Ordered takeout on Sunday. Ordered a pizza, wings, and garlic knots. Went to pick up the order and waitress verified what I ordered and gave the food. Got home and found out they gave me the right pizza but a pastrami sandwich and mozzarella sticks. Tool the order back. They had to make my food again. Turns out they gave my food to another customer. No other comments, no apologies, nothing. Saw the food I brought back put to the side. Worst customer service ever. Placed an order with a 60min delivery window. An hour and a half later we called to check on the order and were told it would be arriving shortly. After another 20mins passed with no delivery, we called again only to be told that they didn't have an order for us. Are you kidding me! Mind you, we paid for the order and had an email and text confirmation. The manager then proceeded to tell me that it was not their fault and there was nothing they could do. NO APOLOGY. We come here very often for football games and beer. We had two small children with us the last time we visited. I like that it has a game area for them to play in, and lots of tv screens. The food is literally amazing, every time. It does take a good while for the pizzas to cook, but it's definitely worth it. They have the best pizza rolls ever! Every visit I have ever had at Anya's pizza is always very pleasant. Tonight, we ordered an Anya's Speciality pizza pan crust with a dinner salad and everything was so freshly made with great portion sizes. 3 of us to eat out for under $30.00 without heating up the oven on a hot summer night? I will take it! The food and service is amazing and the quality of their ingredients are outstanding. Any review saying otherwise must've went on one of their very rare bad days because they've been amazing every time over the last year we've ordered from them. I don't know how they are as far as dining in, but I have been having my food delivered from this place. I have had their pizza, scampi, linguine, sausage & cheese sandwich, manicotti, lasagna, spaghetti and cannoli (not all at the same time). it's not over the top great but it is good food... and i never had bad experience with delivery.. the drivers are always great and courteous. read more

The pizza here is just amazing, crispy edges.. light inside.. flavorful toppings. We've ordered the pepperoni lovers and the Hawaiian style and love them both. I wrote a pretty harsh review back when this restaurant was Barboni's and I had a horrible experience with ordering from them. In the name of honestly, I must admit that I've never eaten in the actual restaurant or had their pizza or had direct contact with any of their staff except the delivery people. I've ONLY ordered for delivery and only for pasta and salad dishes. I boycotted them for several months after that horrible experience and decided to give them another shot when it became Anya's. I know it's the same owners but I hoped that enough time had passed that the person who royally screwed up my order might not be there anymore. I've continued to place my orders through Grub Hub and delivery time has ranged from surprisingly fast to five more minutes and I'm giving them a call/possibly boycotting forever. Because my orders had been accurate lately, I had been happy to continue ordering from them until tonight. Yet again, they've screwed up. I really don't understand how an order placed online can be screwed up. There's no mishearing involved, no "I thought you said XXX," or someone writing it dow wrong. You read the order and you fill it. Very simple yet somehow they still got it wrong. I'm really not sure how that's possible. When I called to complain, they just seemed confused. The quality and flavor of the pasta dishes is pretty consistent. It's not the most jaw-droppingly amazing Italian food but it's pretty good for a pizza place and a nice alternative to the limited delivery options in Rancho. Sometimes the sauce is a bit too runny and my pasta seems a little bit too much past al dente but that might just be them not accounting for carrryover cooking during delivery. For delivery, I'm not going to nitpick something like that too much. The only thing I can guarantee that I will skip in the future is the caprese salad. It just wasn't very good. Caprese is one of those dishes that, because it's so simple, you really need to have top quality ingredients that are prepared perfectly, and their's doesn't. The cheese and tomatoes are too thickly sliced and the tomatoes are bland supermarket quality. Definitely not the stars of the dish. The dressing they include with it is... odd... sort of a weak Italian and not a top quality balsamic like caprese is known for. read more

