresh but the taste made up for it! If you have a big sweet tooth, this might not be for you. The flavors and sweetness are subtle. I was hoping for some unique flavors from the filling, but it simply tasted like melted whipped cream or ice cream. I like those flavors though, so can't complain! Overall, I would have liked some unique flavors in there, but it was still pretty good. read more

What better way to celebrate than with some delicious Millie crepe ! This was my first time trying their crepe cake and it's quite delicious but expensive! You can definitely see the hard work put into each cake, I mean look at those layers! Closest thing I can get to ladymcakes. Their crepe cake is really good but if I'm being super honest, I think I still like lady m more. But totally down to order again for the next special occasion! Highly recommend to try! I have always wanted to try a mille crêpe cake and a friend had graciously gotten a Hokkaido Milk Mille Crêpes cake from the San Jose location to share with our small group of ladies. The cake was super refined that came with 20 layers of ultra thin crepes sandwiched between rich whipped cream with a slight added crunch of crispy dark chocolate balls topped with a layer of charcoal dust. The texture is so light that it literally melts in the mouth. The 7.5" cake is priced at $88 and it's not all that surprising as it's a very time-consuming process to make. I've had this place bookmarked for years but didn't get to try until I received a signature hokkaido milk cake as a gift for my birthday. Coincidentally, I had gotten a couple of slices at Lady M the same week since I had fond memories from ten years ago. Sadly, I didn't like the cakes at Lady M at all and felt Anton was way better! The cake was extremely creamy and the crepe layers thin. You can also taste the quality. The person who delivered the cake wore a mask and socially distanced while giving instructions on how to store the cake. Their cakes are also cheaper than Lady M, so I'd recommend Anton instead. I'll definitely try other flavors in the future! read more

Absolutely love them!! Tried all 5 flavors in one cake coz it's really hard for me to pick one single flavor. Ordered from DoorDash. The delivery is late for 2 hours but the cake is definitely worth the wait. I actually called in the morning and the store recommended to order a day before. Unfortunately I need the cake today for birthday... Crepes are super soft, thin with adequate amount of cream. The presentation suits each flavor really well. Tiramisu is my favorite. Soft and creamy. Perfect sweet level for me. Not overly sweet that would take over the bitterness of the coca and coffee. Runner up is sesame. Smells so good. Reminds me of sesame ice cream that I enjoyed as a child. Maybe I'm just biased towards sesame. Hokkaido milk is another interesting flavor. Reminds me of UKA milk candy. (Or did I just unveil the secret ingredient?) Matcha is good as well. It's becoming a standard favor to offer. Still I like it over Lady M for sure in terms of quality of the crepes, level of sweetness. Pistachio is interesting. Slightly too sweet for me and I'm expecting stronger pistachio flavor. Overall, highly recommended. It's not a cheap cake though. read more

We ordered the tiramisu Mille crepe cake for thanksgiving, the ordering process was easy. I even accidentally ordered 2 and the staff member helped me to correct my order quickly. When I went to pick up the cake the process was easy with lots of social distancing. The presentation was very appealing. The tiramisu cake itself was amazing and beautiful, all the layers were so neat to see. And tasted delicious as well. I will definitely come back again to try their other items. read more
Anton's enticing array of meticulously crafted Mille crepe cakes caught my eye a few years ago because of the Lady M craze. When I recently found out about the slice sets from here, the itch to immediately fulfill my Mille crepe cake fantasy became real. And it's not not even my birthday. Their signature flavor is Hokkaido milk, but I decided to opt for the black sesame flavor for my first experience. Bear in mind that the black sesame flavor is faint. Other flavors include pistachio, vanilla, matcha, and tiramisu. The elegantly packaged cake slices were everything that I imagined: light, velvety, and delicately sweet. Every indulgent bite melted in my mouth. The perfect accompaniment for a mid-afternoon cup of tea, IMO. Pricy, no doubt, but consider the painstaking process and high quality ingredients. Highly recommend. Maan, if this place ever decides to offer an individual slice option, I don't even know how I'm gonna act... I ordered a Pistachio Crepe Cake for next day, the cake was sold out online. I called them and they were able to fix the problem and patiently walked me through. The cake was so beautifully packed and dry ice was provided for small pieces. The cake is not as sweet and each layer is so soft and yummy. The cake is worth every penny you spent. read more

