Most items are at least $16.00~$17.00 . I know everything here is more pricey than most places but the portions were joke. I ordered the Kalua Pork Fried Rice and be warned it was spicier than I thought it would be. Might ask to go easy on the jalapenos next time and the sauce. Ohhhh how I love this place. Shoutout to whoever is running it because it is so efficiently ran! Anuenue fits only a few people for orders on the inside and the line continues outside. It's the only place to order breakfast in poipu and it's delicious! You wait less than 5 minutes for your food to come out, the only wait is for you to place your order. This restaurant was our favorite breakfast on the island. They are only open in the mornings so go early because it is to good there was a line every time we went (we went multiple times it was sooooo good!). Also to note, they are take out only. You can't dine in and you also can't call in to pick up - you just go and wait in line to order then wait for your food. It is worth it though since this was the best place we had breakfast in Kauai. They have their menu posted online but they also have a lot of specials too that you can find out when you get there. They have really tasty french toast! You can choose it with the super sweet topping or a slightly lesser sugar overload version. My favorite dish was their vegetarian omelet - not because I'm a vegetarian (I'm not) but because it has so many great flavors! I added extra balsamic glaze and goat cheese which made a delicious combination - I also liked how you can get it egg whites only. The only kinda funky thing was that the first time I ordered it the omelet came with a bunch of carrots (which ARE a vegetable) but I'd never had sliced circles of carrots in an omelet before and I wasn't a fan so the next time I just asked for the omelet without carrots and they happily obliged. I was just surprised since normally "assorted vegetables" in an omelet doesn't' include carrots but this one did! - All the other veggies were standard. Another super yummy dish they have are different variations of the eggs Benedict - our favorite was the one with Kalua pork! We actually ordered a side of kailua pork to have with white rice as a lunch/snack later in the day because we liked it so much. Wonderful breakfast spot with some really nice eggs Benedict options. I loved the Anuenue Eggs Benedict with tomato jam, bacon bits, and Hollandaise. Someone else on our party got the Hang Ten which was also delicious. You can also get eggs any style, French Toast, pancakes and more. Give yourself some time because it moves slowly, but it is worth the wait. Outdoor seating only and limited. We got there at about 9:30 and it was crowded. My guess is that earlier is better. I was feeling something light and fruity so I opted for their 1/2 papaya with Greek yogurt, banana, pineapple, chia and granola. It was very good! Cute little cafe! Great atmosphere for being on the south side, you get a little hideaway feeling from all the big hotels that surround the area. Menu is diverse, they don't cook your eggs the way you want unless you get a side order, but the food was fresh and portion sizes look small but they are filling!