Delicious Pizza! Always fast and fresh out of the oven. They have some cute girls working there who are always very friendly and offer great customer service. We come here once or twice a month to watch some basketball games (they have a lot of tvs) and my nephew loves coming here to play with the games and vending machines. The only thing we didn't like is the appetizers, we had the mozzarella sticks and jalapeno poppers and both were way to over breaded and just...no bueno. But the pizza is why people come here. Went in on a rainy Thursday night for some hot pizza and the place was packed. Not knowing what to order, my husband and I were glancing over the menu. One of the servers came to help us and gave us some recommendations. We chose the godfather pizza and some craft beer. The pizza was done fairly quickly and it was delicious. The prices were a little high and in retrospect, we should have ordered from the specials. On a whim, we asked if they do catering. It turns out they had an entire catering menu that we did not see online. We ordered some party trays for a party we were having that weekend. We were shocked when we picked up the food. The portions were so large and our guests barely made a dent in it. Plus the price was just right! This will be my go-to place when I need party trays and it was much cheaper than ordering at the local Italian restaurants. read more

Anya's just re-did their seating, well they covered the seats. It looks really nice. This is a good stop for gluten free pizza or regular pizza... yum. They have about 6 beers on tap and yellowtail table wine ( but hope you like all your wine chilled). We always get the house salad which feeds about 4 and two pizzas. This isn't our very favorite but it's still really good. A bit pricey but the location is what works for us. Nothing like the pizza place on the corner less than a mile away. Sometimes it's super busy with little league sports after parties but there is plenty of room. They have a small arcade area and a patio that people smoke on, so a little for everyone. Some nights there are a few local kids that play guitar and sing out on the patio. read more

Had we known it would be all dough, we'd have skipped it altogether. Who wants a pizza with a more than 2" thick crust? I can't comment on the pizza. I live near by and when I noticed Anya's was open for breakfast I thought I would give it a try. The menu is very limited, I settled for a breakfast burrito, sausage and egg. The tortilla was awful and the contents were worse, even the coffee was bad. I have had many breakfast burritos, mostly from fast food joints. This one set a new low. Farmer Boys, Jack in The Box, Carl's Jr., Baker's even Mickey D's put this to shame and cost a lot less to boot. I'll not be back. It smells really good inside so I was hoping for some really great pizza. I ordered a large pepperoni to go with some dipping ranch. Sadly the pizza wasnt as satisfying ad I had hoped for, it was lacking something, not sure what but wasnt quite at the level i was hoping. I've been coming here for about 10 years off and on. I actually knew Giuseppe who was the original owner. I ate lunch at his house, and found real authentic sicilian food there. So I know what the food here should taste like. I miss the old Barbonis, but anyas is almost the same. Great pizza, great ingredients! Lots of different ice cold beers to choose from. Our favorite pizza place closest to our house. We tried Anya's only a couple months ago and now we order at least once a month! Pizza is thick crust and we get the tomato sauce option and their garlic knots are AMAZING!!! I have a couple negatives (1) it's a little pricey $15 for a pizza and $6 for garlic knots (that's pricey in my book) and (2) they never include dipping sauce for garlic knots (we order mostly online) but I have placed a special instruction asking for dipping sauce and it was never included. I guess I am just used to getting some sort of sauce with knots but maybe that's not normal around here. overall it's amazing and we will continue to give them our business :) read more

We ordered here because we were told it was basically still Barbonis with a different name. We used to eat at the Barbonis off of 19th & Archibald all the time! Wrong! I ordered 2 lunch specials with pizza and salad. I asked to add toppings to my pizza and the lady told me it would be a little bit extra. She didn't explain that it would be $1.40 per extra topping on a MINI pizza! And $.75 for an extra dressing for my salad! Geez! The 2 extra toppings almost cost as much as my entire lunch! I asked if that was correct and the guy from the kitchen said yes with zero remorse. So annoying. On top of that, it sure didn't meet the standards of quality that Barbonis on 19th does. Oh and ps. The Barbonis on 19th never charges me $1.40 for extra toppings on my lunch specials or for extra dressing! Rant over. read more
