I placed an order online and the pickup process was super easy! The cakes and the fruit tarts are amazing... the packaging is incredible as well. The owner was super friendly and very caring about the quality of the cakes. He asked and made sure that the cakes would be preserved correctly (and provided dry ice since I was going to be driving with it for a bit). I will definitely be ordering from them again! 100% recommend! read more

Had layered crepe cakes; tiramisu and sesame (is that how you spell it?). It was tasty, my family especially loved the sesame flavored one. The alcohol in tiramisu was a bit strong for our liking though still good. A bit pricey but splurged a little since it was my kid sister's bday that day. Recommend giving them a try. read more

It was really good to know that ordering here can be so easy . I ordered online and went to pick up within 15 minutes and my order for 2 pistachio slices were ready for me. I had a great experience with their service and of course, the amazing crepe cakes. This was a gift for my mom's birthday combined with my parents anniversary, so I thought it would be fitting to get them the best of all flavors. I chose all except for Vanilla Mille only because the others sound much more enticing. It was a hit. The parents loved it and so did everyone else at home! The winner was Tiramisu--I was pretty impressed that it didn't taste so sweet like most other Tiramisu flavor desserts, especially since I don't like sweets much. As for the service, everything was superb and very easy to follow. From ordering online to picking up, it was a smooth process. I also received a call a couple hours before my pick up time just to check-in. They put a lot of time and care into their products because during the call, they asked how long it'd take me to get there to see if I need dry ice to maintain the desired temperature. Even though I was only 15-20 minutes away, they still offered me the dry ice option (Thank you!). I absolutely recommend their crepe cakes to anybody because it was such a great experience both service and food-wise. read more

A wonderful new find. I have never tried crepe cake before and entrusted Anton Patisserie with my first experience - and I certainly have no regrets. I ordered two slices of the pistachio crepe cake. They were smaller than expected (2 slices equates to the size of 1 slice of a typical American-portioned cake), but I did not mind. Just keep that into account if you're ordering for a group. I loved the texture of the crepe layers with the creaminess in between. My only critique is that the flavor of the pistachio was only detected when I ate the actual nuts decorated on top. Otherwise the flavor was literally "vanilla." Still delicious though. For next time, I'll try the tiramisu and matcha. I'd also like to mention the great customer service. I was running late past my pick up time and they were kind enough to ensure someone would be there to hand me my order. read more

Absolutely delicious! The crepes are so thin and tender that they feel like they melt in your mouth with the cream. I ordered late around 7pm, so there was only Tiramisu and vanilla slices available. Slices come in packs of 2 of the same flavor, so I ordered 1 pack of 2 Tiramisu slices for $19.99. The slices had a subtle coffee flavor and a touch of cocoa dusted on the top, and the pastry cream was rich but light. The quality is just as good, if not better than Lady M! They're also open later and have order ahead, so also a much smoother process to get one of their slices compared to the Lady M locations in Los Altos/Valley Fair. $10 per slice is steep for desserts in general, but on par with the usual price for coveted crepe cake slices. Their customer service is also wonderful, as when you pick up, they ask how long you'll be driving for, and then give you an appropriate amount of dry ice to preserve your cake slices and instructions on how to bring your cake back up to the ideal temperature. read more

I have been wanting to try this place for a while. Finally got a chance to try a slice of matcha and a slice of black sesame today for the first time. The matcha was extremely dry and kind of hard. We got three flavors, vanilla, sesame, and Hokkaido. The sesame flavor is unique and tasty. I would highly recommend this one! The Hokkaido has little chocolate balls in it; it compliments the smooth Hokkaido milk flavor amazingly. I can tell the vanilla beans they use are of good quality. However, the sesame and Hokkaido are too divine to make the vanilla a little disappointed. I would definitely come back for sesame and Hokkaido flavor! read more

