I preordered a few weeks in advance to ensure it would be available on the birthday. Pickup on a weekend guarantees no traffic. When I arrived, I called in to inform them I was there. I highly recommend the Hokkaido Milk Cake. One the best cakes I've ever had and was perfect for the engagement dinner occasion. Not too sweet, great texture, and great flavor. The desserts are delicious and very well presented, even during COVID. I ordered 4 slices and when I went to pick up, they asked how long before I would eat them and they gave enough dry ice to keep the cakes cool in order to enjoy at the perfect temperature. Great service! read more

I should start off by saying I only write a review if something is completely.....off. In this case it was that the quality did not match the price. For the prices they charge, I was expecting culinary perfection. I'm having a hard time figuring out why these cakes get such fabulous, glowing reviews. Ordered slices for delivery, and I was incredibly underwhelmed. Especially for the exorbitant price. The slices were insanely small. The crepe layers were extremely grainy, and honestly all I could really taste besides that was a decent vanilla flavor, and a standard whipped cream mixed somewhere in there between all of the layers. I understand this is a "patisserie" so the size of the slices and the price shouldn't have been a shock to me, but the quality was subpar to say the least. I've made my own crepes for brunch every last Sunday of the month for a number of years, and I'll stick to continuing to do so from now on. read more

My colleague recommended this place to me earlier this year and I finally got the tiramisu cake from this place 2 weeks back. Since the cakes are on the expensive side, I was a little skeptical at first on if I should get a full cake or not so I bought the tiramisu 2 cake piece set first. Trust me, the cake is to die for. It had the perfect amount of sweetness and moisture. And I love love the packaging. Pickup was very easy. Found this hidden gem when I was looking for places to get dessert. Took a trip to San Jose to hang out with a friend and to my surprise they never heard of Anton Sv so obviously I had to order them a few slices for all of us to try out. By far the best crepe cake any of us ever tasted. Too bad I'm not a local in San Jose but definitely worth the drive to get. In comparison Lady M has better textures and over all better taste. Anton is more expensive so my expectation is that it will be better. Turns out Anton to me is over rated. This isn't like a commercial business where there is a regular bakery u can show up and order, so go on their website and order online with a specific time for pick up, it's in San Jose and in one of those offices where u ring a doorbell and someone opens the door and hands u the cake. There are several flavors, and after trying them at a yelp event my husband requested to have it as a bday cake. That being said I wasn't too mad at spending 88 dollars just for one cake. But I think for just a regular occasion the price is steep for such a small amount. The cakes themselves are tasty and intricately made, maybe that's the reason for the price. We received a delicious pistachio mille crepes as a wedding gift from friends. It is such a unique "wedding cake", the crepes are black but the cream topping with flowers and pistachio made it look perfect for our wedding celebration. It looked exactly as shown in the pictures. I first tried their Mille crepe cake at pho dao. It's a pho place that sells by the slice and usually their available flavors are Hokkaido cheese and matcha. I've been obsessed ever since and had been wanting to buy an entire cake. Finally for my husband's birthday, the opportunity presented itself and I decided to order the full black sesame cake. The whole process was really easy. I placed the order online. There's two pick up times and the pick up location is in Milpitas. They text you the directions the day before and it was a little tough to find because of road closures due to Bart construction but I called when I got confused and they directed me. You can always call them as well. The cake itself was to die for. Not overly sweet. Super soft and delicate. They recommend that you consume within 48 hours and honestly it was hard not to eat the whole cake in one sitting. My first time trying their mille crepe cake and so glad I did! We took advantage of their delivery service to Oakland and got the Hokkaido Milk cake and the mango panna cotta. Delivery came during a 2 hour window and I was able to track the expected arrival. The presentation was lovely with the cake slices in a beautiful box tied with a ribbon and the panna cotta in cute jars. Everything was delicious and I can't wait to try other cake flavors. read more
