This review is for your RUDE ASS DELIVERY DRIVER. I have lived in Lorton and supported your business since 2009. The food has always been hit or miss. Nonetheless, we have always been back. Tonight, however, was the first time I have EVER encountered a delivery driver as rude as the one you have decided on to employ. I have a doorbell. She didn't knock on my door or ring my doorbell. She thought it was acceptable to kick on my door until someone opened it. In what world is this okay? You never know what kind of things are going on inside of a home and who lives in that home. Everyone in my home right now is extremely sick except for my husband. When my husband opened the door, she accused him of not leaving her a tip. He told her that he called and left her a tip on the credit card. She kept saying that is not what she was told. That she was told that we made a payment for the food but didn't leave a tip. A lot of times we do give cash tips but not for that type of behavior. What makes your think you are deserving of a tip for acting like a straight ass? A tip is left depending on how SATISFIED you are with a service. Luckily for her we didn't cancel our tip because honestly she DIDNT deserve one. We unfortunately won't be ordering or supporting this business in the future. You should really look in to who decide to employ and should listen to your customer complaints. read more

Antonelli's is one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants and it's not even in my neighborhood! I live in Alexandria and travel the 15/20 minutes to Lorton every time I get a craving for a cheesesteak. Yes, you read that right - just for a cheesesteak (and fries). It's that good. I first discovered this spot in college (2008) on my way back from visiting DC - we pulled over for gas, the rest of my friends went to Burger King but I decided to try out this spot. I made the right decision. I should say that I actually get a chicken cheesesteak, however I have had both the chicken and the steak and they are both great. I have also tried all of the local Alexandria places for cheesesteaks and this is still my favorite place. The bread is good, the chicken is well seasoned and overall the entire sandwich comes together for a really yummy guilty pleasure meal. Don't forget the fries! They're crunch and the perfect side to this meal. It is family owned, which I like. The service is fast, friendly and super affordable. When I pick it up I notice that I'm being charged for a full size BBQ Chicken Pizza, which is considered a Speciality Pizza, priced at $20 for a large pie. The guy tells me that "their system doesn't allow them to offset the price for not a full speciality pizza, so they just charge it as a full". Now annoyed, I pay for it. Antonelli's is the only place I'll order pizza from when I'm at work in Lorton! It started off with me needing a quick bite during our busy season, and I found their menu in the pile behind our counter. I called up and ordered a calzone. Delivery did take a little bit longer than I expected, but the food was tasty (and chock full of toppings - meat lover's Calzone), so I figured I'd order again and try something different next time. The next time, I ordered a Calzone again (I know, I'm boring!) but the wife had come to visit me at work, so she decided to order a Greek Gyro salad, which she absolutely loved when it arrived! Her salad came with two stuffed grape leaves, something she hasn't had in a long time - and said that they were excellent. She also thought that the gyro meat was really tasty, and that the salad was very good! Everything I've tried from Antonelli's has been solid - wings, fries, calzones, gyro's, but I have never ordered a pizza from them... A while later, we ordered on a Saturday, and we needed something we could eat quick while I was busy, so we got a Large pizza with pepperoni and black olives - MUCH better than I expected - a definite cut above the quick delivery chains! The sauce (that I wasn't wild about in the calzone/stromboli) is excellent on the pie, and the amount of cheese/pepperoni/olives was spot on - enough to give flavor, but not so much that you can't still taste the cheese/sauce/crust. If I had to critique anything, it's that occasionally they do take a little bit longer to deliver - I think this is more that it's a small, family owned business that might get backed up (either in the kitchen or on drivers) rather than them being slow.