I found this place on yelp, and placed order for the tiramisu cake 1 day in advance. John was very accommodating and accepted the order. At first I found it really pricey- $88 for a 7.5 inch cake?! But then going by the reviews I still had some trust in the cake. The pick up instructions were very clear and easy to follow. They also gave clear instructions on how to preserve and prepare the cake for cutting. The cake was really pretty looking. Once we cut it and had some, it was heaven! The cake was utter bliss.. It was melting in our mouths and a taste burst. We could taste all the ingredients and tiramisu was just perfect. Would recommend this for special occassions! read more

Recently tried Anton for the first time and would definitely recommend! Location was a bit hard to find because it is located in a plaza full of offices/businesses. Ordered online for pick up and the process was quick and easy. They also packed the cake with dry ice to keep it cool on the ride home. Had the Hokkaido Milk Mille Crepes and loved it! Not too sweet, and it was soft and flavorful. Love the texture. Haven't had many experiences with crepe cakes but so far this makes it at the top of the list. Just a note: you cannot get only one slice - you have to get 2 slices of the same flavor for $20. A little pricey for the size and I would love to be able to mix and match to try other flavors. We ordered the Tiramisu and the Hokkaido for a double birthday celebration and I can say both are superb. I especially liked the Tiramisu (has always been obsessed with anything Tiramisu). Both are lovely decorated and the entire thing is not too sweet, very smooth unlike drugstore cakes that feels like sore throat at every bite. I gave 4 stars not because of the product itself but because of the price (a little expensive) and the shelf life which is only 48 hours. We had some leftovers cause we had two large ones and we can't finish them all. They no longer taste as good when we first had it. There is a disclaimer though on the box that it is best consumed within 48 hours so better finish everything in one sitting! I am just amazed how they created a cake out of crepes and it looks so "tidy" and not a heap of mess How we ordered - online via website Mode - pick-up (btw, you would not realize there's dainty little pattiserie in the area where a lot of security companies/offices are located. read more

I picked up the signature Hokkaido cake. The process was very smooth. I selected to pick up around 2 but when I called in the morning requesting to pick up earlier, they are able to accommodate that. The cake itself is really nice. I would highly recommend anyone to finish the cake on the same day as it will slowly dry out over time. read more

I have been wanting to go to this place for over a year now and yesterday was the perfect day to visit the store and get cake for my wife's birthday. The cake in unbelievable! We got the pistachio cake which was so well constructed with each layer being so perfect and taste so good! It is a little on the expensive side but hey, we were celebrating an occasion. I've ordered twice now and both times have been lovely. The first was a pickup of the Vanilla Mille cake and it was perfect- delicate and the right amount of sweet. Then this last weekend I had a Matcha Mille cake delivered for a friends birthday and she was so pleased! I wish I could have tried it (thanks Covid) but I guess that means I'll just need to order some slices for myself. Now I understand why it's costs that much. I bought the Tiramisu crepe for a friend's birthday and was able to pick it up 24hrs before the event. Every layer has so much flavor and I can imagine the preparation that goes into. You can taste the chocolate powder and rum. Oh my that rum!! They just received my order today for some reason so just a heads up for those ordering through DoorDash After some technical difficulties, they said they called through DoorDash and weren't able to get a hold of me. This is a hidden gem, quite literally hidden in a corner with offices/business. Ordered the hokkaido crepe and it was all sorts of goodness. The crepes were so soft and smooth, the cream was fresh and light, the sweetness was just right and the little chocolate puffs in between the layers gave a good contrast texture. We are an online and wholesale boutique confectionery focusing on Mille Crêpe Cakes, painstakingly hand-made with no less than 20 paper-thin crepes seamlessly layered with cream, elegant and rich, yet light and nearly dissolving to taste.

History

Established in 2015.

Our Chef moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2012 with a love for baking that stems back to his family, who has been in the confectionery industry for more than 30 years. Though his day job is managing supply chain planning for an IT company, he loves to travel and has lived in numerous countries. Throughout his travels and countries of residence, he has been searching for a French mille (meaning "thousand") crêpe cake of the caliber his family makes back home. Not being able to find anything close to that level, he started baking in his off time, working to perfect the classic cake based on his family recipe. From this passion -- and the support of his family -- Anton SV Pâtisserie was created, focusing on mille crêpe cakes, painstakingly hand-made with no less than 20 paper-thin crêpes seamlessly layered with cream, elegant and rich, yet light and nearly dissolving to taste.