This was my first time ordering from and having one of Anton's crepe cakes. My sister requested a Hokkaido crepe cake from Anton's as her birthday cake/gift. To say I suffered a bit of sticker shock when seeing the price is an understatement. I've paid for cakes that price before but they usually have cute fondant decorations! But, of course, this wasn't for me so I ordered it. Ordering online was super easy and straightforward. I also ordered a couple of fruit tarts for my kids since I didn't know how they would accept the cake. Picking up the cake was super easy. The person at the table was very friendly. So we're at my parent's house and we sing and all that. Cut the cake and I can tell that the layers of crepes were clearly freshly made based on how easy it was to cut through it. I barely had to move the knife down and it was already cutting through. I took a bite, and holy moly was it amazing! The description read that it had charcoal, hence the blackness of it, but I didn't taste it so that was great. The cream was amazing. It was milky and creamy. I ended up eating two slices and was overjoyed when my sister let us take home a portion. I would definitely want to eat this cake again. I saw they sell them in sets of 2 slices so I may have to splurge every now and then. The only bummer was realizing they forgot our fruit tarts. BUT, when I emailed them later that day they responded quickly and refunded me so I really appreciated that. read more
I order the crep online and deliver to my house. The delivery service is professional and the manager is friendly and polite. I would say the overall the service is great. I order 2 difference flavors, they are: 1.) Hokkaide Milk Mille Crepes - this is its signature flavor and it is good. The crep itself has a good texture and the cream layered inside is fresh and creamy. You can taste the milk flavor, it is not strong, but the taste is well balanced overall. Well done! 2.) Pistachio Mille Crepes - the mille crepes is good. The mille crepes itself has the right balance of crepes and cream as usual, but I can barely taste any pistachio flavor. If I was not told it is pistachio flavor, I would not be able to guess it. It is very beautifully designed and I can see pistachio piece on top, but it does not has pistachio layer inside the crepes. So I would recommend add some pistachio pieces inside the layer and enhance the pistachio flavor for the cream. read more

We came around this place on our trip to Santa Clara, reading a lot of rave reviews about this place we decided to give it a visit. Initially we were circling around, as the bakery is in a campus full of offices and we were like we got the address wrong, but the bakery is at end of offices. We got their & the bakery was only open for takeout. A sweet girl came out to take our order. And suggested that their best seller was the chocolate crepe cake. You have to take 2 slices of the same flavor for $20. We did say her that we were going to have it for the day after. And she got the slices nicely packed with liquid nitrogen which would stay good for 2 hours. It was a hot day. The slices were packed nicely, beautiful layers of crepes. Overall, It was something different, taste was good. I think its overly priced for 2 slices. But worth a try for one time. read more

This review is going to be short and sweet (literally). There's no fancy sit down cafe, nor a huge menu. It's basically a menu of 6 flavors of crepe cakes (Black Sesame, Pistachio, Vanilla, Tiramisu, Matcha, and Hokkaido Milk). While you can order on DoorDash (albeit with a $2 extra charge on each cake on top of service fees), I chose to order online and pick up at the shop. The pick up was easy as all you have to do is call when you get there and they will bring it to a box in front of the store and you can pick it up there (of course, this is probably the process for the current Coronavirus situation). As for the cake itself, I got a whole vanilla crepe cake (you can buy slices, as well). I'll tell you what, I'm a big fan of vanilla-flavored desserts and this was one of the best I've had. It didn't just taste like whipped cream like some places. It actually had a good vanilla flavor. And not cheap vanilla extract from Walmart. For $88 a cake, you'd expect good quality vanilla and they didn't disappoint. This isn't a regular cake, so I don't recommend putting a candle in it, but I guess you could. However, even though we sliced this right out of the fridge, the crepe layers slid off easily. If you wan't the pretty picture for Instagram, take it of the cake once you take a slice out. I'd definitely order again and I'll think of excuses to order more. Shark week is coming up, right? read more

