Came here today and we enjoyed the food very much! Even ordered #38 for Togo but also one to eat there. Hands down the best we ever had in Mediterranean food! Ive tried hummus at other places before but this hummus was so flavorful and garlicky! Everything was soooo good! And the service and people were very hospitalitable and nice! We will definitely be back next time we're in the area!

My sister and I brought our parents here for lunch after our train trip and we were AMAZED at how absolutely delicious the food was! When we walked in the owner welcomed us (and our copious amount of bags) in and showed us the fresh skewers to pick what we wanted. He helped us situate the table and within a few minutes we had hot, fresh delicious kabobs and right off the grill! My dad is Middle Eastern and he was so happy to get an authentic taste of home. Do not miss this hidden GEM in LA! Get #4 with Chicken and Beef Kabobs with rice, onion and grilled peppers. We will be back!

The staff & service is 5 star. They were so nice and telling me about the dishes & what to try. The ambiance is like a burger stand type. The food is good. Hummus, the stuff you sprinkle in the rice, the grilled tomatoes, and the chicken was seasoned and cooked right. Next time I'll go for grilled onions instead of fresh cut. I'm definitely going back to try the salmon. The price is a lil high for the portion size but it's good food.

I've tried a lot of Mediterranean restaurants, and somehow I keep finding myself back at Dream Kabob House. The lamb chops are hands down some of the best I've had--perfectly seasoned, incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Every bite tastes fresh and cooked with care. The rice and red beans are just as impressive and complement the meal perfectly. You can tell they pay attention to every part of the plate, not just the main protein. Everything tastes homemade and authentic. What really sets this place apart is the owner. He is always welcoming, friendly, and genuinely appreciative of his customers. That kind of hospitality is hard to find these days. There are plenty of Mediterranean restaurants closer to me, but I gladly drive miles out of my way to eat here. That's how good it is. Great food, great people, and consistently excellent service every time. Highly recommended. read more

The spot is located in DTLA so find street parking if you know you know. I was surprised to find it food from this establishment was going to be amazing but the best food comes from little hole in the walls. Ordered the beef luleh kebab plate came with rice, grilled veggies, and a pita bread. The flavor was all in the meat, well executed nice char seemed like a mom and pop type of place plate cost about $20 and we wanted a small side of hummus would cost about $2. The staff were very nice and hospitable highly recommend if you're looking for a quick and flavorful authentic taste of Mediterranean food read more

I've been coming here for so many years and I've never wrote a review. This place is a literal hole in the wall, but it's so good almost don't even want to write about it cause I want to keep it to myself anyways if you ever find yourself in downtown LA this is the place for a great casual lunch !! The kebabs are freshly grilled to order and the Shirazi salad is amazing easily 10/10 Don't even get me started on the hummus and then they plate it on a bed of rice with a grilled tomato and a hot pepper. If you're a spicy girl like me you're gonna love this place and they also have the warmest pita bread so good and they make this kidney bean salad. Oh my gosh stop it's beyond good service is always amazing. Roman the nice gentleman at the front is awesome. 100/10 Dream Kabob House is hands down one of the BEST spots in LA. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. The food is sooo good, so flavorful, soooooo juicy! It seriously never misses. Portions? Generous. Vibes? Perfect. And don't even get me started on the owner n staff they're seriously the sweetest people ever, always make you feel at home. The meat is good. Everything else in the plate, not so much. The pita bread is given to you cold. The rice isn't that good. It's lacking the butter and that creamy sauce that's normally throwin on top of it. They do provide a small thing of butter and small container of that creamy sauce, but it's not the same. In terms of service, the guy taking your order gives you that hurry up attitude. The interior itself doesn't make the place pleasant the be in. Overall, doesn't feel like a great Middle Eastern experience. For the price charged, not worth it. Should be more in a fast food price range. read more

I tried Dream Kabob house for the first time and it was so tasty! The staff was pleasant, as well. Roman took my order and prepared it and Waheek* shared with me that the restaurant has been around for 9 years! The only downside is that it's cash only and can't use a card. There is an ATM on sight to use, though. But, other than that, it was a good experience and the food was good. I would recommend it and would go back! read more

My favorite lunch spot in the fashion district! Clean, delicious food prepared with love by a family operated business. Service and quality is always top notch. My go-to order is the #13 chicken breast/chicken thigh plate with rice, fresh grilled veggies and pita. It's enough food for two meals! In terms of what they offer for food, though it has evolved a bit over the years, they still have a great, heath-based menu, with some very interesting choices. Nothing can touch the delicious seasonings in their Kabob. We met chef/owner Vahi & his daughter Oli who were so kind & curious as to our huge take out order. We shared news of a new life on the way in our family & that we felt in all of CA this was the best Kabob as if we were in the exotic Middle East. They shared that they were Persian Armenians & cheffing was a family biz. Our beef Lule kebab was TO DIE FOR! Rice pilav tasty & floating on air. The family went crazy over the fresh babaganoush & tsaziki! The onions were hot & spicy, tomatoes grilled to perfection & peppers lured us to try them & were delicious! Can't wait for our next celebration. Not even Beverly Hills can touch this. Oh and THEY sell the genuine Mexican Coca Cola so we loaded up! They're open till 5 so get there a bit early, watch your meal cook freshly over charcoal & take it home for dinner. Just make great food &!excellent value a reason to Celebrate. I was really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant in downtown L.A. The cashier was handling cash, answering the phone, and then touching the bread and lettuce for the sandwiches -- all with bare hands and no gloves. I politely mentioned that I would feel more comfortable if gloves were worn, but he brushed it off and told me to "tell the cook" instead, even though the cook wasn't the one handling the bread or lettuce. What bothered me most is that even after I brought it up, the cashier continued doing the same thing without concern. At one point, he even asked me if I was a "picky person," which felt unprofessional and dismissive. Food safety and cleanliness are very important, especially in food service. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously because customers should feel confident that their food is being prepared in a sanitary way. read more

I recently visited "Dream Kabob House" a Mediterranean spot, and it was an amazing experience! The lamb chops were absolutely delicious and juicy, and the tzatziki yogurt sauce complemented it perfectly. I also tried the hummus and pita bread, along with some chicken, rice, and grilled tomatoes. The lentil soup was also fantastic. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the place was very clean. Plus, the customer service was outstanding ! Everyone was so pleasant and greeted me with a smile. This is my favorite restaurant in Santee. everytime i go to Santee, first thing in my mind is to make sure i have to eat at my favorite Dream Kabob House. My favorite is # 9 Beef Shish with rice , and it comes with grilled tomatoes and peppers and fresh onion and pita bread. Eversince i first tried this restaurant , i keep going back , the taste of the food never changed , food quality is the best, the restaurant is clean, and the family works together which is sweet. not only was the service very good and fast, but the owner was very polite. their kabobs are both juicy and flavorful, and in my opinion, one of the best kabobs i've ever had. the rice was flavorful, and my absolute favorite was their beef lulu and hummus! everything was packed with flavor yet tastes like so homemade. the restaurant itself is well maintained and clean, not to mention very cool. i would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for an affordable and cool place to sit back and enjoy a nice hearty meal. read more
