Place was easy to find, parking could be harder. They have a few tables outside to sit down on but be sure to bring your jackets. My 4 star rating is a combination of a few things, and I will have the breakdown below. Staff/service: 5/5 stars. From have an amazing knowledge of menu items and recommendations to more than one person swinging by to make sure everything was okay and if we needed anything else. It was very welcoming. From the time we ordered to getting our food to table would have been 5 minutes max. Quantity vs. Price: 5/5 stars. Both our chicken wrap and Anwar style beef had a substantial amount of meat. We loved that they did not shy away from providing protein. Taste: 3/5 stars. I think this had more to do with the type of food we prefer than actually knocking them on their food. It was just not for us. The beef at Mediterranean places for some reason has a lamb smell to it which makes me a bit sick so I ate the fries from the Anwar style dish. But both meats were juicy. Plus because of the breeze our food was cold in a minute. The hummus was definitely on the better ones I have had. Overall we liked the ambiance and experience but food wise we would pass. Driving one hour each way to eat this doesn't make sense. read more

Regrettably, my recent experience at this restaurant was disappointing, and unfortunately, the management's response to my concerns only added to my disappointment. The service during my visit fell short of expectations, and when I shared my experience in a review, the response from Anwar himself was not only unprofessional but also dismissive of my concerns. They seemed to deflect responsibility by focusing on how I communicated rather than addressing the behavior of their staff. Moreover, their promise to reach out through DMs for resolution appeared to be a mere formality, as no compensation or meaningful attempt at resolving the issue was made. This approach to negative feedback feels insincere and misleading. I believe constructive criticism should be acknowledged and dealt with professionally, rather than being dismissed or turned into a blame game. He seems to do this to all his bad reviews, he says "check your DMs" in all his responses, making it seem like he's some great guy reaching out to his customers to overextend a better service but it's all for show. I don't even know how he got my previous review taken down but clearly this is quite shitty. While I had hoped for a more positive experience and a genuine effort from the restaurant to rectify the situation, unfortunately, the response to my concerns only added to my disappointment and their staff is the worst I've ever dealt with. read more

This place is very busy and I can see why. Delicious!! I had the gyro wrap with hummus and it was fantastic! The gyro meat was very tender and a very generous portion, and I loved that my wrap had pickles in it. I thought that was a really nice surprise. Came as a party of 4 on a Wednesday at 6 PM. There was a rush of people at around 6:30 PM. We were here to dine in and got seated immediately but waited an hour for our food because they lost our order ticket somehow which would have dropped their score to a 1 but they compensated us with free drinks and two additional orders of our initial meal. They acknowledged their mistake so I would say this place is definitely worth checking out! We got the 4 shawarma tacos with fries combo. Delicious! Absolutely phenomenal! I ordered on UberEats and scored a BOGO deal on the hummus and pita (not sure if they have this offer in person) and that's what I was most excited for. I love hummus. This was delicious. SO creamy and smooth with such a great flavor. I think I tasted jalapeño but not spicy at and the pita was nice and soft and fluffy. Upon entering this restaurant, I was really impressed with their interior that includes an awesome wall painting and beautiful lights hanging from the ceiling. I decided to order the Combo Beef and Chicken shawarma plate, which came with salad, hummus, yellow rice, pita breads and delicious beef/chicken. The serving portion was very generous too! I also ordered the Beef Shawarma Pita that was filled with delicious flavor on each bite. For the sides, I also ordered Hazelnut Baklava, Garlic Basil and Spicy Hummus Deli. Ok, this is my number one place to order middle eastern food! I love this place. Each time I have ordered delivery, the food is delicious! I can't tell you about in house service since I have only done Uber delivery, but I can tell you that the food is fresh, well cooked, and has balanced seasoning. I have had their kibbeh, chicken gyro, fries, chicken plate, lamb gyro, beef gyro, salad, and some other food. I have to stop myself from ordering here once a week. I really don't know how they manage to keep their food so hot and tasty for delivery, but they got it down to a science. If you want to try something besides your usual, try this place. You will wonder what you have been eating before. I mean, the chicken gyro is so juicy and flavorful and just plain delicious. If I had one thing to recommend they do is to make the Kibbehs bigger. There is another place I go to and they have bigger kibbehs and a cheaper price. So, I won't really order kibbeh a lot from here due to that, but the other stuff is out of this world! Went to Anwar's kitchen tonight with some friends. They are open late night during Ramadan so it is a great option if you want some middle eastern restaurant. Their chicken shawarma pita will leave your stomach and appetite fulfilled. For the price I paid I was satisfied with the proportions they give unlike many other places I have tried. Honestly their menu has an option for everyone and some novelty ones like shawarma tacos my friend got and he savored every bit of it. The fries are very salty and over seasoned to my taste. The interior designs in my opinion are fantastic, it gives a great atmosphere and nice seating options. Parking is very limited so keep that in mind when you plan to go. Decided to try this spot for take out. We ordered 2 wraps, a pita wrap, and kids meal. Overall the food was good. There were a lot of onions in the wraps and gyro which was over powering everything else. The gyro was my favorite from the 3 different meats we ordered. When we go back that'll be my choice but "wast on the onions". Only other thing would be is that it took almost 40 minutes for the food to be ready. They didn't seem that busy while I was waiting but again not sure how many phone or online orders they had or were working on. But 40 min did seem a bit long for take out. But other than that the food was good. The meats tasted good.
