Biscoff (front left), Hokkaido milk (front right), matcha (back left), tiramisu (back right)
    Emily W.

Would recommend pre-ordering online because many items were sold out just an hour after opening when I stopped by on a Monday afternoon. Placed an order on the kiosk for a slice of tiramisu, matcha, biscoff, and Hokkaido milk. Order was ready within a few minutes. Hokkaido milk was everyone's favorite! The chocolate balls inside added a nice crunch. Biscoff was on the sweeter side but unique. Matcha and tiramisu were solid. We all enjoyed these cakes and they weren't too sweet (in a good way). Would definitely buy from here again!

This is gonna be a short review coz I don't have enough good things to say about this place so I will keep it short . Their cakes are not bad but not good either . They lack taste . I took 4 different flavors. Crepes are paper thin. Look wise these cakes are impressive but the taste wasn't for me . Too blunt for my taste buds . No sit down area inside either. Enough parking spots though . These are on the costlier side . I don't think I will come back here .

This place is delicious! The cake experience is like nothing you've had before and yes it's a little pricey but the quality is excellent. I've been coming here often for work events and sometimes I end up getting a slice for myself while there. This place is pickup only so it's not a bakery you can enjoy your cake at. It's located in a business park area so it's a bit hidden from the main street. I've tried their matcha, black sesame and tiramisu. All are delicious! If you dont see your cake flavor available online, if it says sold out give them a call to order ahead for that flavor. They also have a great rewards program if you frequent often. If you're looking for a unique cake for your event I recommend their business!

Assorted whole cake (Hokkaido milk, Matcha, Tiramisu, Pistachio, Black Sesame)
    Arvind S.

This is a review for the assorted flavor full cake (10 slices, 5 flavors, 2 each). I got this for a birthday party since I wasn't sure what the couple's favorite flavor was. Being undecided, I thought why not go for the assorted flavor cake since it said there's a "discount" (108 instead for 120). While quite a few of the flavors were popular, it's probably not a good idea to get the assorted flavor cake for a birthday, since it's just a cake made of single slices and not an actual cake (understandable, of course). So one cannot really "cut" it. We actually cut each flavor into small pieces and distributed it within the group. The most popular flavors were the Hokkaido milk, Pistachio and Tiramisu (in that order). It was actually my first time eating a crepe cake! I was surprised myself.

The deserts here are delectable but pricy, I really enjoyed the Lunar New Year's Yuzu Azuki Crepe Cake: the taste of the Azuki came out, but the IU note was very mild. The Strawberry Crème Tart was also very good. The service was fast and responsive, and the ambiance was 100% takeout.

Every year, I look forward to ordering Anton millicrepe cakes for the holidays. It's a real treat for my family, and they always look forward to it in our family gatherings. "Danreb's here! Boujie cake! Danreb's here! Boujie cake!" It might get to a point where now, I'll have to order four instead of two. I've had every flavor, so I was pleased to see that they had some seasonal offerings that were included in the deal. For November, I had the pumpkin flavor, and for December, I had their holiday chocolate flavor. Both of them were absolutely amazing, and I'd go as far as saying that the pumpkin might be my favorite slice of Anton's yet--think the deliciousness of a pumpkin pie but in creamy decadent cake form! I also noticed that they did a dulce de leche flavor, and I'm bummed that I didn't get to try that one out. Pick-up from their San Jose warehouse location remains extremely easy, and you can also schedule pick-ups for single slice cakes. They're even available on DoorDash, so please go get your Anton's fix if you're even considering it! I've also ordered slices for me and my girlfriend for Valentine's Day. I'm really glad I got to order from them this year because I spent six months laid off. I'm glad I finally found employment because this is easily the best treat I get for my family every year. These aren't cheapest cakes in the world, but one bite will tell you exactly why.

I ordered the Hokkaido milk crepe cake online since the hojicha one wasn't available. The location wasn't what I expected since it was in a block of offices but it was easy to find parking. The shop's interior wasn't available to customers and the employee was at a table outside. It was really quick to pick up my cake with my online order number. I really enjoyed the cake's flavor and texture and would definitely come back!

Came here on a Saturday to check out this place since it's a dessert place in what is seemingly a sea of corporate offices. It was a little bit hard to find as it was further back in the plaza. On the bright side, there was plenty of parking. There was a table with an iPad at the front of the store which is how you order. They have mille crepe cakes, tarts and panna cotta. We ordered the chocolate tart and the mango panna cotta. After a few minutes, someone came out to give us our order. I was a bit surprised at the size of the desserts, but the taste was really good. The chocolate tart wasn't too sweet, but with a good strong chocolate taste. It's a bit expensive but I'd love to try the other items.