I knew this was a place we both wanted to try and she loves Matcha so I placed an order about a week ahead to ensure there is availability for me to pick up. The ordering process was very simple and normal. Pick the items that you want, when you want to pick it up and where, then proceed with check out informations. The day of the pick up was very simple, arrive at the location show them the order confirmation email you receive after ordering. They will then get your order and inform you of anything that is needed. And this is mainly a question of how long will the cake be in transport before reaching home/fridge. Because the cake needs to be kept fresh with dry ice. So a longer transport time will require more dry ice to keep it fresh. Unpacking at home was also very easy, there are instructions attached, read carefully. The cake itself was very tasty, it was very soft and the taste of matcha was great not too strong and not too soft. Also no matcha bitterness. I loved the cake, my girlfriend and guest also loved it very much. I would 100% order again and would recommend to friends. My review: I love anything matcha and this crepe cake was amazing. I found it very thoughtful that they ask you upon pick up how far you are traveling so they can give you some dry ice. The crêpe cake itself was perfect. I thought it was just a bad day the first time I ordered, but they are a bit on the drier side compared to Lady M. Not great, but not horrible either. The samples were delicious and the pickup process was easy. We went with a ribbon cake (chocolate and vanilla) with fresh strawberries, whipped cream filling, and vanilla buttercream frosting. I also had a very specific vision for my wedding cake - I wanted a detailed three-tier cake with buttercream vintage flowers. We also ordered a plain sheet cake with the same flavors to ensure that we had enough slices for our guests. I worked with Fariba during the ordering process and they were great. I don't know if this is typical for this bakery, but the cake was heavy, claggy on the bottom, and way too sweet. The lemon mousse tasted incredibly strange, as if it were artificial or maybe had some kind of herb or weird flavoring added. The less said about the cream, the better. The white chocolate was quite good though. I saw they had a wide variety of cake offerings, but I don't think I'd want cake from here again. I might get the choux pastry again.

Surprisingly only the Durian is considered premium. My least favorite was Coffee Dalgona only because I'm not a coffee drinker. It definitely tasted like coffee. If you are a coffee drinker you'll probably like it. I wasn't too fond of the Matcha either, I just don't like the more bitter flavors but they were accurate. I would highly recommend supporting them and hopefully will see them at the future Santa Clara Night Markets and elsewhere.

Pulled up around 12PM and the line was long, stretching from the bakery all the way to Pho Hoa, and that was just for pickup orders. Waited about 40 minutes for my turn. The setup was really cute. They had these small tables and chairs for people to sit and eat right there, really gave that Vietnamese street breakfast vibe. They even had one of those convex round mirrors hanging on a wooden column for people to take pics, such a small detail but so aesthetic and smart PR ngl. There were only like 4 staff (including the baker/owner himself) running everything but they worked efficiently and were very friendly. I ordered the "Fried Fish" Bun, Pork Floss Croissant, and Pandan Coconut Bun. My fave was DEFINITELY the "Fried Fish" Bun. It's a creative take on chả cá lã vọng, and even as someone who doesn't usually go for fish, I really enjoyed it. The fish was fresh, and the combination of dill mayo and grilled onions worked really well. The pork floss croissant was a bit smaller than regular artisan croissants, but for the price $6 it was fair. The flavor was nicely balanced between sweet, savory, and buttery. I love how fine the pork floss was. Didn't get to try the pandan coconut bun myself, but this is the exact feedback from the person who tried it (he doesn't like coconut but i do lol) "the outer part was very good, but middle was coconut which i don't like, i ate all around the middle hahaha, i think you would have really liked it, i just don't prefer coconut, but otherwise it was really good". Overall, such a fun pop-up experience. Even with the long wait, the vibe, the creativity, and the quality made it worth it. Definitely gonna keep an eye out for future drops from Droo The Baker because they really doing something special.
