So wait was quite long, but that doesn't mean they make a bad sandwich, soup or salad. They also served it all up in a friendly small town Tilly County way. Kudos. Yet many of our family's orders had a variety of small errors from oversights (missing avocado; grilled sandwich served cold) or executive misjudgments (Northwest Crunch Salad mega-sparse on quinoa; or potato and pasta salads being pretty normcore) that hold Antoinette's Kitchen back from five stars. Found this gem on Yelp and they didn't disappoint. The house salad was very good and plentiful, but could have used a slightly larger container of salad dressing. The La Ham Sammy was excellent with great flavors throughout. I especially liked the crispy cheese edges. The potato salad was also excellent. This is a drive through only so you can take it home, eat in the car, or use one of two picnic tables on their property. They give you a fork and a napkin, and I wished I had asked for 2 napkins, in lieu of them just giving you two. Eating in the car can be a bit messy compared to having a table. The girl that helped us was very nice and a genuinely friendly demeanor. They are premium priced, but really a nice change from fast food, or chain sandwich shops. read more

BEST sandwiches! OMG, but we loved our only time driving through this little food cart. We were on our way back to Vancouver, WA from Depot Bay and were hungry. All three of us ordered something different and shared. We couldn't figure out which was our favorite as everything was so tasty. Also, I'm allergic to MSG, so I was worried about the lunch meat in the sandwiches, as often lunchmeat in stores is LOADED with MSG to make it taste delicious. Only the best of establishments use high quality meats that don't need MSG to taste delicious. I was SO happy that Antonette is using such high quality ingredients. No wonder we our mouths were so happy to eat our sandwiches. Now I'm busy telling everyone all about Antonette's, and I can't wait for another opportunity to stop in. HIGHLY recommend! Yikes!!! After several good to very good experiences (the only reason this place got 2 stars) with the clam chowder ... well .. YIKES. Flour, milk and a hint of a potato, but in a quart take-away it was nearly impossible to discern a trace of a clam. If you were on an archeological dig for traces of clam you'd leave the site disappointed. I suppose it's possible that the pot in which the "clam" chowder was kept hadn't been stirred, but you'd be hard pressed to call this "potato soup" much less chowder. If you go ask them to get that ladle low in the pot. I won't take the chance again. read more

On our way home from Rockaway, headed east, my crew needed to get lunch. Any plans I had to go in somewhere nice to eat were foiled by the sandy, wet, bedraggled beach bum condition of two tired, cranky, cold, starving teenagers. I want them to do well. Early afternoon on Friday they were not too busy. We ordered two bowls of soup ($5 ea), the special sandwich of the day ($10), and 3 water bottles ($1 ea). You order at one window then drive around to the other side to wait for/ receive your food. There is a picnic table on site we were fortunate enough to snag, and the chef allowed one of us to use the restroom in the storage trailer. -The clam chowder arrived with oyster crackers and was deemed good by the BFF. -The sausage pasta soup arrived piping hot, had a little topping of herbs, and after Princess fetched the Parmesan she was hiding in the car she was a happy camper. She did think it needed a piece of bread. -My sandwich came on Texas toast ( next time I'd look at different bread) and had roasted butternut squash,some kind of herby cheese mixture, and some other unidentifiable yummy stuff. To be honest after nailing down the kid's choices I just ordered fast and the squash caught my eye. It was tasty if a little smaller than I expected from the photos of other people's sandwiches.I was not super hungry though so that was ok. I got to choose a side ( potato, pasta, or green salad or chips) and the chosen homemade potato salad was on point. We would completely come here again. It was really good food and so nice to eat something kind of healthy and normal for a change ( Princess' soup was the hands down favorite). Visiting the coast from Portland and found this place on Yelp after looking for "sandwiches". & let me tell you, they live up to the hype! The people working their were kind and the food was fantastic! We got ours to go but there were little benches if you did want to sit and eat. We pulled up to this food cart for a bite after leaving the beach. You pull up to a window to order and pull around to the other side to pick up. It was perfect during these COVID times. There was a constant stream of cars, but the wait wasn't too long. It's not like fast food. Think "waiting at a diner table for food, but your car is the table." We pulled around to one of their picnic tables to eat. The sandwiches were tasty. We couldn't decide on which one we wanted so we got the Reuben and Jammn' to share. They were both delicious. I couldn't taste the bacon jam, but my friend said he thought the bacon jam was great. I was pretty hungry so maybe I just swallowed it hole without tasting it. That is by no means made to sound like you shouldn't get it. Get it if your in the mood for clam chowder. Between the two sandwiches it was almost a dead heat with the La Hamm pulling ahead in our book. Looks are deceiving so don't drive by. We did and turned around and decided to give it a try. The best sandwiches and soup in the most inconspicuous little drive up hut. They have very creative daily specials and a regular menu to choose from. You can also build your own sandwich or add bacon, etc to their sandwiches. They have delicious clam chowder daily with a variety of other soups on rotation. We were looking for a sandwich for our drive down the 101 and found this place on Yelp. We didn't realize it was a good shack/trailer/truck until we arrived. Not good. Cold sandwich (wasn't meant to be..). Chowder over-rated and WAY too many potatoes, overly creamy. Yuck.

I used Antonette's for lunch for a meeting I had in Tillamook and I cannot recommend the sandwiches enough. Everyone was really pleased with what they received and gave me a lot of credit for finding such a great place. That is one of my favorite things... to receive credit for other people's work. This is one amazing gem. It's some little trailer with a drive thru, but done up very classy. Got the roast beef and mushroom sandwich. It was solid, a unique take on roast beef that I very much appreciated. The thing that blew me away was the clam chowder. O M G ! The chowder was as good as anything I've had in the NE.
