This food is off-the-chain amazing!! My party ordered 3 different menu items and they were equally good. And the ladies in my party know how to prepare good food! The ladies who took our order were super helpful. We sat outside at a picnic table, but it was a beautiful sunny day at 82°.

Hands down *100! Please go for the soup, salad and sandwich Olympic! Will absolutely visit again. Great job girls!

I ordered a "build your own" sandwich. It was good, not great. The sourdough bread was dry. It appeared maybe it had been frozen and thawed (not sure). Ingredients were fresh and the location was super clean. Sandwich seemed a tad spendy for what I got. Next time, I'll order one of their grilled speciality sandwiches. When in doubt, order one of the popular menu items. Gals were nice.

On our way home from Rockaway, headed east, my crew needed to get lunch. Any plans I had to go in somewhere nice to eat were foiled by the sandy, wet, bedraggled beach bum condition of two tired, cranky, cold, starving teenagers. They were not really presentable to go in somewhere and we were outta clean clothes. Sigh. The tired snacks in the car were not gonna cut it. Fast food sounded bad, going into Freddy's did not appeal either. Hmm. Yelp to the rescue! And GPS. This little drive up serves cheffy soups, sandwiches, salads, and sides across from Tillamook Hospital. I imagine they get a lot of business from hospital employees. I hope so. I want them to do well. Early afternoon on Friday they were not too busy. We ordered two bowls of soup ($5 ea), the special sandwich of the day ($10), and 3 water bottles ($1 ea). You order at one window then drive around to the other side to wait for/ receive your food. There is a picnic table on site we were fortunate enough to snag, and the chef allowed one of us to use the restroom in the storage trailer. -The clam chowder arrived with oyster crackers and was deemed good by the BFF. -The sausage pasta soup arrived piping hot, had a little topping of herbs, and after Princess fetched the Parmesan she was hiding in the car she was a happy camper. She did think it needed a piece of bread. -My sandwich came on Texas toast ( next time I'd look at different bread) and had roasted butternut squash, some kind of herby cheese mixture, and some other unidentifiable yummy stuff. To be honest after nailing down the kid's choices I just ordered fast and the squash caught my eye. It was tasty if a little smaller than I expected from the photos of other people's sandwiches.I was not super hungry though so that was ok. I got to choose a side ( potato, pasta, or green salad or chips) and the chosen homemade potato salad was on point. We would completely come here again. It was really good food and so nice to eat something kind of healthy and normal for a change ( Princess' soup was the hands down favorite). It is a little off the beaten path but very worth looking for.

Not good. Cold sandwich (wasn't meant to be..). Chowder over-rated and WAY too many potatoes, overly creamy. Yuck.

Some stuffed animals as well and some hair clips and whatnot. You can also purchase food in there to feed the animals outside (I'm sure it is not the only place to purchase food but that's where we got it this time). Inside the main building are many different kinds of high end gifts, kitchen items, wine, and food, as well as a cafe and ice cream. Outside are the animals (who tbh can really live without the food lol - they are fairly lacksadaisical about it!); and the area where Harvest Host folks park. The friendliest animals are the goats.

What a fabulously wonderful, relaxing restaurant / garden / petting zoo and gift-shop. The grounds are abound with potted plants and flowers. I entered what can best be described as a large, deli-gift-shop. Ordering takes place at the deli counter, a number is given, and food is delivered to your table. There is a fountain area, a coffee bar and a refrigerated cooler for drinks. The wine section is expansive and beautifully displayed. I can't speak to the quality, as I didn't partake in adult beverages. The shop is comprehensive with loads of deli-like merchandise, boutique items and souvenirs. They offer a lot of hand-crafted and locally-made fare, which is my preference. The food was outstanding! I order the cheese charcuterie with salami and my husband ordered the Blue Heron Classic. What a delight, and with plenty of left-overs. It was such a gorgeous day I visited the Candy Shop for an ice cream cone (Tillamook, of course) and walked the grounds for peacock viewing. The Blue Heron has picnic tables outside, so I sat and enjoyed the sun for a while. It was an ideal escape!

We found it fascinating to see how their products are produced. We enjoyed the cheese samples and of course we purchased some to take home. We dined in the cafe and were glad that we beat the lines. We throughly enjoyed the cheese curds and mac & cheese. Wonderful experience but I recommend arriving early. My wife and I participated in the ice cream tasting experience and for $45 per person, it's an experience that can't be topped. Without spoiling the experience, the included ice cream samples and souvenir cover more than half the cost of admission. From start to finish, the experience lasts 1.5 hours. You'll definitely want to book this a week or two in advance because walk-ins are not typically available. If you want to avoid crowds, I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to arrive sharply at 9:00 a.m. right when they open. Not only will you be able to park close by, but you'll be able to do the self-guided tour, walk through the store, and order from the cafe and ice cream shop, all without having to compete with a Disneyland sized crowd. I tried out a grilled cheese sandwich with a side of cheese curds and for cheese lovers, there's no better combo. The grilled cheese is rich and decadent and the fried cheese curds are deliciously crunchy. Definitely come hungry if you're doing one of the tours that include a tasting, since you'll also be collecting cheese samples at the end of the self-guided tour, and you'll want to save your appetite for something from the cafe as well. If you're able to slot in a drive out to Tillamook Creamery in your travel itinerary, you will have the time of your life. Be sure to check out the gift store on your way out, because there are so many cute plushies to take home.

We were hopeful going in, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Our server, Brenton, was one of the rudest employees we've encountered not just at Pelican Brewing Company, but anywhere along the Oregon coast. He came across as though he genuinely disliked his job, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Because of this, my husband and I decided not to order anything and chose to leave instead.