Love their crepe cakes. My favorites are the pistachio and Hokkaido milk. They package their individual slices in a box with a gold ribbon on them; so cute and fancy. Their crepe cakes are perfect for special occasions or when you want a piece of fancy cake. I tried their limited edition durian a few months ago and that was amazing. I wish they would bring that flavor back sometime.

Anton's is known for their mille crepe cake! Each crafted by hand with over 20 delicate, paper-thin crepes. Yes, the price may be a bit steep, but for the amount of work that goes into each cake, the price is fair. I recently tried the pumpkin spice crepe cake for the fall season and it was SO YUMMY. Not too sweet. Very soft. It was my first time trying Anton's and I can't wait to try the other flavors! I have my eye on the Tres Leches and the Tiramisu. So glad we have a bakery like Anton's in the Bay :) Order online for easy pick up!

    Black Sesame Slice

I love crepe cakes and this place has rave reviews! Why would this be a 1 star experience? I just had the black sesame cake and the experience was so underwhelming. I previously tried Swwet Glory on inner sunset in SF, and have been addicted to crepe cakes since. They were delicious and fruity. In comparison the ones from Anton lack flavor and imagination. They are boring. Also much smaller quantity for the same price. Never been so disappointed with a cake place. They don't even offer a place to sit down, have smaller cake pieces, that doesn't even taste good and yet charge heavily.

Got the assortment and loved all of the flavors. Favorites are definitely the Hokkaido Milk as well as the Matcha !!!

I was away for my aunt's birthday party, so I was a bit upset over it. I did ask Tess to drop off her gift, but it felt like it would have been more personable if I handed her the gift. On the day of her birthday, on a whim I decided to get her some desserts nearby. I work in Milpitas and thought I could order for delivery, but it appears that they cannot do same day delivery, so I placed an order for pickup instead. I ordered their 2 slices - Hokkaido Milk and Hojicha Mille Crêpes Slice Set. The pickup was easy. Gentleman was able to help w/ my order earlier than my scheduled pickup time. I'm incredibly thankful that my job is flexible. I was able to put this bag at her doorstep (she was due back home in less than an hour). She sent me a picture of the 1st slice on the alter for my grandpa which she enjoyed that night and the other she enjoyed the next night. I've personally never tried Anton SV Patisserie but from the packaging down to how the cake was decorated showed a great deal of intricate work in the kitchen to be able to produce this quality. I'll try them soon! Thank you for making my aunt's day of birth better!

What I had: - Lychee Matcha (double matcha, regular sweet, regular ice) - Yuzu Matcha (double matcha, regular sweet, regular ice). Double matcha was not overly strong or caffeinating to me (love that they do not charge extra for this option btw)- my caff tolerance I'd say is relatively high or above average for sure. Surprisingly, at that matcha level the taste is not overly bitter at all. And the regular sweet is perfect (I normally get 50% sweet at boba shops). Same with the ice level, I think their regular ice level is fine (I normally get less ice at boba shops). The Lychee matcha has great lychee taste, not artificial tasting, it's a great blend of both lychee + matcha. The Yuzu is leaning towards the 'lemonade' profile without being overly citrusy. More refreshing than the lychee matcha, but both are refreshing anyways due to the nature of their flavors! I think I prefer the lychee matcha normally, honestly hard to say which flavor is better! I thoroughly enjoyed both these drinks! Their flavors are blended well with the matcha- not overly sweet in flavor, and matcha is great quality while not overly powerful or bitter. Drinks are of course mixed well and composed nearly perfectly. ---How I Rate on Yelp:--- (5 stars): Exceptional!! -- food, service, and atmosphere all outstanding. Worth going out of your way. Both times I've gone were half an hour before closing and the store was packed. The first time I got the Ha Noi Mist and the Lychee Rose, the second time I got the Ha Long Sunset and a limited stock warm specialty dessert with pandan and ube dumplings in a ginger coconut sauce. The Ha Noi Mist's ingredients sounded the most aligned with my personal preferences and I got the Lychee Rose to try something different but refreshing on a warm summer night. I was hesitant to get the Ha Long Sunset since I'm not a fan of jackfruit but Eric voted for it, and also the dumplings since a ginger coconut sauce sounds weird but he said that's what he wanted. Sipping che through a straw definitely beats spooning it. Make sure to thoroughly mix the drink and crush up the ice a bit before indulging. On my first visit I didn't notice the kiosk and ordered with the cashier so I was confused at how I would know when my order is ready because I didn't get a number or a receipt, but I later noticed the screens displaying that information on the wall. I'm a big fan of pandan jelly. The red pearls can be good but can sometimes have a bit of a crunchy chew in the center. Young coconut has a good flavor but a texture that isn't my favorite. I did not like the jackfruit in the Ha Long Sunset, but the flavor wasn't strong enough to ruin the whole dessert. I feel like che is a dessert that is not necessarily expensive or time consuming to produce, and the milk tea/fruit tea prices here are definitely on the pricey end given their component ingredients. Yes I would revisit, especially when I need dessert late, but I feel that making che at home could be the cost-effective alternative.