Getting a cake for my brothers birthday on Friday and planning to drive down to Los Altos for Lady M but Ofcoz they sold out found this place nearby and decent reviews on Yelp so we gave it a try. Is a good cake but we all prefer lady M especially at this price point. We ordered the Hokkaido milk charcoal, it taste good but something is missing, like a spike of ... I am still thinking .... cake is very moist make sure u fridge is and don't leave it out for too long, crepes were thin and soft- I prefer harder, can't really taste the charcoal, wish they have original crepes that tastes eggy overall decent cake good enough for me to go back and try their green tea one next time read more

The online ordering system on the website is easy to use. Anton SV Patisserie is deeply committed to the end to end customer experience. Once I placed the order, I received a text message to confirm the pick-up time. The pick-up was seamless and the pick-up station was in an open-air area with plenty of parking. After I gave my order number, they brought out my order in a beautiful bag with ice. The amount of ice they add depends on the distance you have to travel back. My order contained two cake slices of the signature flavor. The cake slices were packaged in an elegant box with a golden ribbon. The signature cake is a decadent compilation of crepe, luscious cream, and crunch. The cake melts in your mouth. The chocolate tablet on top of the cake is pronounced in chocolate flavor. We ordered the slices to celebrate a special occasion and we felt pampered from the time we placed the order to the time we had a bite of the cake. I will make Anton a part of all special occasions in our lives. My only gripe is that Anton does not allow their customers to mix and match cake slices and that the website does not describe the cake flavors sufficiently. read more

Ordered two crepe cakes with DoorDash. The signature Hokkaido milk and the pistachio. First time we had those cakes and didn't taste as expected. It's not that they were bad, quite the opposite, but they weren't as flavorful and sweet as expected. Was a bit surprising that we couldn't tell a big difference between both flavors. The cakes look really beautiful, you can see that a lot of work went into making these. We might give them another try and go for some other flavors. read more

I bought several sets of cake to try for a b day and even though there was one minor hiccup, management was quick and extremely courteous in making the experience even extra Crepe-Licious! 1 Star - easy ordering online and pick up or delivery can be had. Covid conscious. 2 star - great packaging cute box with gold ribbon, nice togo bag. If you are traveling with these , the staff packs them with dry ice to ensure their integrity for your maximum enjoyment. 3 stars - for great customer service from point of ordering answering inquires, pick up , even after checking up on your experience after! 4 stars - The cakes were indeed delicious . I ordered black sesame , Hokkaido milk and matcha. They are delicate cakes , that you must try. The price is reflective of all the care and skills put into those yummy 20 layers. Super satisfying cutting through the soft layers with your spoon and directly to mouth 5- as I mentioned there was a hiccup and Anton management was very quick and extremely courteous in making my experience from a 4, to 5 stars. read more

I went here to pick up a couple slices to enjoy for a special occasion and was definitely impressed with what we got. The service was really good, they made an exception for me, and were right on time for me. Their COVID set-up was quick and easy as well. As for the Hokkaido Milk Mille Crepe cake I ordered, we really enjoyed it. We've never had anything quite like it before, so it was a very nice treat to have. I'd definitely be interested in enjoying a few slices of this or maybe even another variety again. read more