Sulbing is a Korean dessert café best known for bingsu, a shaved ice dessert made with an…read moreincredibly fine texture that feels closer to snow than traditional shaved ice. We walked into a clean, modern space with a casual café feel that works well for stopping by after a meal or meeting up with friends for something sweet. The shop focuses on creative variations of bingsu with toppings ranging from fruit to chocolate, matcha, and other dessert-inspired flavors, and the layout encourages lingering over a shared dessert rather than rushing through a quick stop. The biggest highlight is the texture of the shaved ice itself. The ice is extremely soft and light, melting quickly while still holding the flavors from the toppings and condensed milk. We ordered the Injeolmi Sulbing, which showcases the more traditional side with nutty flavors, and the combination of the fine ice, chewy rice cake, and nutty powder created a dessert that felt both refreshing and satisfying. The Tiramisu and Chocolate Brownie Sulbing turn it into a much more indulgent experience, with richer flavors that feel closer to a full dessert than a light treat. The presentation is impressive, with each bowl arriving looking carefully composed, and the layers of toppings are distributed well enough that you get a good mix in every spoonful. The portions are also a major part of the appeal. A single bingsu is easily shareable, making it a good choice for groups or anyone looking for a dessert to split after a meal. We found that sharing worked well, as the portion was generous enough to satisfy two people without feeling like we were missing out. Beyond bingsu, they also offer items like toast and other sweet treats, which give the menu more variety and make it a place you can visit even if you are not in the mood for shaved ice. The main thing to keep in mind is that the experience depends heavily on the flavor you choose. Some versions rely more on the toppings for their flavor, while others feel more balanced throughout. The presentation is impressive, but certain options may feel less satisfying if you expect every bite to have the same intensity as the first. The fruit-based versions, for example, rely on the freshness of the fruit to carry the dessert, while the chocolate and tiramisu versions have a more consistent richness from the base itself. Sulbing is a great spot for trying Korean-style shaved ice. The unique texture, large portions, and variety of flavors make it stand out from typical dessert shops, especially if you enjoy lighter desserts with creative toppings. The balance of refreshing and indulgent options across the menu gives you room to explore different styles on repeat visits, and the quality of the ingredients makes each bowl feel considered and well composed.

The A/C was blasting so it was a bit cold eating our soft serve but it's better than being hot! The taro soft serve was good, a little more tart than I'm used to but good! The Taiyaki was freshly made. I would have liked more custard but I'll know next time to ask. Toppings were ok, the coconut and almonds would be much better toasted. The Black Sesame was inert but gave it texture. The banana latte was delicious! Creamy on top, mild coffee flavor, and the banana came through nicely. Big cup also! We'll definitely be back!

The reviews for the drinks are very mixed, specially durian madness. so I was nervous to order it. I chose the milk tea instead . It had chunks of fruit and salted foam at the top. 25% sweetness, less ice was perfect!!! Also tried the hambalang milk tea. It was a good black milk tea with jelly. Nothing too unique. Durian crepes were light , had a good balance of durian and the whip cream .

I enjoyed my durian desserts. It was good, I'm not a fan of a lot of jellies in my drinks. I liked how it was made with coconut milk, durian, and jellies. I just would like my drink to be thicker and less jellies. But, it was still delicious. My sis ordered a Milo drink and wasn't a fan of it. My other sis got a strawberry matcha. She had no complaints. My mom enjoyed her taro dessert but wasn't a fan of the taro, durian, and salted egg. I thought it was overly sweet for my taste. We ordered extra drinks to offer to the monks (there were more than I expected)..oops! It was a warm day and we were all excited to be there. It was overall a great day and to have a place that was had unique Vietnamese drinks was a plus!

First time around, I went ahead and ordered their pandan matcha. Yum! This masterpiece is served with pandan cold foam and toasted coconut flakes. Ordered it regular sweet, less ice, with oat milk. Very balanced flavor. Loved it. Would definitely try their other flavor offerings. :)

After 10 mins I got my drink and it looked nothing like the pictures in comparison. The "extra" banana cream I got ended up being less than what I'm seeing in photos on yelp from other customers. The band of cream was about the size of my pinky. I get that less ice =/= more drink added, that's completely normal. But even with LESS ice, 60% of my cup was ice :(. I finished it in 8 sips. For $8, a dollar a sip. In this economy ?!? I got robbed. Next time I'll stick to Izumi or soyful. My friend got the jasmine matcha, no changes and had plenty to drink still long after I finished mine. I went for the creamy MT from soyful after to drown out my sorrows. Unlikely to come back, this was a disappointing experience. Their other drinks seem good though.