3/5 for the cake. 0/5 for the service. The mostly positive reviews that this place got is perplexing considering our experience. I wanted to get a combo cake for a birthday so that we can sample all the different flavors that this patisserie has to offer. When I called I was told that they can't do the combo cake but I can get the different slices individually but it will cost higher, not fair but understandable. However I was very disappointed with the service hereafter which was cold, weird and rude. I requested the store to put the different slices in a bigger box rather than 5 small boxes so that we can easily transport and store it, since this was meant for a birthday celebration later in the night and I wanted it to be a surprise. We were told since the cakes are to be handled carefully they can't do that. Not that it will take this much time or they can try but at your risk, just nope can't do. If a "patisserie" can't handle delicate cakes, who can? Nevertheless, we said fine we will assemble it ourselves, just give us a large box and the person at the store was again like nope, can't do that either. Why can't you simply give us a big stupid box, we wondered but didn't ask. The vibe we got was get your cake and get the hell out of here and don't ask us anything after we have made the sale. Certainly not one should expect after spending 100$ on 5 small slices. Every other bakery (big or small) we have been to is happy to give out boxes, candles and other birthday stuff for free with any cake purchase. Anton doesn't do any of that and can't be bothered to accommodate any customer needs. Now coming to the actual cake slices, the size was very small and I think the online photos are misleadingly enlarged. The 5 crepe cake slices (actually supposed to be 10 since these are double slices and have to be bought in pairs) I ordered would not really be enough for 10 people, it will be around 5-6 servings in my estimate. Regarding the taste, we really liked the taste of tiramisu and vanilla but the other 3 were not amazing and had a strange flavor. Overall, an overrated, overpriced cake shop with below average cakes and unpleasant, arrogant customer service. Please avoid! read more

Surprisingly the black sesame and Hokkaido flavor ones were more subtle, and the pistachio flavor one stood out more! They were all pretty good, but slices are definitely smaller than what you'd expect. Though I love that they have unique flavors, my friends all said they prefer Lady M's crepe cakes more. Found Anton SV Pâtisserie on Yelp, picked up 2 slices black sesame mille crepes. It looks nice and the crepe are very thin, but I was very disappointed with the taste, no flavor I barely can taste the black sesame at the first bite and no sweetness. It definitely doesn't have the chinese black sesame dumpling filling taste. Oh and those grapes on top wasn't sweet either, the best thing on that mille crepe was the small piece of chocolate. This Mille crepe was so bland and tasteless!!! It's unfortunate, I really had hope this would be my new Mille crepe cake! Oh any they make you buy 2 slices of the same flavor at a time! read more

I have tried their fruit tarts, tiramisu, Hokkaido, and pistachio flavored 7.5 inch crepe cakes, and all of them were delicious. Our favorite pastry is the Hokkaido milk crepe cake. I love how their pastries are not too sweet, made with fresh ingredients, and are still flavorful. The fine layers stacked on top of each other is beautifully done. This is our local Lady M shop. Service has always been great too. For special events, they will give you a candle and a cake topper if you request it. They are located in a business area and do not have indoor dining. You can retrieve your pastries at the front of their store where they have a intercom and a touch screen to order items. You can also order in advance online and choose a pick up or delivery time. They offer 10% discounts on in store orders on Wednesdays from 6-7pm. Although they are a bit pricey (the 7.5 inch crepe cakes are $88), I think it's worth it for special occasions or if you just simply want to treat yourself out to something nice. Look no further if you want to indulge in a delicious crepe cake! We got a Hokkaido milk crepe cake ($88) and 2 slices of tiramisu ($19) for our daughter's birthday and it was amazzzing! Each crepe layer is super thin and the cream itself wasn't too sweet. I prefer the Hokkaido over the tiramisu but they're both wonderful! The Hokkaido had small tiny chocolate crunch balls in between the layers, and a milky and creamy melt in your mouth flavor! The tiramisu had a nice coffee flavor and cocoa lightly dusted on top! I cant wait to try the other flavors of it wasn't so expensive I'll definitely buy all the time! read more
